chapter 10 - chakra nature!!

The next morning, Naruto gets ready to meet up with Kakashi-sensei. He heads to Kakashi's house, thinking, "It looks like Kakashi-sensei is home; he must have finished his mission." Naruto knocks on the door, and Kakashi opens door, looking at Naruto.

"What now, Naruto! Can't you play without disturbing me?" Kakashi asks.

Naruto responds, "Kakashi-sensei, I want to learn ninjutsu."

Kakashi replies, "You've already learned some. You've mastered the Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu and other chakra basics. What more do you want to learn now?"

Naruto insists, "That's not enough. I want to learn Nature Release Jutsu."

Kakashi sighs, "Naruto, you've got ages to learn this. You're still a kid. What are you going to do with this jutsu? Don't tell me you're planning to bully other kids."

Naruto replies, "No, I just want to learn ninjutsu. I'm not going to bully anyone. Why would I do that?"

Kakashi tries to dissuade Naruto, but Naruto keeps insisting. Finally, Kakashi sighs and gives in. Naruto then tells Kakashi, "Sensei, I've invented a new jutsu! I want to show it to you!"

Kakashi, intrigued, asks, "Is that true? Don't lie to me! If you're lying, I won't teach you ninjutsu."

Naruto assures him, "It's true."

Kakashi and Naruto go to a training area. Kakashi asks Naruto to show him the jutsu. Naruto brings his hands together and creates a mini-Rasengan. Kakashi is shocked.

"It's a Rasengan! Who taught you this jutsu? How did you learn it so quickly?" Kakashi asks.

Naruto replies, "No one taught me. I created it using the Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu. I concentrated chakra rotation using the clones, and that's how I learned it so quickly."

Kakashi is impressed. "Well, Naruto, there's a similar technique called Rasengan, but it's bigger than yours. Yours is small by comparison, but I'm impressed."

Naruto asks, "Can you give me advice on how to increase its size?"

Kakashi replies, "It's a dangerous jutsu. I can teach you later. For now, I'll teach you Nature Release Jutsu."

Kakashi goes somewhere and returns with papers. He asks Naruto, "What Nature Release Jutsu do you want to learn?"

Naruto replies, "I want to learn Fire Release Jutsu."

Kakashi shakes his head. "No, Naruto. First, you have to know about your chakra nature."

Naruto asks, "Why can't I just learn any jutsu?"

Kakashi explains, "No, Naruto. If you learn a jutsu that matches your chakra nature, you can learn others later. It's hard, even for grown-ups. Keep that in mind."

Naruto stays silent. Kakashi shows Naruto the paper and starts explaining, "Naruto, you have to hold this paper and focus your chakra into it. Depending on the effect on the paper, we'll know your chakra nature.

Kakashi explaines- if chakra nature is

- Fire: The paper will burn or crisp.

- Wind: The paper will tear or rip.

- Lightning: The paper will wrinkle or crumple.

- Earth: The paper will turn to dust or become brittle.

- Water: The paper will become damp or curl slightly."

Kakashi focuses his chakra into the paper, and it wrinkles. "Look, Naruto, my chakra nature is lightning, so the paper wrinkles. Now, try to focus your chakra into this paper."

Naruto holds the paper and focuses his chakra. The paper tears. Kakashi tells him, "It looks like your chakra nature is wind. Well, you can start learning Wind Release Jutsu."

Naruto says, "Okay."

Kakashi continues, "I'll teach you a wind style jutsu called Wind Style: Gale Palm. I don't use this jutsu often; it's not my style. But with your wind affinity, you can easily learn it."

Naruto thinks, "Does Kakashi-sensei know Wind Style: Gale Palm? Wow! I never saw him use this in the anime. Well, he is a copy ninja. He must have copied it from someone. Who knows, he might also know forbidden jutsu."

Excitedly, Naruto asks, "Teach me! Teach me!"

Kakashi explains the jutsu, "To learn Gale Palm, you have to learn wind manipulation. Channel the wind chakra to your hands, typically focusing it into your palms. By controlling the flow and direction of the chakra, create a compressed pocket of wind energy. With a final push of chakra, release the compressed wind energy from your palms. This rapid release creates a powerful gust of wind that projects forward. The strength and size of the wind gust depend on your chakra reserves and skill level. A more skilled user can create a more powerful and focused gust. The jutsu can be used in quick succession, making it a good option for maintaining pressure on an opponent. It's a simple jutsu, but you can easily learn it."

Following Kakashi's instructions, Naruto creates 100 clones to practice the jutsu. Kakashi thinks, "Naruto has easily grasped the shadow clone shared experience method. It looks like he'll master this technique in no time."

Naruto starts practicing, and by the end of the evening, he succeeds in using Wind Style: Gale Palm. He tries to ask about Rasengan, but Kakashi advises, "You have time. You can learn that another time. Just practice this jutsu efficiently."

Naruto goes home and continues practicing the Wind Release Jutsu.
