They stepped foot into the grounds and surveyed the area. Inside the trinity was a large lawn and a stone pavilion near its centre. There was a long path that continued onwards from the fence gate.

Everette then sighed as he caught a glimpse of something, "Oh great... More infected humans to kill." The group followed his stare and saw a group of infected humans huddling near a door to a building. They seem to keep at least a few metres away from it for some reason.

Ada shrugged nonchalantly, "You make it sound like it's a bad thing. More EXP for us, y'know?" Subsequently, after saying that, an arrow passed by her head and lodged itself onto the back of one of the infected.

The group turned to look at Jack, who was already assuming an aiming stance. He raised a brow, "I was going to do it anyway. Why not now?" Everyone nodded in agreement before preparing to face them head-on.

After a few slashes and arrows being passed out, as well as blunt trauma, they finally cleared them out. They neared the door and were suddenly met with a comforting sensation passing over them and an ambush by Eden.

The group widened their eyes before staring at the door. Ada walked over to the door and scrutinised its appearance. It was a well-polished wooden door with two glass panes parallel to each other on the door's upper half. Behind the glass, however, seems to be boarded up with wood planks.

She raised her hand and turned it so her knuckles faced the door before knocking. Her knocks resounded before being interrupted by the opening of the door and a head peering out of it.

"Did you guys find any supplies?!" A girl with long black hair and brown eyes greeted us with a confused look. "W-wait... We haven't met before, right?" Her eyes skimmed over the group before returning her stare towards the blonde girl.

Ada shook her head, "We came from outside of Trinity." The girl's eyes widened in shock. "R-really!? Do come in!" The girl led us inside the building. The entrance to the building had several white statues displayed against the walls on top of a podium.

"This is our Chapel. We were lucky enough to find a safe zone." The girl informed before stiffening and turning back around to face them. "I didn't introduce myself earlier; I'm Lilly Rendall."

Ada smiled with an amused look, "I'm Ada." She then began to introduce everyone in the group. "This is Everette, Jack, and Amelia." Lilly nodded and shook everyone's hand.

"Nice to meet you, Jack and Amelia." The two smiled and responded at the same time, ""Likewise."" Lilly then held out her hand towards Everette.

"And it's nice to meet you, Everette—" She held out her hand for a handshake before feeling an indescribable chill up her spine. Everette met her hand and shook it, "Same here." The feeling she felt intensified.

She quickly released her hand from Everette but chuckled nervously. She noticed a wound on Everette's shoulder, "Would you like to get that healed?"

Everette tilted his head, "Of course." She nodded and walked inside the Chapel, "Please follow me towards our first aid." The group nodded and followed after her.

The entrance to first aid had a white hanging curtain. This prevented those who entered the Chapel from being able to see through and be exposed to the wounded.

She pulled it to the side and walked in with a soft step. She turned back and placed an index finger onto her mouth before whispering:

"Do keep the noise to a minimum. We still have some wounded that are still resting."

The group entered through the curtain and widened their eyes at the sight. The left and right sides of the Chapel had approximately 19-20 hospital beds. Some of the beds were empty, while those who aren't were covered by a curtain, similar to how hospitals do them.

At the end, a kneeling figure was facing towards a cross that stood on a wooden desk. They had waist-long white hair and wore a stained white dress. Their hands were clasped before her, almost as if she was praying.

The kneeling figure sensed the noise of footsteps approaching them from behind. They stood up and patted away at their clothes. They turned around to reveal a girl with pale white skin and blue eyes. She was also quite beautiful, so coupled with her unordinary looks, she seemed otherworldly.

Lilly went up and stood beside her before introducing her to the group, "This is Alice Beneval, our healer." She spoke in a hushed tone to not disturb the rest of the wounded.

Ada nodded and introduced everyone again to her. As soon as she was about to introduce Everette, Alice walked past her and held out the palms of her hands towards his injured shoulder.

A mystical green aura enveloped her hand before detaching and clinging to his wound. Everette could feel the pain from it relieving before thoroughly numbing. The green aura then became more viscous and entered his wound.

He could feel it begin to close up, but he also thought that he was getting a bit tired from it. Alice, noticing his eyes drooping a bit, chuckled:

"My ability increases the target recovery time at the cost of their stamina depending on the injury." Everette nodded in understanding before raising a brow.

"Did you acquire a genetic nexus?" Alice scratched the back of her head with a sheepish look. She nodded, "I acquired it from a weird-looking mold."

Everette sat down and watched as his wound was repaired before his very eyes. "It's a convenient ability." She nodded with a smile, "It is... But I wish I could do more."

Everette stared at her with an encouraging smile, "You are doing more than you think. Some of the people you healed might've already been dead without you."

Alice smiled widely, "Thank you." As these two conversed with one another, a blonde figure on the side stared at the two with a cold look. She began muttering under her breath.

"Who told you you can get that close to him?" Fortunately, no one hears her murmur, but it seems like Ada perceives Alice as a threat to her goal of coveting what's hers...

I felt like Ada hasn't been as possessive enough recently. So~... I'm putting a reason here for her to be.
