Lance's POV
My father was thrown off guard and our plan worked.
He did not know what to say, neither did he have to know what to say.
"I see you're busy," He said.
His phone rang and he picked it up.
"Hello?" He said and I swallowed, the Beta was eyeing me like I collected his candy.
"What?" He asked.
"What happened?" I asked and he ended the call.
Slipping his phone back into his pocket, he walked out of Alfero's shop.
"What is it?" I asked as I followed him, the Beta was already by his side.
"Alpha, what happened?" He asked and my father sighed.
"Ten werewolf kids from the Pack are dead," He said and I gasped.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"What killed them?" Raphael asked.
"I don't know and that's what I want to know," He said.
"I and the Beta would go find out," He said.
