Cam pulled the car over when he arrived in front of the grill. Then he turned to Grace who was sitting next to him. "Are you sure I don't have to wait for you?"

"Yeah, I'm sure." Grace nodded and removed the seat belt from her body. "Because I don't know how long I'll be here. And I don't want to keep you waiting long. So you'd better go home," she said, turning to the man.

Eventually, Grace had to accept Cam's offer and go to the grill, even though she didn't want to go there. Because he kept offering to walk her, and Grace knew that her ex-boyfriend was stubborn. So she was forced to cancel her intention to go where she was going.

"But I don't mind waiting for you no matter how long it takes," Cam said.

Grace smiled. "It's okay, Cam. You don't have to. We have to go to school tomorrow anyway, don't we? And there happens to be a history subject. So you better hurry home and get some sleep so you don't wake up late."

Cam sighed. "Okay, if that's what you want," he said, nodding his head and looking away.

"Then see you tomorrow. Thanks for bringing me here" Grace said without taking her eyes off the man.

"You're welcome." Cam nodded. Then he turned. "But if you need anything don't hesitate to tell me. Because I will help you"

"Sure," Grace replied, nodding her head. "Then thanks again, Cam. You be careful on the road and don't speed" she said with a smile etched on her face.

Cam just nodded and looked away without saying anything.

As for Grace, she smiled and looked at the man once more. Then she opened the car door and immediately stepped out.

"Because of Cam, I failed to go into the woods and find out more about the case," Grace said to herself as she looked at the empty glass on the table. "I wonder what animal attacked that man. And I want to know," she continued. Then she sighed and lifted her head.

"Hi"

She turned her head and saw a man standing next to her.

"May I sit here?" the man asked, raising an eyebrow.

Grace just nodded, staring at the man without saying anything.

"Thank you" the man smiled. Then he sat down on a bar stool next to Grace. "By the way did you just come alone?"

"Yes, as you can see" Grace replied nodding her head.

The man nodded. Then he turned to stare at the glass of drink in front of empty Grace. "Your drink has run out, how about adding more?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. "You don't have to worry, I'll pay for it," he said with a smile etched on his face.

"No need." Grace shook her head. "Soon I want to go home because tomorrow is a school day"

"So you are a student?" the man raised an eyebrow and Grace nodded. "I almost forgot," he said, causing Grace to turn to face him. "I'm Harley Morris. And what's the name of this beautiful girl next to me?" he asked, holding out his hand.

"I'm Grace," Grace answered, shaking the man's hand and smiling faintly.

"Beautiful name for a beautiful girl like you. Nice to meet you, Grace" Harley smiled, lowered his head, and kissed Grace's hand.

Grace blushed. "Thank you, Harley. Nice to meet you too"

Harley smiled. "So you want to hurry home?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Yeah, because I don't want to wake up late tomorrow" Grace replied nodding her head.

"How about I take you home?" Harley asked without taking his eyes off Grace. As if nothing else caught his attention.

"No need!" Grace shook her head quickly. "I can go home alone," she said with a smile etched on her face.

"Are you sure?" Harley raised an eyebrow. "It's late, it's dangerous for a girl to go home alone. I'm afraid that you will meet someone who has bad intentions toward you. So it's better if you allow me to take you home. So that you arrive at your home safely"

"No, that's fine." Grace shook her head and turned to Harley. "I can take care of myself. Thanks for the offer and see you next time" she said, smiling and looking at the man once more. Then she got up from the chair she was sitting in and quickly walked away.

"What a beautiful girl" Harley mumbled, turning his head and watching Grace's back. "I will make sure, when we meet again you will fall in love with me," he said with a smirk etched on his face.

"If I'm being honest, I also wonder who killed Logan?" Brandon said, looking around and seeing the tall trees.

"I don't know." Theo shook his head. "And earlier when I came here looking for clues I didn't find anything. But I was curious and couldn't stop thinking about the case. That's why I came back to this forest. Plus I'm also haunted by the guilt of not being able to protect you. and others. So that one of you has to be the victim" he explained, walking in front of Brandon and looking around.

"Theo," Brandon said, making the Alpha immediately stop and turn towards him. "You don't have to blame yourself because it wasn't your fault. Besides, you didn't know that Logan would die that night."

"Yeah, you're right." Theo nodded. "But I should never have gone to Canada. So that I could protect you and the others. And maybe if I stayed here then Logan would still be alive" he said, lowering his head. "I'm sorry because I can't be a good leader"

Brandon sighed. "Theo, listen, it's not your fault, okay? You went to Canada not because of your will. So I beg you, please stop blaming yourself" he said, holding Theo by the shoulder and looking deeply at him.

Theo nodded. "Okay, I'm sorry again," he said, raising his head and looking at Brandon.

"It's okay" Brandon nodded and smiled. "Now let's go further and maybe we'll find a clue."

Theo just nodded and looked at Brandon without saying anything. And then they walked again.
