09 Christopher's rule

"Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god!" Christopher screamed inside his head.

"I can't believe that crap worked. I'm alive, and not only that, all of these leaders that I wasn't even worth their time before, are bowing down in front of me." Christopher was extremely happy. "I have to keep up the act and use this to take control Take control over everything here. First I need to get rid of anyone that may pose to be a problem."

"Clyde." Christopher called out to him.

"Yes, sir?" Clyde responded, with his head still down.

"Kill Lydia. I shall help you a bit of course, so you have no trouble." Christopher said to Clyde.

"Wait, wait, wait! Why kill me?" Lydia half screamed.

"Cultivating a forbidden technique and you want me to let you live?" Christopher said before he gave the signal to Clyde, that he should proceed.

"I'm not evil just because I cultivate an evil technique!" Lydia exclaimed. "In fact, I only cultivate it so I can have the power to save the young girls that have unfortunately fallen here. You can imagine what would happen to them, when the other leaders are men with the power to rule this place. I had to save them somehow." Lydia desperately tried to save herself, and her point made a lot of sense. Any sensible being can guess what horror the girls would go through.

"Clyde, is what she's saying true?" Christopher asked.

"No sir, she puts up this righteous act, but behind the scenes she sells the same girls she swore to protect." Clyde exposed Lily and what she was really doing. He thought that he should get rid of the other leaders, so he can be the only right-hand man of the… , that's when he realized that he didn't know the name to the man that he was bowing down to.

"Kill her then." Christopher said. " And don't resist, otherwise I'll give you a slow and painful death."

The horror in Lydia's eyes was eminent, she couldn't save herself and resisting was futile. A being 2 realms above her, even if he was in the begging stages and she was in the late stages, there was no chance of her even hurting him.

Christopher would kill her himself, but while his water control was at the fifth human realm, the power behind it was embarrassingly low. If he tried to kill her himself, he wouldn't even be able to leave a scratch on her.

That's why this was a huge gamble, if even one of them tried to test his strength at any moment, everyone would realize that he was incredibly weak.

Lydia panicked and tried everything to convince Clyde not to kill her. She pleaded and offered her body if he would just stop. She tried employing her seduction technique again, but in her panicked mind she couldn't pull it off at the level that would have effect on Clyde.

In the end she was unable to convince him and not wanting to suffer a painful death, if she was going to die anyway, she gave herself up.

Clyde pulled his sword from its sheath. He swung it down hard, in one motion. The sword made contact with her neck and sliced her head, clean off. She didn't put any qi as protection in her neck, as she wanted her death to be quick.

Her head fell onto the floor and a second later, her lifeless body followed.

Clyde swung the sword once more, to rid it from the blood that stained it and he put it in its sheath.

"Good job." Christopher smiled. "We will kill everyone that's not a water element user, do you understand" His thoughts were, if he is able to give the basic water technique to everyone with the water element, he can track and control their strength. There was a surprisingly vast amount of different cultivation techniques in this world, he did not want to get surprised by one of them.

They went to the Tigers and dragon group and got similar results. Both of the leaders tried pleading in some way, hoping to save their life, but they didn't put up a fight. The power of a fifth human realm cultivator was just too daunting.

For the next week a massacre ensued. Almost the whole of the dragon group, who were mostly fire element cultivators and almost the majority of the tigers who were a group of cultivators of all elements, they were all killed.

For the first time since anyone knew, the Leviathan did not eat anything for a whole week, due to the surplus of food it got from all of the dead cultivators.

If they knew this was going to happen, someone would have gone on a killing spree a long time ago and they would have all used this chance to try and escape.

The reason no one went on a massacre again, was the fear from someone at the fifth human realm.

Christopher was keeping the order inside the Leviathans stomach. His bluff had worked and nobody had yet to find out that he was actually weaker than most of them.

And a week after that, the first presentation came up. It was time for everyone left to learn of their new leader and get to know the new system that he was going to put up.

"Listen up all of you. Here in my hand, I have a cultivation book of the water element up to the third human realm. I shall give all of you a copy to study, as I don't need useless first and second human realms in my shelter." Christopher gave the surprising news.

"I'm going to get to be a third realm cultivator!"

"Oh my god, I can't believe our luck!"

"He is so great, long live the leader."

Almost everyone in the crowd was cheering on Christopher, there was only one group of about thirty men that were cursing at him.

"God dammit. Now all of those little plebes that we joked around with when they were weak, are going to be just as strong as us."

"What the f**k are we going to do."

Needless to say, they were quite worried. Now the few hundreds of low-level cultivators that they picked on, when they thought they were on top, could come back to bite them.

Christopher put on a dictatorship, but it worked in that environment. The shelter advanced quickly and five years had passed.

"Leader, we are in a dire situation yet again." One of his advisors said.

"We haven't received a beast for 2 months now, right?" Christopher asked.

"That's right sir, our population is dropping and we haven't had a new born in 3 months. people are dying of starvation and some have resorted to eating the meat of the very Leviathan that we are inside in. But its meat is too tough and it's also poisonous and even more people are dying, we have to do something."

The shelter was now a lot more advanced, with better infrastructure and homes, transport and communication but that did not matter as they were in a crisis.

A lot of people were dying left and right from a plethora of causes. Christopher decided to call on a meeting between all of the about a thousand people left in the shelter.

"I have gathered you here, for a solution to our impending problem. As many of you may now, the Leviathan has gone into a slumber of sorts, and it rarely eats anything. That has become a problem for us, the lack of recourses is slowly killing of our population." Christopher started explaining and everyone remained silent, waiting for his proposed solution to be announced.

"We will flee the Leviathans body." Christopher announced, and before the onslaught of questions and confusion could start, he continued. "Trying to climb up the esophagus is now possible, but very dangerous, especially for a group of our size. If we go like this, I expect less than 50 to make it out. We have to force the Leviathan to barf us out. Everyone follow after me."

Everyone was confused about how he planned to do that. With the size of the beast, they were in and the amount of damage they could do to it, the majority of them thought that he was going insane.

Christopher led everyone to where he ran five years ago, he climbed up the esophagus and located the scar from where his base was located five years ago. He Gather his water and slashed at it, opening the wound. The Leviathan's scream was deafening.

Everyone watching was reminded of the strength that Christopher possessed.

The only reason he was able to slash it open, was because he knew the precise location of the previous wound.

"Everyone, use this wound that I have started for you, to open it up more and cause even more discomfort for the Leviathan." Then he made himself a platform of water, upon which he sat. Then he started gathering his qi and water as a bubble or aura around himself.

The others were confused with his actions, but they didn't say anything and continued on. With the amount of people working on the wound, it quickly got very serious. The Leviathan was trashing about, moving its body.

"It is preparing to spit us, along with some blood, out. Everyone, gather your qi around your body, to form a shield. We do not know where we will end up.

And finally, the Leviathan spit almost all of them, alongside a lot of books and materials out on a single coral underwater, in the middle of the ocean.

That's how the citizens of Coralopolis found themselves there. At least that is what the ancestor's second diary said.
