Theo sighed, stopped walking, and sat down on the sofa.

"How was your first day at school?" a man asked, walking up to him and carrying a cup of drink.

"Not bad." Theo shook his head. "They all greeted me warmly and no one suspected that I wasn't human like them"

"That's good" the man nodded, stopped, and sat down next to Theo. "Then what's your next plan to find the person who killed Logan?" he asked, setting a cup of drink on the table.

"For now I don't have any plans" replied Theo, shaking his head and looking straight ahead.

"How about tonight we go to the forest?" the man said, turning to Theo.

"Going to the forest?" Theo frowned and turned his head.

"Yes. Maybe we can find the killer there" replied the man nodding his head.

Theo sighed. "I don't think that's a good idea. Because as we all know Logan was shot with a silver bullet. And that means the person who shot him wasn't an ordinary hunter" he said, averting his eyes.

"But we don't know who killed him," the man said, making Theo glance at him. "And the person may be an ordinary hunter, but he used silver bullets to hunt wild animals. Then he thought, that Logan was an ordinary wolf. After all, if he was indeed a hunter of our race then he would not just leave Logan's corpse. He will burn him" he continued.

But Theo was silent, staring straight ahead without saying anything.

"Do you know?" Kaylee said, walking next to Grace and making her turn. "I always feel happy every time I come to a place like this. Even though when I was little I didn't like reading. But after I grew up, I started to like reading novels and have a large collection of novels. I even have a mini library in my house"

Grace smiled. "Looks like we have the same story," she said, averting her eyes and making Kaylee turn to her. "Because when I was little I wasn't interested in books at all. Including fairy tales. And if I wanted to read them then I would ask my Mom or Dad to read them. To me, books weren't that interesting. But not anymore since I read my cousin's novels."

"After reading that novel you started to fall in love with books?" Kaylee asked, looking at Grace who was walking beside her.

"Yes," Grace nodded. "I want to read more. Maybe that's what hate turns to love," she said, turning to her friend and smiling.

Kaylee nodded, kept walking, and looked around the less crowded surroundings.

As for Grace, she turned to the left and saw books neatly arranged on a shelf. But suddenly she stopped.

"Kaylee, wait," she said, causing Kaylee to stop and turn to look at her. She immediately turned around, looked at the books in front of her, and took one of them. Then she was silent, turned the book which was still sealed, and read the writing on the back.

"You want to buy the book?" Kaylee asked, looking at Grace who was standing next to her, and folded her arms over her chest.

"Yes. This book looks interesting" Grace replied nodding her head.

Kaylee sighed. "I'm feeling confused," she said, averting her eyes. "Why do you like history so much? And why do you enjoy reading books with such discussion? Even though it is very boring"

"It's boring for you but not for me" Grace smiled and turned to her best friend. "Let's continue walking," she said, turning around and walking first.

Kaylee just nodded, continuing on her way without saying anything.

"What book would you like to buy?" Grace asked, turning to Kaylee.

"Oh, I know, it must be a novel in your favorite genre. It's romantic," Grace added, averting her eyes.

Kaylee sighed. "If you already know the answer why are you even asking" she sneered, rolling her eyes and looking away.

Grace immediately stifled a laugh after she managed to irritate Kaylee. Even though she knew, she wasn't really like that.

"Okay, let's go to the bookshelf for romance novels" Grace nodded and looked away.

A few moments later, they stopped when they arrived at a bookshelf filled with various titles of romantic novels.

"This is my heaven," Kaylee said, looking at a bookshelf in front of her with a smile etched on her face. Then she immediately turned around and noticed the various titles of books neatly arranged on the shelf.

As for Grace, she was silent, turned around, and turned her back on her friend.

"If you want to find your favorite novel then just search. We'll meet at the cashier" Kaylee said without turning to Grace.

"It's okay" Grace nodded. "I'll wait for you until you're done. After that we will look for a novel in my favorite genre" she said, looking around. But her forehead immediately furrowed when she accidentally saw a man standing not far in front of her. "Kay"

"Yes, what is up?" Kaylee asked, noticing a novel she was holding in her hand.

"That's your boyfriend, right?" Grace asked, turning to Kaylee.

Kaylee immediately turned around and saw a man standing not far ahead. "Yeah, that's Colton," she answered, nodding her head.

"He likes to read books too?" Grace turned and looked at Kaylee.

"As far as I know, he doesn't like reading books. Especially romantic novels," Kaylee replied, shaking her head.

"Then why is he here?" Grace asked, looking away.

But Kaylee just shook her head and continued to pay attention to the man who was indeed her boyfriend.

"I'm not sure if we'll find the killer," a man said, walking next to his friend and looking around the quiet and dark surroundings.

"There's nothing wrong if we try" replied another man.

"But what if what we're doing is for nothing? We haven't found the killer or any evidence. Because as we know, that–"

"Shut up, Tom. I'm not in the mood to argue with you."

"You're the one who should be quiet, Harley. Because your idea didn't work at all. Look, we've been exploring this forest for quite a while but so far we haven't found anything. What a bad idea, tsk!"

Theo sighed. "Can you guys shut up?" he asked, turning back and looking at the two men. "We came here to find the killer not to fight. And if you guys still want to argue you better go home."

"Sorry," one of them said and lowered his head.

"It's okay" Theo nodded. "Now we're walking again and I don't want to hear any more debate," he said, averting his eyes.

But the two men just nodded, looking away without saying anything. And then they walked again.
