Mother's Rescue Mission

I ran as fast as I could, the distance kept getting closer as I ran towards the Direction that Millis gave me.

Seeing the surroundings as I ran, I'm sure I was heading deep inside the Forest beside our town.

The forest I used to practice my Haki Skills.

The forest of Emma, A pretty vast forest which is located at the center of two towns. Nero Town and Lindon Town, Where my father's relatives reside.

After running for several minutes, I finally closed the distance. Millis told me the location of my mother, As I headed deep in the forest. A midsized cave was seen, The path inside the cave leads to an underground, Based on my Analysis skill.

But I was so worried about my Mother's condition and just went inside the cave without thinking.

As I walked inside the dark damp cave, I couldn't see a thing.

Since it was too dark for any normal human's vision.

So I then used my Creation Skill to make a torch, Then I continued heading downwards where the Pathway leads to.

As I took every step, The uneasiness feeling inside me grew stronger. I couldn't think properly, I kept imagining bad things happening towards my Mother. My intuition tells me not to worry so much, But I couldn't help it since it's my mother we're talking about.

After walking, following the entire Pathway. I finally reached the bottom floor.

'Hey Millis, Can you sense other presence along with my mother?'

"Yes, there are three more individual besides your mother, Two are awakened Intermediate mana users."

'Okay got it.'

Then I tried to sneak so I don't get noticed, Then I saw a wooden door at the end of the pathway.

So I quietly crouched as I head towards the Wooden door infront of me.

Before I could reach the wooden door, I heard some voices talking with each other.

'Hey, what should we do to her? Isn't our mission to kidnap the child?'

'Yeah Captain! Vice Captain is Right, why did we instead kidnapped this woman?'

'Listen to me you pipsqueaks, Marshall was already on that kid's tail. That's why we did some countermeasures, If Marshall failed I'm sure they'll be looking for this woman.'

'Okay Captain, so what should we do to this woman? Hehe, It's getting boring waiting here all the time. She's very beautiful ain't I right, Rookie? Keke!'

'Yeah, Vice Captain is right. We should enjoy ourselves first with her Keke! Looking at those beautiful white skin of hers makes me feel hot. Such a lucky guy, That Baron luke! Keke!'

As I head those words, I felt very angry. I could not define what expression I was making but one thing's for sure, I was really ready to kill those bastards.

I could not hear my mother's voice along them, I guess she's currently unconscious. How dare they!

'A loud slap was heard coming from inside, Look at this fine looking thighs! Keke!'

After hearing those, I suddenly snapped. I couldn't get a hold of myself any longer. I rushed to open the door, And what I saw infront of me was my mother Lying on the ground tied between her hands and feet, While two individuals who were covered in black cloth was standing infront of my unconscious mother while the other one was touching her thighs.

Seeing them disrespect my mother that much, Got me riled up and immediately sharpened my Haki.

Before they could speak, The one on the ground touching my mom immediately got cut into pieces. As blood splattered all around the entire area, His body parts were also scattered around after getting hit by my Blade Haki.

The two remaining individuals stood infront of me, unable to move.

'Hey, Captain? Wha--What just happened to Vice Captain? Did he really die!?'

'I couldn't see a thing! How could he get cut into pieces just like that!?'

The two remaining kidnappers, The Captain and the Rookie was surprised seeing their comrade getting cut into pieces infront of them.

And Ofcourse they couldn't see what happened, Since Haki, is pretty much invisible to others. Only I can see my Haki.

So I started walking towards my mother, while the blood of the kidnapper that I killed covered her dress.

'Ca-Ca-Captain! He's coming, do something!'

The Captain stood there, didn't do anything. He knew that he couldn't kill me even if he used magic.

Before the Rookie could speak again, I cut his head with Blade Haki. I was getting really angry and disturbed on how he was so loud.

Blood came out showering from his neck while his body fell unto the ground as his head flew at the back.

The Captain, trembled in fear seeing his comrades die one by one. He stumbled infront of me and fell on the ground.

As I got closer towards her, I saw my mother's face. I clearly saw a small bruise at her cheeks. That's when I got really angry.

'You shit heads. How dare you touch my mother!'

As I spoke, I couldn't hold in my anger as my Haki let loose.

The captain felt the immense aura, The feeling of being choke by his throat, the feeling of uneasiness, The feeling of approaching death's door. That's the only thing he could feel right now as he looked up towards me standing infront of him with an utterly angry expression.

'Kah--I'm Sorry! Pl--Please! I can't breathe!'

As the Captain grabbed his neck, while begging for me to release my Haki.

But it was already to late, I was really gonna kill them now for touching my mother.

So I didn't waste any time hearing him beg for his life, I immediately cut his head without waiting for his second words.

The head flew while the blood scattered all over the floor. The entire area, the entire floor, was completely covered in blood. My mother, who I thought was unconscious, was looking at me expressionless when I turned around after killing the last individual.

I panicked, Seeing my mother saw me killing the last guy.

'Son, what have you done?'

'Mother, I--I'm--'

'Don't worry about it, I know you did this for me.' As she smiled while covered in blood.

All my worries fled in an instant, I was really glad that my mother was safe. So I immediately untied her and we headed back towards the surface.

My mother told me as we walked, She said she heard everything. She was only pretending to be unconscious, She knew how her son killed those bad guys, But She didn't asked me why I killed them Brutally, And didn't asked on what kind of ability I used to kill them.

So I just listened to her words, while we headed back home.

After several minutes, we finally reached our house.

My father was at the front door sitting while wearing an expressionless face.

As soon as he saw two shadows infront of him, He lifted his head and saw mother covered in blood, and His Son.

Father didn't speak, but immediately hugged my mother as tightly as possible and he begged for forgiveness and kept saying sorry as tears fell from his eyes. He didn't ask what had happened, why we were covered in blood. All he did was thanked us that we finally returned safely.

My mother cried and said that it was okay, and told my father that he doesn't need to apologize.

Seeing them all get dramatic made me feel relieved. I'm finally glad that everything's been settled.

Then we headed inside our house, me and my mother changed our clothes since it got blood all over it, After that, We ate dinner and had conversations. But my Mother didn't tell my father on what I did, She altered the story of me quietly knocking the kidnappers out. So after hearing my mother's words, My father immediately stood up and switched to his immature side. Yeah, We all know what's coming up next.

He continued to brag about how awesome I was until we finished eating...

Some time passed, And I was already at bed. I thought about earlier, How did I manage to kill them without hesitation. If I was at my previous life, Could I have done the same? Killing them without feeling guilt.

"Notice, Cannot find specific answer."

'I didn't ask you about it. But anyways, thanks for helping me out, Millis.'

"You're welcome."

Then As night passed, I fell asleep without knowing..

The next day I woke up, My mother was reading some books on the study hall, My father called me out after knowing I woke up.

Then we met at the back yard of our house, and sat down below the tree.

'Hey son, I won't ask if you don't want to tell me okay? I'm just thankful that you brought back your mother safely.'

'Father...'

'Your mother didn't tell me anything, I know she's hiding something. For the past few years, I didn't teach you how to fight nor anything related to self defense. But I'm still curious, even though I know something happened.'

'Father, I know what your curious about. And yes, You didn't teach me any combat techniques nor anything related when it comes to fighting. I also didn't awaken as a mana user. What I tell you might shock you.'

'Don't worry, If your mother handled it, I could also too.'

So I told my father about how I found mother at an underground cave at the middle of the forest, I hid the part where Millis was partly involved on finding mother. Then I told him about how the Kidnappers were talking on kidnapping me for the sole purpose of interrogating the Curry's recipe out of me. My father listened quietly, He didn't asked nor questioned to what I've said, He just sat down and stared at me while listening to all of what I'm saying. I told father that the kidnappers were planning something to mother and that's when I got really pissed. I didn't tell him the part which I had Haki, I altered the entire story differently. I made up some few things on how I took down and killed the Kidnappers, I also added that I secretly practiced swordsmanship on the past few years, While not getting caught by him and mother. After telling him the Altered story, My father stood up.

He smiled and said that he was really glad that his sword practices made me motivated on secretly practicing swordsmanship.

'With a pretty face like yours son, And with your hidden skills. You'll grab every girl's heart around you! Haha!

I smiled at father, even knowing that I just made up the whole swordsmanship story. But the thing I was surprised wasn't about that, It was how he acted As if I didn't kill the Kidnappers. Killing someone is really a heavy sin to burden. But after all what I've told him, He didn't asked nor got surprised after hearing that I killed the Kidnappers.

My father then decided to get some trustworthy guards to protect mother incase this kind of incident happens again.

So we then continued talking while laughing at each other.

Mother smiled as she saw us and heard everything about what we've talked about while she sat near the window of the study hall.

Then we continued running Luna's curry. Mr. Diego came back with someone and brought the contract, Then after few months passed by. The other branches were already finished, So Mr. Diego's men came and we supplied them alot of Curry. I soon came to realize that I should now tell father the Recipe upon producing curry. A few months before, After making my first Curry. I tried to create the Curry powder with my Creation Skill. I couldn't completely make it properly, Lacking the knowledge of the ingredients, It tasted bland after getting used to make Curry.

So Millis gave a suggestion, She said that Creating Curry powder would be hard. How about Creating the Curry powder which was made by the food makers of my previous life. So that gave me an Idea, Instead of making the exact Curry powder, I tried making the ones that are wrapped up and was already branded, The australian Curry powder I usually bought at the market at my previous life. Since I knew the exact taste of it, And how it looked like. Since on my previous world, I usually taste the Curry powder after opening it before mixing it. Then that's how I succeeded on making Curry powder. After memorizing the taste and the texture, I finally massed produce the Curry powder unto a big container. Then All I had to do was teach father on how to make curry by using this curry powder.

After several days passed, Father succeeded on making Curry. He asked me if it was alright to hire some of his trusted men into the business as well. Since It was already the end of summer, Next month I'll be sent to the Academy to study. So there'll be some problems if only father knew how to cook. Having to supply alot of branches would really take a toll on him. So that's when I agreed, Since father had alot of Trusted friends with him. Then Finally, I got some free time. So I continued to practice on my Haki Skills, Then millis told me that I should practice swordsmanship. Since father might ask for a spar, And if he knew that my Swordsmanship was bad He'll doubt that the story I told him was all made up.

So I tried Making swords fitting to my size, And practiced alongside Millis's instructions.

"Notice."

"Sword Arts, Acquired."

'What the heck? Is it for real?'

"Notice, Sword Arts: A Passive skill which would define your swordsmanship level. Current Stage, Beginner."

'So If I practiced archery? I'll be able to get Bow Arts?'

"Notice, Possible."

That's when I got motivated upon learning with different kinds of weaponry before the end of summer...

Before the end of the month, I finally obtained dozen skills thanks to the free time I had.
