"I think your conclusion, well, some of it, is the correct one."
Liam raised his eyebrows, though his face was still as level and cold as before.
"But don't forget that my sister has reason to say everything she says," Heath said, straightening himself after he managed to catch his breath.
“What do you mean reason? I know she already understands that once I swallow the stone, I will be cursed with immortality. And one day, she will leave me alone," Liam said. “How could she have the heart to let me live such a life?”
“Your Grace, have you forgotten that even now you are already half-immortal?” Heath asked.
Liam furrowed his brows even more. "But I can still die."
"You're not dead even after 70 years of living without your heart, Your Grace," Heath spoke quickly, almost cutting Liam's words off.
The two of them were silent for a moment.
