Treasures and gold does not equate wealth. In order to get the correct amount of compensation for one of the items they have, they must be able to sell it to the correct patron. However, these patrons most of the time have vested interest in catching robbers. It's a risky business that could put their very lives at the risk.
"According to the custom of our village, you will receive all the belongings of the traitor, along with his position in the village. Do you want to join our village?" The chief asked.
Jiushu did not want to.
She thought for a moment.
"I will auction his position to any willing and approved by you, village chief." Jisuhu answered.
Her motto after coming to this world has been 'do not give out freebies'.
The chief was surprised for a moment, for he has never thought of auctioning off the position.
