Chapter 3 - Stolen kisses & The full moon

That night around 7 pm, Jake went out and bought he's lacrosse gear from the mall in Beacon Hills that was 3 blocks from the Sheriffs department, and also had pizza, he than headed home, had a shower,

wore a sleek dark brown leather jacket, over a grey muscle shirt that stuck to he's body making he's abs and pecs visible, faded jeans and white sole black sneakers, he looked in the mirror and untied he's hair and let it free, and walked out of the apartment, headed down to the garage and got into his camaro and made his way to the party.

(MC POV)

As i drove up to Lydia's house i could hear the music playing, teens cheering, i could also smell, booze, hormones, faint scent of weed and overall teenage sexual tension, i side parked my car on the curb infront of the house and got out, as i did i caught a very familiar scent, a scent i haven't smelt in the past 10 years,

Derek's scent, a small smile crept upon my face as i realised he must be here keeping an eye on Scott, i locked my car doors and made my way inside, a couple of guys from the lacrosse team where there hanging out and talking to a few freshman girls, they saw me and nodded and smiled i did the same and walked to the back where the pool was,

i saw Allison and Scott arrive after me, i didn't wanna interact with them yet so i walked to the side door of the house and went out, following Derek's scent i found him below the balcony of Lydia's guest house that was opposite the main house and facing the pool, behind him was a guard dog barking at him,

i made my way in and up as the guest house was open, a couple of teen couples were making out and drinking inside and out on the small varenda that overlooked the pool, i swiftly jumped on a rail with one foot as i soared in the air up onto the roof, the people below didn't see me as they were busy dancing and drinking.

Derek couldn't sense me, after all i washed and masked my scent using Jasmine leaves to hide from any werekin i came across, making me practically invisible to their senses (this is pure bullshit, just made it up),

something i learnt from my mother before she died, plus Jasmine tea was strangely calming and very nice, to him and the rest of the shapeshifters i would just be a normal human teenager, i watched as Scott and Allison came through the back doors and stood their taking in their surroudings, i quickly took off my clothes, this was a party and it was kinda melo and tame, i was gonna liven it up with a splash.

Soon as i was in my shorts Derek jumped up and ran across the roof from below, he was so fast that most of the people saw only a blur, well whatever, i could see Allison take Scott's hand and lead him onto the dance floor, Lydia and Jackson were getting frisky up against a pillar, i saw Danny making out with the schools soccer team captain as well, 'Good for him' i thought, "Alright people, let's get this party started" i shouted as everyone looked up to me on the guest house roof, some shock, other's confusion, but overall anticipation was on their faces,

i saw Allison look at me with worry as everyones attention was on me, i took a running two step near the edge of the roof as i made a double backflip off the roof and into the pool, as soon as i splashed, the music leaped of as the DJ blasted some EDM music, when i emerged and got out the pool everyone was cheering and dancing, Allison, Scott, Danny and Lydia came over to me, Allison had a severe look of concern on her face, "What the hell was that Jacob?" Allison asked looking at me, i effectively ignored her as Danny fist bumped me,

"Dude that was awesome!" he exclaimed, Allison who was beside us said "Awesome? What if he broke he's neck, would it be awesome then?" as if on que "Yeah man that was stupid" Scott added like the virgin he is, i was kinda annoyed at this point,

"Well looks like i made the right decision inviting you to the party, it's gonna be the talk of the town for a week now, thanks, your offically invited to the rest of my parties" Lydia said as she ran her index finger over my well cut and visible abs, i just chuckled "hehe sure, it's getting lit now, anytime you want to make stuff wet, let me know" i said as i winked at her, i didn't mind her little flirting, from the corner of my eye i could see Allison frowning as she saw me and Lydia talking,

"Dude you know Jackson's over there right?" Danny interrupted pointing to Jackson who was chatting with some of the guys from the team, "Yeah so? their not married, she can choose who she wants to flirt with, right Lydia?" i asked in a teasing tone and smiled at her, "That's right, hehe your cute" Lydia said as she licked her lips and looked up and down my damped body with clear lust, and right that second a cold bucket of ice water was suddenly poured on me from the side,

*Splish* "WHAT THE FUCK!?" i gasped for air as i turned ready to punch the bastard who did it only to freeze as i saw who it was... Allison.., Scott, Danny and Lydia looked shocked at her, i was pissed, so i shoved her back and she screamed as she fell into the pool, *SPLASH* "AAAh!" she screamed, "What the hell man!" yelled Scott as he's eyes glowed a golden hue for a second before flickering out, i turned and grabbed him by hooking he's shirt and judo throwing him over my hip into the pool,

"Since your date wanted a swim, why don't you join her" i said in an annoyed tone as everyone beside the pool watched, silence came over the backyard, i turned grinning as i walked away to the guest house to fetch my clothes off the roof, as i was going i heard Scott "I gotta go" he said and rushed out of the party and left, as i was getting dressed i heard using my supernatural hearing, "Wow! so you just thought dumping freezing cold water on a half naked guy suddenly was a good idea?" asked Lydia as she helped Allison out of the pool,

"Yeah not cool Allison, if it was anyone else they'd have punched you for that" added Danny as he handed her a towel, "Be glad Jacob just pushed you, because he was about to swing but when he saw it was you he unclenched he's fist and used the momentum of he's swinging arm to push you instead at the last moment" Lydia stated as she huffed annoyed,

"Sorry, i just reacted, he was ignoring me and i sort of lost it" Allison reasoned while looking at the ground as she left out of the house, i came back down and made my way through Lydia's house to leave when i was stopped "Hey wait Jacob!" Lydia came running as she looked up at me, i was a head taller than her,"Yes Lydia?" i asked, than out of no where she grabbed my jacket and pulled my head down as she landed her lips against mine hard, i was abit taken aback, but regained my composure as i wrapped my right arm around her waste as i brought her body close to mine, i heard and felt her heart rate rise,

as i parted her soft sweet lips with my tongue and i slipped it into her mouth and sucked her tongue out and into mine, our tongues danced against each other, she broke the kiss a second later gasping faintly as she looked at me and said "Sorry, i shouldn't have done that" and turned and ran back to the backyard, she kept stealing looks back at me as she ran, i smirked and left, 'i'm not chasing after you Lydia, not playing that game' i thought to myself as i went outside towards my car.

As i was about to get in my car, "Allison, i'm a friend of Scott's", i turned and walked towards the voice and Allison who had wrapped a towel around herself, than the guy standing in front of her said, "My name's Derek", i walked up to both of them "Yo so looks like your date ran off, come on, i'll give you a ride home" i said as i turned to eye Derek, "Yeah.... sure.. nice to meet you Derek" Allison said alittle embarrassed and walked over to my car as she forgot her jacket that was on the lawn, i didn't pick it up, i knew what Derek was gonna do with it,

"Nice look man, dig the whole pale creepy vampire look you got going on" I said sarcastically to Derek who raised an unamused eye brow at my quip, i walked back to my car opened the door and help Allison in before heading to the drivers side and getting in, Derek just stood in place watching us, then i drove us away.(Derek doesn't recognize Jake cause it's been 10 years since he saw him and because Jake's scent and presence is hidden by the Jasmine leaves).

Jake drove Allison home, on the way, there was silence, Jake didn't feel like talking to Allison, and Allison herself was too embarrassed to talk to him after what she did and how he reacted.

About 5 minutes before they reached the Argent's house, Allison spoke "Thanks for driving me home" Allison said looking guilty as she avoided looking at Jake, *silence* the silence was deafening as Jake kept quiet, not acknowledging Allison at all, she could only bite her lower lip as she just looked out the window as everything blurred by, they soon reached her house,

Jake got out the same time Allison did and walked her up to her door, he didn't say a thing, which made Allison anxious, cause she thought he just wanted to kiss her after he ignored her the whole night, she and Scott had arrived at 8 pm at Lydia's party, and now it was 10:30 pm, as they got a foot from the door it opened revealing a middle aged man with a gruff trimmed beard and slim build, Jake didn't say a thing, he just stopped infront of the guy,

Allison feeling abit relieved introduced the man to Jake, "Dad! This is jacob, Jacob this is my Dad" Allison said nervously, "Mr. Argent" Jake nodded at Allison's father, not at all intimidated by the man, "OH? Allison i thought you said you were going with a boy called Scott? Why isn't he the one dropping you off?" Mr. Argent asked Allison as he turned to her, ignoring Jake.

Jake knew who the man was as soon as he stepped out of the threshold of their home, Christopher Argent, Allison's father and a Hunter of all supernatural creatures that hunt humans, "Um.. yeah.. about that.." Allison tried to dodge the question, as father and daughter were talking, Jake decisively turned and walked towards he's car, ignoring the duo, this attitude surprised both the Argents,

"Hey! You just walk away during a conversation? Abit rude and impolite don't you think?" Mr. Argent yelled towards Jake, who stopped at the driver's side door and looked at Mr. Argent right in the eyes as if saying 'So what? What you gonna do about it?' and entered he's car, Allison just turned towards Jake as she watched with worry and sadness on her face as she saw him get in he's car and just drive off.

(Allison POV)

I saw the way Jacob looked at my dad, it was a look i have seen only my aunt Kate, when she thought my dad was being an ass or tryna be intimidating whenever i brought home a boy, it was the look that said 'I don't care what you think' i was kinda sad that i didn't apologise for dumping that bucket of iced water on him, but he was flirting with Lydia in front of me, and it made me angry, i just acted without thinking, the whole way back i thought we would talk about it, but when i tried to get him to talk to me he didn't even say anything,

"Allison, what's wrong with that kid? Is he one of those typical bad boys teen girls these days swoon for?" asked my dad in his bossy overprotective dad tone, "No dad, he was just mad at me because i sort of dumped a bucket of ice water on him when he was flirting to one of my new friends" i said, this made my dad raise an eye brow and look at me curiously "So, you like him?" he asked with a curious look on he's face,

"No! i don't, why would you ask that?" i asked in an annoyed tone as i made my way into the house, "Well you just said you interrupted him when he was flirting with a girl, by all accounts that seems exactly like someone being jealous and overreacting" he stated calmly and walked in behind me, i was about to argue back with something when he asked

"Wait, if you soaked him, and if he is like all other teenage boys he should be angry with you, so why did he drive you home? and what happened to this Scott kid that picked you up?" and then the rest of the night i had to explain from the beginning how it all came about, my dad's a great listener so i unloaded everything, about the party, how Scott just left without saying anything,

it was great that we could just talk like this again, by the end i felt a weight lift off my shoulders as he gave me some advice, in the end i found out that i had feelings for Jacob, but i didn't know what to do about it, i just ruined the only chance i had with him, what am i supposed to do now?

Jake drove away pissed, he's eyes were flickering scarlet red, the full moon was heightening his anger, it had been years since Jake had let go and fully transformed into he's alpha werewolf form, he hadn't even transformed into he's half werewolf form(all teen wolf werewolf forms) since he learnt to control he's true alpha abilities, unlike Scott who in the series was a weak ass true alpha always needing he's friends to save him, Jake had fully grasped his abilities, he was faster and stronger than any alpha out there, and in his fully transformed werewolf form he looked like a humanoid wolf (Van Helsing Werewolf) 8 feet tall and muscular,

another ability that Jake discovered he had was fog, he could control a fair amount of it, which came in handy for badass entrances if he ever wanted to make one. While Jake drove towards his apartment, he decided to take a detour, he remembered that one of the people he investigated last night lived around this block he was driving through, so he drove to the guys address.

Jake parked his car on the curb opposite the guys house and stepped out, a strong smell of blood wafted he's senses, he's eyes narrowed at the house ,

and glowed scarlet red, there was a full moon tonight, all supernatural creatures were out hunting, he did not know what kinda supernatural the guy who lived here was but with the strong smell of blood coming from the house Jake was not gonna let this guy hunt in Beacon Hills anymore, fog started to gather around the house and the road, heavily masking the area and making it barely visible as two scarlet red glowing orbs shown brightly in the fog, it moved fast swirling the fog around as it moved,

Jake jumped to the roof and opened a window and climbed through it, he made his way through the house, the smell of blood was the strongest in the basement, he made his way there, as Jake opened the door he was almost knocked on he's ass by how incredibly strong the smell of blood, rotting flesh and death was, standing in the dimly lit room was a man chomping down on a human leg.

Hearing the door creak the man turned giving Jake a good look at the cannibal, he had hollow silver colored eyes that were fully silver and had rows of sharp jaggered teeth,

Jake didn't delay a second as he moved with supernatural speed and arrived in front of the creature and sank he's right hand transformed into werewolf claws through the creaures neck and into his jaw, with a tug Jake completely removed the creatures lower jaw as it dropped lifeless to the floor, the creature was a wendigo, and Jake had no problem killing it.

He than spent 20 minutes pouring gasoline all over the basement and house, he found a cannister of gasoline in the wendigo's garage. Jake walked out, lit a match and threw it at the doorway of the house, it immmediately sparked and within half a second the whole house was engulfed in flames, with the fog still heavily shrouding the area and himself, Jake got into his car and drove home, his bloodlust satiated,

but not as much as he'd hoped it to be, it was underwelming, and it ended to quickly, but Jake new there where others, he'd take he's time hunting them down slowly, maybe they would pose a challenge for him, just thinking about hunting down more supernaturals got he's blood pumping and his eyes glowed scarlet red again as he made his way home.

The weekend came and went, Jake didn't do anything much just grocery shopping and study, he played a few console games, but mostly he spent he's time watching and observing the people who came into town after the Hale pack was gone, he just kept track of them, sniffed around their properties, and mostly just kept he's distance since he didn't want to alert them that he was there.

Monday came pretty fast, it was another uneventful day, Jake just focused on he's classes, talking with Danny and Stiles, Lydia came and apologised for kissing him at the party during lunch hour, Jake just said it was no big deal, and they got over the awkward faze, Allison tried to talk to him the entire day but Jake just kept dodging her,

when she was in one room he'd leave and go somewhere else, even if they shared the same class he'd sit far away from her, most of their classmates talked about the party and how it was fun, some girls came over to Jake to ask for he's number and asked him out, but he politely declined saying "I just moved here, not looking for a GF or commitment at the moment, but after i've settled in abit than maybe" giving them hope, that there might be a chance later.

At the end of the day after school Jake headed out of school towards the parking lot, as he left the main entrance of the school he spotted Scott sitting on a bench infront looking like he was waiting for someone, he was dressed in he's lacrosse uniform bacause they had practice,

but Jake was skipping today, he was only gonna attend practice when he wanted too or before a game, he's werewolf metabolism plus physique was always in peak condition since he had a gym of his own in he's loft, he didn't have to work or look for money because he's father had set up a trust for him before he died, he was a trust fund baby millionaire, he's father was an alpha of another pack that was hunted down by the Caliveras, a mexican hunter family, he was raised by the Hales(Laura, Derek and Cora's mother and father)

yes, he was actually adopted, he had no idea who his mother was, all he knew was that he was raised by Talia Hale as part of her pack when his father was killed when he was 4 years old, all he had was love for the Hales, Laura and Derek treated him like family, and Talia protected him, even though she knew he was a true born alpha, she treated him like he was her own, for that, the love he had for her was just as deep a love as a biological son has towards his biological mother, anyways, as Jake passed by Scott,

"Hey Jacob!" he heard Allison call him from behind, he turned to look at Scott who got up from the bench and was looking towards Allison like a lost puppy, Jake smirked inwardly as he turned around to face Allison who ran up to him, and had a frown on her face as she saw Scott standing beside him,

"Hey.. um.. i just wanted to say thanks for driving me home after the party Friday night" Allison said looking slightly guilty, as she said that Scott had a frown on he's face as he turned to glare at Jake and than looked back at Allison, "And i'm sorry about what i did at the party, can you forgive me?" Allison asked as she looked into Jake's eyes, "No problem, don't worry about that" Jake just waved it off, while Allison smiled, her smile that could make a man's knees weak, but Jake kept an emotionless face,

"Besides i think dumbass beside me here wants to talk to ya, see you around Miss Argent" Jake said coldly as he turned to leave, as Scott looked at him with a scowl, not liking being called 'dumbass', and Allison was saddened by how he addressed her as a stranger, she didn't know what to say as Scott was now infront of her talking to her and explaining what happened and why he left the party,

Jake made it to his car and got in, Mr. Argent drove up in he's truck, Jake drove by as Mr. Argent came out if he's car and looked at him, Jake just ignored him and drove away heading home, he turned to see Scott with a bewildered look on he's face as he recognised Mr. Argent, Jake chuckled to himself as he left the school grounds, "Hunters, werewolves, love, drama, heartbreak, its all about to hit the roof, Beacon Hills, we're back".
