It is a regular bed of thorns and we have to perform the duties assigned to us, duties to our family, to our neighbours, to our country, to the human race, and last, but not least to God who ‘made in us in his own image. Man is born to struggle, ‘By the sweat of thy brow shall thou earn thy bread’, God said to Adam on his fall from heaven. It is the law of our being, the living principle that carries men and nations onwards. All that is great in man comes through work, and civilisation is its product. In all walks of life-social, economic, political struggle is present. When you’re really struggling it can sometimes seem almost impossible that you’ll ever feel good again. The truth is, life is hard for everyone (and I mean EVERYONE) and you’re not alone in your struggles.
