Chapter 19: I Need A Job

"I don't want daddy to hold me. I want Mommy to hold me,’’ Ella refused and insisted.

She immediately turned away and continued to pout.

Liam reached out and tried to pick her up, but the little girl immediately struggled, unwilling to be held by him.

He had no choice but to put her back on the sofa. Then, he looked at the siblings and asked.

"Then what do you want me to do so that you won't be angry with daddy?"

"Let Mommy come back and treat her well. Then we won't be angry,’’ Asher spoke first.

He laid out his terms.

"Yes, you're not allowed to treat mommy badly,’’ Ella agreed.

Liam's eyes narrowed. He really did not agree with this point. He bit his thin lips and said, "Both of you stay here and think about it carefully."

After that, he planned to be a little heartless to both of them and give them the cold shoulder. He thought that the pups would not ignore him after that.
