"I thought Mason was going to stay at your house but I was wrong," Caitlin said, lowering her head and staring at the glass of drink in front of her.

"Mason?" Kaylee frowned and turned to Caitlin who was sitting next to her. "You mean Mason is Grace's cousin?" she asked and Caitlin nodded. Then she turned to look at Grace who was sitting in front of her. "So Mason came to your house?"

"Not coming to my house," Grace replied, making Kaylee frown. "But he came to this town to meet me. But I told him that I was still at school. So he decided to wait at the grill and we met there. That's why yesterday I was in a hurry because I didn't want to keep him waiting." she lied.

"And I hate that," Caitlin added, making both of her friends turn to look at her. "That's why I can't meet him. Even though I miss him so much"

Kaylee sighed. "I thought after you went to New York you'd forget about Mason and meet another guy there. But I guess I was wrong."

"How could I forget a man as handsome and attractive as him?" Caitlin asked, turning to Kaylee. "You should know, that he has stolen my heart and that makes me unable to fall in love with another man"

"Really?" Kaylee turned and raised an eyebrow. "Then what about Theo?" she asked. "Didn't you say yesterday that you were jealous of Grace?" she said, making Grace frown. "Because she–"

Kaylee's words were cut short when Caitlin step on her foot and glared at her. As if preparing to eat her alive.

"Because I?" Grace frowned. "Why because of me?" she asked looking confused.

"It's okay." Caitlin shook her head and turned to look at Grace. "Kaylee was just joking, so you don't have to think about it," she said with a smile etched on her face.

Grace just nodded, turned to a nearby glass of chocolate milkshake, and took a sip.

"So you don't want to come home with us?" Kaylee asked, looking at Grace who was walking to her right.

"Yes." Grace nodded. "Because I want to go home on foot"

"Okay, we won't force you" Kaylee nodded and looked away. Then she turned to Grace. "Then see you tomorrow"

"See you guys" Grace stopped, turned to Kaylee and Caitlin, and smiled.

"See you later, Grace!" Caitlin said.

Grace just smiled and watched her two friends continue to walk. Then she turned around, looked at the locker in front of her, and opened her locker.

"Hi"

She turned her head and saw Theo standing next to her.

"Hi, Theo" Grace smiled.

"Am I bothering you?" Theo asked, raising an eyebrow.

"No." Grace shook her head and turned to look at the locker.

Theo nodded and looked away. "By the way, when are we going to draw together?" he asked, turning to look at Grace.

Grace turned. "Wait, didn't you say that you had something to finish?" she asked, frowning.

"True. But I've handled it" replied Theo nodding his head. "So now I'm free"

Grace nodded, looked away, and took her stuff from the locker.

"So?" Theo raised an eyebrow.

"Sorry, Theo, I can't answer right now. Because I have something to finish" Grace replied turning to Theo.

"So you are busy now?" Theo asked, raising an eyebrow without taking his eyes off the girl.

Grace chuckled. "Right. And I'm sorry for that," she said, opening her bag and putting her stuff in.

"Okay, no problem. We can do it another time when we both have some free time" Theo nodded and looked away. Then he turned. "After this do you want to go straight home or?"

"I want to go straight home," Grace replied, turning to the man and smiling.

"How about we go home together?" Theo asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Sure. If you don't mind." Grace nodded and closed her locker.

"Of course, I don't mind" Theo replied with a smile etched on his face.

Theo walked, stepped out of his room, and closed the door. Then he turned around and continued his steps.

"Theo"

He immediately stopped and looked at the man standing in front of him.

"You want to go?" the man asked, frowning and looking at Theo.

"Yes. I want to go to the forest to find out who shot Logan" replied Theo nodding his head.

"Wasn't it a few days ago you, Tom and Harley did it but you didn't find anything there?" the man frowned.

"Right" Theo nodded and looked away. "But I'm still curious about the case. And I wanted to go into the woods to check, maybe now I'll find a clue" he said, turning to the man.

The man nodded. "Then I'll come with you"

"No need." Theo shook his head. "I can go alone. You'd better stay home with the others."

"What if you meet the hunter? And he suspects that you're not human?" the man asked without taking his eyes off Theo.

Theo smiled. "Thank you for worrying about me, Brandon. And I appreciate that. But you don't have to worry, because I'll be fine. And I can take care of myself," he explained, holding the man's shoulder.

"Come on, Theo, let me come with you" the man pleaded. "I don't want anything bad to happen to you. Because I don't want to lose my Alpha"

Theo sighed. "Okay, you come with me," he said, nodding his head and looking away.

"Okay, all set. Now time to go" Grace mumbled, staring at the trunk of her car which contained several weapons. Then she closed it, walked and opened the car door.

"Grace!"

She immediately turned and saw Cam who stepped out of his car.

"You want to go?" Cam frowned and walked over to Grace.

"Yeah, I have something to finish." Grace nodded.

"If I may know, where do you want to go?" Cam asked, stopping and standing next to his ex.

But Grace was silent, looking away without saying anything.

Cam nodded. "It's okay if you don't want to tell me"

"I want to go to the grill," Grace replied, making the man turn to face her.

"Grills?" Cam frowned and Grace nodded. "You said you had something to do. But why did you go there instead?"

"Because I want to meet someone. And we promised to meet at the grill" Grace replied looking straight ahead.

Cam nodded and looked away. "Okay, how about I drop you off?" he asked, turning to Grace.

"No need, I can go myself" Grace shook her head and turned to the man who had once won her heart.

"But it's getting late, it's dangerous if you go alone. So better let me accompany you" Cam said. "Don't worry, I'll be waiting outside so I won't hear your conversation" he continued, looking at Grace with a serious look.

Grace shook her head. "It's okay, Cam. I can go by myself. And you'd better go back to your house. Because I have to go," she said, averting her eyes.
