Later, the rest of the people had arrived and taken their baths. They even had a brand new set of clothing, courtesy of the efforts of the many people from the theocracy. Even so, they still gave Night Silver the credit for it. And then one of the dragons stupidly asked something…
"The bath bath was a great idea. But, what about food and shelter? Aren't those on the list of important things?"
"Will you shut up brother? Silver has her reasons for doing things this way. Though, I do agree. It is difficult to know what's more important. Shelter or food…" Tsa snapped at his brother.
"Hey, there's no need for snapping at each other." Night Silver scolded. "Tsa, your brother is right though. Food, Water and Shelter are three basic necessities of life. All of them are important, almost to an equal degree. For now, we can rely on my magic for clean water and fresh food. So Shelter is the most important thing at this time." She explained, in plain simple terms.
"Then, why make the bath first? Wouldn't it be better to just create new shelters instead?"
"Uh… I like baths. Do you think I'm going to work hard without a way to wash up?" Night Silver taunted with a dissatisfied look in her eyes. "Anyway, the shelter I made earlier has a lot of rooms inside. And can hold a lot of people. Children without family will be the first to get a place. And then we can discuss it from there. But, let's rest for now. Let the body recover fully before going too hard on working." She added, clapping her hands together once and then started walking back to the shelter she made earlier. Once I get back, I'll disinfect the whole area. SO many diseases linger in unclean environments.
The dragons looked at Night Silver's back, bewildered, as she walked away. They shrugged as they looked at each other for confirmation. And then began to explain to their people what was to follow. This allowed them some time to think over the reasons why a bath was the first thing created. Unknowingly giving enough time for Night Silver to work her magic without any potential accidents happening.
Having managed to walk far enough away to be out of earshot, Night Silver groaned a little, annoyed. "So much to do. I just want to go on an exploration of the world. Why did I have to make a deal where I stayed bound here for so long? Ugh, this is really annoying. I still need to regain the rest of my levels. Judging from what I've seen here… I'm sure my best friend would say something like : "Ha, not even worth the MP"..." She mused aloud, finally able to vent her frustration. "Damn, I miss them already. If only I had stayed with them… Wait, those 6 others, they definitely weren't with me when I appeared here. Then! That means there's a chance I'll see them at some point!" She smiled tearfully. "That settles it, I'm going to search the whole world. Every single grain of sand if I need to. I'll find them." She continued as she finally made it back to the place where the rugged shelters were set up. "Hmm, I should make this a world where we can thrive regardless. We need to make magic a normal thing. Something so mundane and essential… Looks like I should keep one of these places in a diseased state." She said, protecting one from her next magic.
"10th Tier Dryas Drive, Widen Arch boosted magic Greater Area Neutralize Poison & Disease."
A gust of wind blew through the area, ridding any and all illnesses from appearing again. Even the air felt cleaner and crisper. As if each breath revitalized one's body.
"Now to wait for the others. To show how even weak magic can be helpful. I wonder how many of them would like to learn druidic magic…" Night Silver wondered as she caused plants with welcoming fragrances to grow, stopping once the people started coming back.
"Oh, what's that smell? It's so much different from before." One in the crowd asked.
"That is the scent of a sanitary environment. And Lavender. It's a nice smell…" Night Silver began. "Now, I used my magic to clean the entire area, except for this one small tent. All to show you some magic. Now watch closely." She continued, dropping the barrier around the tent and then with silent casts, a magical breeze cleansed the tent. "This is the power of magic. And it is one of the many skills I will teach those of you who are interested in learning. It doesn't matter if you're human, dwarf or elf. I'll teach you the magic." She finished.
"Silver… This is amazing. What can your magic not do?" Tsa asked, unable to stop himself from saying as much. It was like a power not his own had forced him to ask it.
"Pfft, as if I'd tell you. Ah, it'll take more than that to trick me." Night Silver replied, this time not with a giggle. "Now then, since I've finished the demonstration let's all get some much needed rest. I may not look like it. But I do like sleeping. So, who's going to spend the night in the Nature's Shelter?" She continued, ignoring Tsa's clear confusion.
In a den far away, a Wild Magic Spell backfired on someone. "Damn her! How did she know it was me?" The Massive Dragon grumbled.
"Perhaps she's stronger than we thought, oh Great Mother." Another Dragon commented, then received a tail slap to their Jaw.
"I know that already! How did she manage to resist me? Is Tsaindorcus just that weak, too weak to serve as a go between?" The Great Mother Dragon wondered. "Let's try again, but do it to the other humans you fought. Two of you go and bring them something to gain their trust and wait for me to infect their minds. I wonder what stupid humans will do with a superiority complex over the other races in that little nation they call it." She cackled as she gave the order.
Following the orders of their mother, the two dragons quickly left. Neither of them wanted another tail slap. "I wonder if it was the right move to return to Mother's side? She seems crazy?" one said.
"Shut up you idiot, or she may hear you." The other said.
