21 Rewards

[Third-person POV]

Leon was transported back to his world, he was unconscious during the process as he was exhausted and collapsed due to overexerting himself. He could have stayed awake if it wasn't for the nauseating feeling and his head ringing due to travelling out of the Kengan world.

After coming back to his original world, Leon was sleeping on his bed without a regard to anything. His landline was ringing without a stop for the past two days. His mailbox was filed to the brim and the extra letters were kept near his doorstep by the mailman.

Leon did not know the time ratio of his and the kengan world, so he did not know how much time has passed in his original world.

Right now he was soundly asleep on his bed in his original 5-year-old body, his face was below average with plain black hair and black eyes. It was 6 AM and the atmosphere was a little cold, the heater was not turned on in the room and only the sound of the telephone can be heard in the background.

Suddenly

*GASP*

Leon gasped loudly and woke up with his eyes bloodshot, his skin was a little pale and there was obviously something wrong with his state of mind. Leon did not think any further and just got up from the bed hastily, turned towards the bathroom and turned on the shower.

*SHAAA*

Cold water began falling on the floor as Leon sat under the cold shower to calm his mind and body. He never experienced this kind of feeling so far, it was exhilarating yet very taxing to his mental health. He started meditating under the cold shower with his bath robe on, which he put on before transporting to the kengan world.

That mission was tough, I never killed humans in my past life, now I had to slaughter them for a template. My mental faculties are in a mess, if I was any weaker I wouldn't have hesitated to eat the corpses there to satiate my hunger.

The subconscious alert I put woke me up in a frenzy after getting back to my world, if I was left in that sick place I would have lost some screws for sure.

I thought I was strong after getting the template, did my calculations go wrong after all?

"System, come the fuck out!" I called out loudly.

'Huh?' I was dumbfounded.

"This fucking system! Why did you not tell me the difficulty was fucking A??" I shouted towards the system, I might pop a vein at this rate.

"And who decides that shit??"

[Various factors, for example fate, luck, butterfly effect etc.] the system replied monotonously as I watched in frustration.

'I should have asked for a sentient system, at least I can curse it to my heart's content' I sighed loudly, getting my anger in control.

"So the difficulty cannot be decided beforehand, what was that ROB thinking? Dammit"

"Show me all the details on my rewards" I gave up holding the system accountable for my misery in the kengan world. I can at least enjoy the rewards I gained for my performance.

I jumped with my 5-year-old body in the shower in joy. The mission was definitely worth it! The rewards are absolutely worth it!

I closed my eyes and switched to my Kanoh Agito template, and certainly I felt more in sync with it, 90% synchronization rate was no joke! I undoubtedly became stronger!

As my thoughts were running wild in joy I slapped myself hard

'Calm down...I cannot get excited over this merger power. I will fall face first if I do' I need to calm my thoughts and be rational, I cannot become arrogant again in my head. This power is just nothing in other anime worlds. Even Kanoh Agito is weak in the worlds where mana is a thing. Not to mention KI. I need to aim higher than just pure martial arts and strong body.
