The Next Test

After Tatsuya finished his test they took some time to repair the wall.

"Did I use too much magic... Nope. That's not my fault. I just tried to make my magic as compact as possible... That's it."

"No! That was definitely your fault. You used too much destructive power there."

"NO... Like I said, I only used very little magic!"

"No! No! No! I'm saying that your less magic was actually a lot!" Celestine and Tatsuya continue arguing.

"What are they even doing? His test is over already..."

"I don't why... But it's kinda funny."

"Yeah. Let them continue." Said the girls watching them argue.

"Ok! Now that the wall has been fixed all of you come here." Says Imryll-sensei and all the students go to her near the fixed wall.

"Now I'll create targets for everyone so that we can finish up this test as fast as we can."

"Okay sensei!" says everyone together.

"Tatsuya-kun. You can go for the next test if you don't want to stay here."

"Oh, Can I really though?"

"Yes. You've passed the first test so why not?"

"Alright! Then I'll get going then."

Then he walks towards the door in the corner of the tent. He opens the door while thinking-

"Why the hell is there a door in the tent? Well, doesn't matter."

Tatsuya suddenly reaches a place similar to a coliseum. He looks around and sees many people sitting in the audiences. Then he sees Sieg coming in from the other end looking all beaten up. Tatsuya waves his hand looking at Sieg. They both reach the centre of the coliseum and Sieg says-

"That was really life-threatening..."

"Was it that hard?"

"I don't know how to put it... We entered the tent and then we were suddenly in a forest with wild animals everywhere. A huge python attacked me from the back and I was busy beating the crap out of it..."

"How did you get hurt then?"

"Some idiots attacked me thinking it would be easy to remove me from competition."

"Well, you deserve it."

"Shut up, man. How did your test go?"

"As simple as it could be."

"You're lucky actually..."

"Why?"

"This is a semester where at least one person fails. And they'll do it indiscriminately."

"This isn't a test... It's an elimination right?"

"Do you know the purpose of this academy...? You're too stupid to know anyways. I'll tell you."

"I didn't even say anything yet..."

"The main purpose of us studying here is to become adventurers... Do you understand?"

"Adventurers, heh~... That's good right?"

"Yeah... Also why is there no one else here besides us?"

"I don't know. I just arrived here."

"Oh... people haven't yet cleared the first test yet it seems."

"Yeah. Probably... By the way, why aren't you using heal on yourself?"

"I'm too tired to do it!"

"What an idiot..." says Tatsuya and sighs. Then he places his palm on Sieg's shoulder and says, "Heal..."

After a few seconds Sieg gets healed completely and feels no pain at all.

"How much did you practice to master heal?"

"Practice? You don't need to if you can imagine it."

"Tch...Alright. Don't be full of yourself just because you can think a bit more than me."

"Ok...?"

After walking around for a while other students start to enter the coliseum one by one. After 18 students enter the coliseum the doors through which they had entered disappears.

"Oho! It looks like only 20 of you could make it through! Doesn't matter... Now everyone will fight the others... You can fight however you want with whomever you want to... There is no time restriction and the only thing you're not allowed to do is to kill your opponent..."

The students still look a bit confused but Sieg on hearing this punches Tatsuya and sends him flying into the nearby wall.

"Don't stand in my way!"

"Oh! Shut up!" says Tatsuya while getting up and rubbing off the rubble from his shoulders.

Then he leaps towards Sieg with a flaming fist and when he punches Sieg a big gust of wind develops around them. Tatsuya says-

"How about we team up for the time being?"

"I don't like the idea of teaming up with you but... when only the both of us are remaining... You better fight me!"

"You got it!" says Tatsuya and throws Sieg up in the air. Then he grabs Sieg's feet and throws him in the direction of a duo charging towards them.

Sieg punches them both while moving like a jet. He used the wall like a trampoline and then flies towards a dangerous looking guy. The guy sees him coming at full speed and his eyes widen. Sieg with his fist aimed at the student could not dodge since that was his only disadvantage at that moment. The student he was charging at grabs his head mid-air and puts it in the ground. A small crater forms when he does so. Tatsuya sees the crater and smiles with excitement. While 5 people charged towards him he says-

"Interesting!" and makes Thunder drop on all of them.

They all get burnt and fall to the ground. Tatsuya now dashes towards the same guy who defeated Sieg and he summons three different elements at once. One big orb of fire levitates on his back and as he dashes towards the student a strong gust of wind follows him.

"Hm?"

"Hey, how is he using three elements at once?!"

"We've got a new headline!"

"Take this.... Original magic: Tri-hurricane!" and he launches both the elements in his face. Then he makes thunder fall on the hurricane making it really dangerous for anyone to be near it.

All the three elements merge and form a huge flaming thunder hurricane. Tatsuya grabs Sieg and kicks the other student into the hurricane. He screams while being pulled into the hurricane and then his voice disappears. Suddenly after a few seconds the hurricane acts weirdly and then laser like beams starts to escape out of the hurricane. All the students near it where hit by those lasers. The lasers pierced their arms and legs and they started to scream. Tatsuya dashes towards all the hurt students and punches them into the wall.

6 to 7 were injured and Tatsuya punches them into the wall so that they don't get hit by the lasers in their vitals.

As soon as they lose their consciousness they levitate and go to the audience's seat for healing. The hurricane then became smaller and smaller and then vanished. The student inside the hurricane survived with minor injuries and he said while laughing-

"Hahahahaha! I never knew that my kouhai this year had so much potential!"

"Kouhai? So are you our senpai?!"

"That's right! I was put in this test to see how strong you people are but now that you've riled me up... Looks like I can't hold back!"

Then he floats and nods his head at another student. The student whom he looked at nods his head in affirmative and then the student says-

"Wind magic: Full speed...repression." and then he reaches the other end of the coliseum.

All the people in the coliseum except Tatsuya, Sieg and the student floating in front of him were down.

"What the...! Alright Sieg... Time to get up from your beauty sleep. Heal!" says Tatsuya and heals Sieg.

Sieg gets down from Tatsuya's back and says-

"Now I feel refreshed! Time to kick some ass..."

"Bug slayer..."

"Stop calling me that! I know what you're about to say..."

"Good! I'll take on this ba*tard then." Says Tatsuya and then he dashes toward the floating man holding his hand like a knife.

They trade blows with one another and crash into the ground. Then Tatsuya wipes the blood of his lip and asks him while getting up,

"Senpai! What is your name...?"

"Mine...? You better remember it later on... It's Dachio Estielles!"

"Dachio? Weird name..."

"It's not weird! Now are you ready... We'll fight as fellow A-class students... or should I say Abnormal class students?!"

"Did he just say that he was Dachio?! That's the kid from the second year!"

"Yeah! You're right! Isn't that against the rules though...?"

Then Edel shouts through a loudspeaker at Dachio-

"You idiot!" and the voice rings in everyone's ears.

"My head! What's the big deal old man?!" says Dachio while shouting at Edel.

"Why did you give away your identity?! Now, everyone knows!"

"Not my problem..." says Dachio and faces Tatsuya.

"Now let's continue... Ryo Tatsuya!"

"Stop ignoring me, you punk. Don't make me come down there!" and then Edel starts to cough up blood.

"What was all that about?"

"Doesn't matter right now..." says Dachio and then suddenly something flies behind Dachio and crashes into the wall.

"Hm...?" says Tatsuya and after the dust clears he sees Sieg in the wall.

"Bug slayer!"

���You shouldn't be looking at others when you have an opponent in front of you..." says Dachio from behind Tatsuya and punches Tatsuya into the wall as well.

He lands on Sieg and then the audiences all look intently at the fight.

"Sieg I can only heal you one last time..."

"I don't need it... At least right now."

"What's the plan? They're too strong..."

"I have an idea... I don't know if it will work though..."

The dust clears and Sieg and Tatsuya rushed towards the student with wind magic.

"It won't work... Didn't I tell you already?"

Then Sieg kicks Tatsuya at that student and the student seemed taken aback. Tatsuya then says while smiling-

"Take this! White dragon's roar!" and a huge white beam of light engulfs the wind user...

After using the white dragon's roar Tatsuya lands on the ground and all the people watching them fight look shocked on seeing the burnt student fall down.

Sieg then smiles at Tatsuya and says-

"Now, let's take out Damnachio as well! Tatsuya!"

"Let's do it!"

Dachio lands on the ground and takes a deep breath. Then Tatsuya takes a deep breath as well and so does Sieg.

Few moments earlier in the dust,

"Now's a good chance to try out that new skill... what was it called again?"

"Carnage..."

"Sounds pretty harmful..."

"Yeah I know. But I don't know how to use it. I mean I've tried using it but it didn't work..."

"Hm... This is just a theory but maybe you need external magic to use carnage..."

"No time to think! The dust is clearing!"

"So you doing it or what?!"

"There's only a fifty-fifty percent chance for our survival... Gotta bet it all on that! Skill: Borrow... and now... Skill: Carnage..." when Tatsuya says this the white light around him shines on Sieg as well and he says-

"I can still use my dragon slaying magic!"

"So can I... Weird... Wait a second! We will first take out that wind user..."

"How?"

"Just follow my lead..."

Both Sieg and Tatsuya say while releasing a white beam at Dachio-

"WHITE DRAGON'S ROAR!"

Dachio then releases a black beam and says-

"IRON DRAGON'S ROAR!"

All the three beams clash together and Sieg and Tatsuya keep pushing with all the strength and magic they had left. Dachio does the same. Dachio then has the upper hand and just when they were about to lose Tatsuya looks at Sieg and makes a gesture of apology. Sieg looks confused on seeing Tatsuya apologize.

Then Tatsuya breathes out and says-

"I'm still weak... Skill: Assassinate!" and moves like lightning and punches Dachio with everything he had and he shouts-

"HYAAAAA! YOU'RE FINISHED!" And he crashes his head into the floor creating a massive crater that destroys the entire floor of the coliseum.

With Dachio unconscious they had won the battle. When Tatsuya had used Assassinate he still got hit by the iron dragon's roar. Immediately after winning he drops on the ground unconscious.

Everyone cheers and whistle at them. Sieg out of exhaustion sits on the ground and gasps for breath.

"What ...kinda monster... are you? You idiot..."
