"Mmhg... Ah~" Ada walked off the bus and stretched her back before looking back to see Everette doing the same. She then decided to create some small talk.

"The ride here was pretty uneventful, huh?"

Everette nodded, "True, but we can't wait until we go back." They then began to lead the people towards the Cadel to notice a group of new faces talking to their people.

"I'm telling you that our leader should be back and will decide for us." Leyla stood at the front and communicated with the newcomers.

She then noticed us, along with a crowd of people arriving. She gave us a short wave before shifting the attention of the group to them.

"There they are. Do ask them what you asked me."

Ada approached the group and analysed their appearance. 2 male and 1 female. They were pretty "geared" out in the sense that they had some minimal amount of armour, unlike her group, even if it was mainly leather and fur.

'I should really create an armour-type Imprint.' She gave a thoughtful expression about the decision, saying, 'It would definitely be cool to wear a suit of armour.'

"Apologies for the wait, my visitors. I was out finding other survivors." She pointed back with her thumb. The girl of the group stepped forward before introducing herself.

"Ah, no worries, I am Lynda. And these are my two companions. We were actually doing the same as well." She had blonde hair tied into a ponytail. She then began to introduce the two men behind her. "This is Daniel." He had a brown bushy beard. "And this is Garette." He had brunette-coloured hair styled in dreadlocks.

Ada nodded in acknowledgement before introducing herself and Everette. "I am Ada, and this is MY best friend, Everette." She subtly emphasised the "My" bit of her sentence, but no one was able to catch on other than Everette, who seemed to just raise an eyebrow at it.

Lynda then began to repeat what she had said to Leyla before they arrived, "We are sent from our Faction to find other survivors to recruit into our ranks."

The word "Faction" sparked a flash of cautiousness in Everette's and Ada's eyes. "By faction... Do you mean one made by a Royal Participant? Or just a regular old faction?"

Lynda widened her eyes, "You're aware of factions? And yes, we mean that kind of faction." She then began to ask questions of her own.

"Are you guys perhaps in that kind of faction?"

"No, we aren't." Ada shook her head. While they're IN a "Faction," it wasn't the one Eden created yet. The first step in creating one is to think of a name; without one, it wouldn't be created.

'Such a dumb rule.' She complained about the system and felt she could hear the system sighing.

"Oh! I see! Would you like to join ours?" Lynda pushed out her hand for a handshake. "We can promise you that we treat every one of our members like family!"

Ada stared at it coolly before smiling. "Can you please give us some time to discuss it amongst ourselves?" Lynda nodded vigorously before being handed into Leyla's care.

Everyone in the chapel then welcomes the people from the Trinity in open arms. Some even began to form groups to go out and get them some levels.

Ada walked back to Everette before gesturing for him to get back on the bus. After approaching the bus, they found Patrick sitting outside the bus, checking it out with glitter in his eyes.

"You look like a kid in a sweet(candy) shop, Patrick." Everette snickered with a cheeky smirk before being shot a dismissive stare from Patrick.

"And you're a kid. What? So young that you can't appreciate a masterpiece that this bus is?"

"I am not that young!"

"Pfft!" Everette snuck a look at Ada, who was trying to hold in her laughter before sighing in relief.

"Huh!? So there is someone else with a class like yours, Ada?" All three of them had entered the bus a while ago and had begun their journey back to pick up the rest.

On the way, Ada and Everette informed Patrick about the recruiters who showed up at their doorstep.

Ada shrugged, "We're not sure for now. But we can assume that they're probably pretty strong, considering how well-geared these recruiters were."

Patrick and Everette nodded to her reasoning before falling silent. Everette wanted to inform how the cloaked individual they saw kidnap Coll was actually an Attendant before shaking his head.

'I'll say it when the gang is back together.'

After a bit of driving, they arrived back at Trinity and saw the crowd waiting at the front. Later, when everyone got on, Everette told Jack and Amelia about the visitors back.

Amelia's eyes widened in worry before looking towards Jack, who was massaging his forehead while murmuring under his breath. "Too soon..." Words like those could be heard from Jack's murmurs.

Everette sighed in conjunction, "It is... But it seems like we can't avoid participating in the Royal Succession—" Subsequently, after saying that, Ada injected herself into the conversation from behind Everette with a bewildered expression.

"Avoid it? Why?" She paused before continuing, "Didn't you want me to become a King, Everette? This is an opportunity for us to achieve that."

Everette's hand shook before slowly moving towards his mouth and popping out his thumb. He bit on the nail of his thumb with a stressed look. He hasn't partaken in this habit since the beginning of the apocalypse.

Ada recognised this habit and sighed before slowly reaching over to his hand. She gently grasped it with both hands before slowly moving it away from his mouth before comforting him.

"Don't worry, Everette. I promise you that WE'LL come out on top."

A determined glint passed through her eyes. Her body exuded the aura of confidence, which seemed to have affected Everette to the point that he stopped worrying temporarily before nodding his head.

'I hope we get through this Alive.'

Another chapter coming because I missed one yesterday!
