Finally! Winder City!

The Goblins pulled out their weapons, Some were using axe, hammer, swords and daggers.

It was my first time seeing an actual Goblin.

They could communicate with each other, But all they say is Kikikik. I can't understand at all..

'Impossible, How come there are Goblins here at Lugia's Grasslands!?' My uncle was shocked upon seeing the Goblins circled around us.

'When I passed through Lugia's Grasslands before, I'm sure there were no Goblins. Yet now, How come they appear out of nowhere? It's impossible for monsters to come inside Emperium without getting noticed.'

'I don't know too uncle, This is actually my first time seeing a Goblin.'

'Yes me too, Back at Aldien there are no Goblins to be seen. Only stories were all I heard coming from Adventurers at Aldien.'

I guess Goblins really don't show up like this all of the sudden, What might be the reason? Anyways, first we should kill them before they get us.

The Goblins made strange noises and looked at each other.

Then the Goblins upfront started rushing towards us.

"Notice, Blade Haki will be activated."

'Wait! Stop! I think I should use Excalibur, This is the perfect opportunity for me to train.'

"Okay..."

Then As the Goblins got closer, I swung my mighty Excalibur infront of them, Then Rumbling sounds occured as Excalibur released Lightning from the Tip of it's blade.

Directly hitting the Goblins that were infront of me.

The Two Goblins that directly got hit at the Chests, burned to crisp as a hole was dug in their chests.

The Goblins started making strange noises again and attacked all together.

'Uncle, Behind you!'

Uncle Jin showed his dominating prowess, He overwhelmed the Goblins that were at his side immediately, As he swung his sword, Blood were scattered all around. Every swing he made, Gravely injured the Goblins that rushed towards him.

Seeing his actions made me realize that he was really among of the Knights of Rounds. His talent at swordsmanship isn't to be belittled with. Seeing him Swing his sword at a fast pace, It was like dancing.

Hailey on the other hand was still inexperienced when it came to actual fighting.

She used Wind spells to make the Goblins rushing towards her unable to move, Though she was pretty good at disabling their movements, But she was still too hesitant to kill. I guess, she does feel guilt since she's really a ten year old girl.

'Luna, Stop dozing around and focus!' As my Uncle yelled.

'Sorry!'

So then I started fighting seriously, Using the Lightning strikes were pretty hard, So I didn't use it as much. Moving targets were completely hard to hit. So I fought them closely and predicted their next moves by watching their shoulders and feet, And I was able to deflect their attacks and made counter attacks too. After the long battle, It finally ended. Uncle Jin killed the Goblins that Hailey crippled. Seeing Hailey, She seemed to be scared to kill.

I guess it's a normal thing, Unlike me.

I'm the weird one anyway...

'This is something new, I never thought that I would actually fought Goblins inside Emperium.' As Uncle wiped the blood at his sword.

'Something must have happened, If monsters were seen from here, It'll cause a major panic to the Citizens.'

'Yes you're right luna, I should report this to the Higher ups when we reach Winder City.'

Just to make sure, we stabbed the goblins bodies that were lying at the ground.

Since they were able to communicate, They should be able to pretend dead since they're species with intellect.

After we finished checking the corpses, we tried to gather some of their equipments.

Their weapons were all rusty, I guess they didn't have any proper weapons back at their home.

'Millis, Can you detect anything suspicious? Where do you think this Goblins came from?'

"Notice, Cannot detect anything, Cannot answer."

'Oh well, We'll soon find out anyway. For now we should rest.'

'Luna, Hailey, I'll take it from here. It's still in the middle of the night. You both should rest, I'll guard for the night.'

'Okay thanks uncle.'

'Okay Sir Jin.'

"Notice, Activating Danger zone protocol."

'What the heck is that?'

"The authorization for protecting the Host from any sorts of danger while being unconscious."

'Oh, Okay...'

So then, Me and Hailey slept for the night...

And Uncle guarded us the entire night without sleeping...

Time passed, And we continued our journey to Winder City.

After sleeping another night at Lugia's Grasslands, We didn't encounter any monsters. The next day we continued traveling again.

After some time passed, We finally reached Winder City.

'I can see Winder City from here guys!' As Uncle yelled happily.

As I came out of the Carriage, I saw huge tall walls covering the entire City.

It was like an Impregnable fortress, Cannons, Crossbows were placed at the top of the Walls. Guards were walking around at the top, And a Huge statue of a Lion was at the Center of the two gates that represents the Exit and Entrance at our direction for Winder City.

It was a sight to behold, A truly elegant scenery which any fantasy kingdom weebs would love to see.

As our horse carried our carriage gently, we finally reached the entrance of Winder City.

The Lion statue was extremely large, It had Silver color along with red gems intact at the Lion's forehead. The Double door Gates were also tall and wide. Soldiers, Acting us guards were gathered at the Entrance.

They were checking every human along with the things that they've brought whether it be from the carriages or luggages.

I guess you could say it was a Check point.

After some people were finished, It was finally our turn.

The Guard checked our carriage and asked Uncle if what would we do inside Winder City.

'I am currently escorting this two.' As uncle presented Me and Hailey.

'They'll be attending Freedom Academy.' He said.

The Guard stared at us with a suspicious look on his face, Then he nodded.

'Come in, You pass.' As the Guard said.

Then I sighed out of relief, since he looked at us with a weird expression.

After that, we finally got inside Winder City, Food stalls, accessory stalls, weaponry stalls were gathered at the streets.

The paved streets with Abstract brick designs covered the entire floor of Winder City.

Lanterns powered by mana, was constructed at every corner of the streets. It was really one of the four Capital Cities of Emperium, Nero and Lindon can't be compared to Winder City when it comes to architectural designs.

'You two, I'll bring you first at the Academy for your enrollment. Then I'll head towards the Military to inform them what we've encountered at Lugia.'

Uncle then brought us to the Academy which we're supposed to be enrolled at, The Freedom Academy.

The Academy that doesn't distinguish other races indifferently.

Long tall fences covered the entire Academy from the outside, A huge gate with the Academy's symbol was infront of us.

Two guards, who opened the gates for us as we entered the Academy.

Grass and trees covered the sides while a long pathway was found at the middle.

We then walked at the Pathway that leads to the Academy's building.

It was a three story building, A very large one. Guessing from the looks of it, It had over fifty classrooms or more.

Uncle then brought us to the Enrollment office. Beautiful white tiles covered the entire floor as we entered the building, It had nice and gentle interior texture.

After walking around, we finally reached the Enrollment office.

An Old man that had white hair, wrinkles on his face and had a gentle look welcomed us.

'Duke Luther! It's an honor to meet you here.' As my Uncle bowed infront of the Old man.

'Well if it isn't our star rookie, The seventh Knight of rounds. What brings you here, At the Academy?'

'I'm here to enroll my nephew and his friend. Luna, Hailey. Come introduce yourselves, This is the Principal of the Academy and also the Duke of Winder City, Duke Luther Jamieson'

A principal and the Duke? A truly High ranking man.

'It's a pleasure to meet the Duke of Winder and the Principal of the Academy. My name Is Luna Jeager, Son of Luke and Wendy Jeager.'

'It's also a pleasure to meet you Duke Luther. I'm Hailey Devon, An Elf from Entel City of Aldien.'

Entel? I guess that's Hailey and Auntie Diane's hometown.

'Well I hope we get along well kids, We accept anyone who are very eager to learn. Now follow me so that I could lead you to your dorms while you wait for the Classes to start.' As Duke Luther spoke.

'You two make sure to behave okay? I'll be processing your papers here at the Enrollment office, And I'll head out to the military. I'll be back later before I go back to Emperium Capital.'

'Okay uncle, Thankyou.'

Then we followed the Principal as he led us to another building at the back. We passed through a beautiful garden at the middle, And I noticed that It wasn't just a Single three story building.

There were two more large buildings at the back. Pillar structures were seen connected throughout the three buildings forming a huge cross like covered pathway in the middle of the garden.

The Principal, Duke Luther led us towards the Building at the Right side, It was supposedly the Dorms for the Students of Freedom Academy.

As we went to the Building, Other students were also seen after we entered, Elves and humans that were having conversations were seen at the Corridors of the Dormitory.

'Listen Luna and Hailey, When School starts you'll be given two choices to choose from. Whether you'll be learning about Mana Class or Combat Class.' As the Principal explained.

'Mana Class, or Mana Manipulation will be taught to the Students to improve their Mana Manipulation Control. You'll be taught all about the basics and foundation of Mana. While the Combat Class, Is mostly dedicated to Swordsmanship, Archery and Spearmanship. You will be taught all about Weapon Proficiency, Combat techniques, whether it'll be barehanded or with weaponry.'

Combat Class and Mana Class huh? I guess the awakened ones goes to the Mana class. I guess I'll be taking the Combat Class.

'Okay Duke Luther, We'll think about which Class we'll be taking. Thankyou for informing us.' As I bowed with gratitude infront of the Duke.

Hailey also bowed along with me.

'No need to call me Duke inside the Academy, Hierarchy is forbidden here. Using your status to gain the upper hand is also not allowed, Which will lead you to expulsion if disobeyed. So call me Principal when we're at the Academy.'

'Okay principal.'

Then Principal Luther left us at our dorm...

Wait....

He left us?

Does he mean that we'll be staying together!?

Me, and Hailey? In the same room?!

.....

'Um, Luna. I'll be heading out now. The Principal told me that my room will be at the end of the Corner. Where the Girls dorm is located.'

'Ohh...Okay...'

'Bye luna! See you later.'

Then, my wicked fantasies about sleeping in the same room with a beautiful lady like Hailey shattered.

Oh well, I guess I'll just have to check my room.

So as I opened the wooden door infront of me, A creak sound occured.

Red furry carpet covered the floor of the room alongside with the Antique Interior Design texture.

Two beds were laid at the corner, A desk and chair was placed infront of it. A Cabinet was also placed near the window and the other Cabinet was placed near the bed at the left corner.

The bathroom was located beside the front door.

So I went inside and looked around, checking the surroundings was the first thing that came up to me.

Then after several minutes of sightseeing in my dorm room.

I noticed that the other Cabinet was already filled with clothes.

I guess they give free clothes to Students here to wear.

*Creak*

The door opened.

'WHAT ARE YOU DOING YOU THIEF!?' As a Boy appeared out of nowhere.

'Wha-- What do you mean thief?'

The boy suddenly rushed towards me and tried to attack me.

"Notice, Activating Bl---"

'Stop!!!!! Don't activate!'

"....."

As the Boy got closer, I got a better look at him.

He had long ears, Probably an elf. Had beautiful light blonde hair, and Sharp eyes along with gentle looks.

He tried to punch me on the face as he got closer, But I already predicted his movements as I saw his shoulders, I grabbed his hand and threw him into the Ground.

*Baaam!*

'Ow. That hurts.' As the boy spoke with a hurt expression.

'Calm down. I'm not a Thief, I'm gonna stay here. I'm also going to this Academy.'

'Oh, Then why were you touching my Cabinet?'

'I thought it was free clothes given by the Academy. Sorry.' As I scratched my head giving off an Awkward expression.

'Hahaha! Free clothes you say? Haha, You're funny. I like you!'

'Thanks hehe, My name is Luna, Luna Jeager. You can call me Luna.'

'Okay, Lulu! I'm Kiba, Kiba Elzeth. I'll be in your care!'

'Lulu huh? -___-'

'Yes Lulu, You can call me Lord Kiba if you want.'

'I'll just call you Kiba. I'll arrange my things first.'

'Why aren't you laughing at my joke? Is your sense of humor broken?'

After that, Kiba didn't stop talking.

He continued spouting nonsense, trying to make me laugh.

Meanwhile I was sorting out my clothes from my luggage and arranged everything.
