"Oi, you two done?" someone spoke up. Lux turned his head to see Ciaran standing at the back door.

"Yes, also am I allowed to go out?" Lux questioned with a smile.

Ciaran smiled back.

"Maybe in a few days or weeks. It depends on your injury if you hurt it again. Maybe even a month, so just stay inside for a few more days. If you go out, there is nothing to see. Our kingdom's crops, food, and water are all gone. We only had to steal to survive." Ciaran pointed at Lux's injury.

"Alright, my prince. I shall obey you," Lux responded in a fancy tone. They all laughed, it was the first time Lux made anyone laugh that he remembered.

Tears soaked his blindfold, and he quickly wiped it away, but Ciaran saw it.

"Anything wrong?" Lux looked up to see Ciaran looking at him.

"No, nothing wrong. Just some yarn in my eye," Lux smiled.

"A YARN? You sure it didn't go in?!" Ciaran grabbed Lux's face and tried to take off the blindfold. Lux turned away, and Ciaran quickly understood.

"Oh sorry, personal space," Ciaran backed away.

Delia sat in the back, confused, but she ignored the question.

"Can I see it now?" Delia asked.

"No," Lux answered.

"See what?" Ciaran looked confused.

"His eyes, he always covers them!" Delia blurted out.

"Well, that isn't our problem. People hide things because it's a secret. Like your diary," Ciaran smirked at Delia.

"Hey!!" Delia protested.

Delia tried to hit Ciaran but ended up hurting herself.

"Hey, not fair!" Delia pulled Ciaran's hair.

"Stop, stop, stop! It hurts, alright?!" Ciaran tried to push Delia away.

Lux watched with a smile, thinking, 'When will I remember my family?'

Lux's hand brushed against the mask. He looked at it, pondering, 'What would happen if I wore it? Maybe nothing, it's just a mask. What would happen?'

Lux wore the mask, his eyes glowed yellow. Yet he felt nothing.

"WOAH! YOU HAVE AMBER EYES?!" Delia exclaimed as she saw Lux's eyes when they glowed.

Lux took off the mask and looked at it thoughtfully.

"To be honest, I also have no idea what my eye color is. But I know I am wearing this blindfold for a reason, and the reason is to hide it," Lux explained.

"Oh." Delia said. "But when can I see it?"

"One day, just one day. And you have to wait for it to come," Lux replied.
