The 100 : The duty of a leader

(Slow Pace) When he died, Leon wouldn't have imagined that he would have a second chance. A new world, a new life, stripped of memories of the past ,remembering only what he loved and nothing more, armed with nothing other than his guts and body , how will Leon survive in this world torn by nuclear war and ruled by primitive civilizations ? Note : I don't own The 100 or any other characters that may resemble in any kind of way any characters form various shows and games. If I were to say that I own something, that would be my idea of changing a world, but that's what fanfiction is ain't it?

Chapter 114 - The prisoner and the escapee

While Finn was knocked out, Zoe was still awake and before I could leave the room she lanced onto me once again, this time though a little bit stronger than before, clearly learning from her mistake.

"Don't be like that, Leon. Would you be a dear and wait patiently for a chip to come to you? Then we could all be without a worry."

"Yeah, thanks, but no thanks."

"A pity, I thought that using this girl would have got me your body as well."

"I take you aren't Zoe, right?"

"You are right. My designation is A.L.I.E."

"Meaning that the chips that Jaha gave around are in fact a way for you to control everyone…bloody sky net."

"I beg to differ, Leon. While I might have set the nukes to blow up cities and kill billions of people, I did it so that humanity could survive. Otherwise, humanity as you know it would have ceased to exist in a decade or so."

No matter how she sweetens it, this A. I was the reason the world ended. While she might have good intentions, the truth remains that she's the reason humanity has fallen so low. However, something is bothering me about how she looks at my body as if I was some kind of rare treasure. Unfortunately, for me, before I could say anything to her, the A. I that took over Zoe dragged me towards the door, attempting to open the door, alas to no result. Just as she was about to reach for the door handle, I hit her in the face with my head freeing me from her grasp, before grabbing the shock stick that I dropped the first time she "hugged" me.

"If you are still inside, please forgive me, Zoe."

Just as ALIE was about to react, I shocked her as much as the shock stick could unleash, before she fell to the ground without any sign of being conscious. Taking one last look at them, I shook my head before leaving the room. Either I was lucky or ALIE simply let me reach the main room because she laid a trap for me there, however, I didn't see anyone the whole way toward Wells. If that wasn't a flag for trouble then I don't know what that could be.

As if she read my mind, as soon as I walked into the control room, everyone, and by that, I mean everyone that was already inside the bunker or came with Jaha stood in the control waiting for me to arrive. While they weren't armed with lethal weapons, almost everyone had a shock baton or even a reaper sedative

"Is it that hard for you to accept the chip, Leon?"

"Please, A.L.I.E, it's not you, I'm the one that doesn't understand one thing."

For a second I swear I saw Abby's eyebrow rising before it quickly returned to normal, nevertheless, it seems that this AI wasn't exactly all-powerful as she think she was. Then again, she's an artificial intelligence and not a real human being thus making her even more predictable than a human.

"Tell me, Leon, what it would take for me to make you one of the believers?"

"I don't know, maybe not taking away my free will? Or my body?"

"You know that's not how this is working right?"

"A man has to take a chance, it's a gamble. In all honesty, let's just say that if I was to join your little band of believers, what would I get in return? "

To be fair I didn't expect that it would take even a second nevertheless a few seconds for A.L.I.E to find an answer and while I was sure that it would take her more than maybe a minute to find an answer thanks too all of the people that know me, there was no way in hell I would willingly become a puppet for an A. I no less.

By the time, A.L.I.E found an answer that would be quite good in her opinion I already made a plan of getting out of there without needing the control room to unlock any doors. Just before she could talk through Abby, I sprinted outside of the room right into the special area where the grounders were kept when Mount Weather was under the so-called US government. Standing over an open shaft, I gave her one last smile before jumping down, right into one of the carts that were left in the tunnels, escaping from the A. I for some reason would have loved to have my body.

Meanwhile, Clarke and her group pulled their rover to a stop in front of a familiar shack for all of the ex-delinquents. Sadly for them, Niylah wasn't exactly welcoming them with her hands wide open, instead, she was armed with a bow and a sword ready to defend her from the sky people, even if some of the were friends and acquaintances with her.

"I'll talk to her, guys. Just get Raven ready."

"I'll go with you, Clarke. While Niylah is a friend, she is still a grounder."

Octavia was the first one to open the Rover's back door open, swinging out of the vehicle so that the rest of her group could get out as well. When she saw the anger in Niylah's eyes, she turned back at Clarke with confusion.

"What have you done to her, Clarke? Niylah wouldn't usually look so angry even when she was treated harshly by the guards."

"She doesn't look too happy to see us."

"I'll handle her, so please until then just stay put in the rover."

While Clarke went to explain the situation to Niylah, Sinclair and Bryan carried Raven out of the Rover, while the rest of the group was watching the tree line for any possible "infected". Just as they thought that nothing would happen, Bryan's arm was caught by Rave's hand.

"Clarke! She's waking up, we have to get her inside!"

As soon as she heard Bryan's shout, Clarke plead with her eyes at her ex-lover and friend, alas to no result. The older woman wasn't going to help the people that had killed her father, even if they were friends once.

"Niylah, please."

"Clarke…I can't, your people killed my father! I can't just forget about it"

In a moment of despair and fear, Bellamy snapped out and before anyone could react, he pinned Niylah to the wall, holding her as tightly as he could, allowing everyone else to walk into Niylah's home without a problem.

"We don't have time to argue with her. Now move Raven inside!"

To Niylah's confusion, before Bellamy could drag her inside, a towering figure walked behind and grabbed him, pulling the older Blake back.

"That's not how we act Bellamy. Or have you forgotten what we did to traitors and people that act as you did just now?"

Bellamy shivered before he dropped his gun on the ground. Sergey picked it up before looking apologetically at the older woman, hoping that she wouldn't hold a grudge over what Bellamy had done to her.

Meanwhile inside the shack, Raven was starting to wake up, albeit a little bit fuzzy from how she passed earlier. Although she had a blindfold over her eyes, they were certain that A.L.I.E. won't stay put once she recover her control over Raven. Thankfully before Raven could completely wake up, Clarke picked up some rope beside her and followed Sinclair and Harper into the room with everyone else.

"Harper, Sinclair, help me tie her to the bed!"

Just as they laid her on the bed, Raven began fighting back. Clarke gave the rope in her hands to Harper and Monty, but before they could do anything, Raven ripped off her blindfold. It looked like she was examining the room for any information that could give help A.L.I.E find her location.

"Where the hell, am I? Untie me! Let me go!"

As Harper and Monty held Raven's arms in place, while Bryan and Miller held her legs, Sinclair and Octavia struggled to finish strapping down Raven's legs. The whole time Raven tried to fight back or squirm in bed, hoping that she would somehow untie herself. When they managed to get all of her limbs tied down and put some distance between them, Raven become even more volatile than before

"Let me go, I said !"

They all watched her struggle to move, but there was one thought in all of their heads at that moment.

"How the hell do we get that thing out of her head?"

"We are working on it, but it's not easy, Clarke."
