Turning immortal

I am excited to finally become an immortal. But at the same time I am scared for my child's safety. Mother told me that it's gonna require power and it can drain them. I am afraid, I shouldn't loose my daughter in the greed of staying with her forever !

We decided to go the pink lake as it is humanless place and won't destroy anything there. Mother asked Ethan and Kevin to compel Steve and Daniel and leave the place as they won't be able to watch us in pain and will try to stop us.

But according to her if, we stopped in the middle of the spell, it might kill anyone among me Eve or herself so, she strictly told them not to stop us no matter what happens.

We grabbed eachother's hands and Steve and Daniel held ours in place so that, we won't snatch them away and as it might hurt us.

They started chanting some spell and I could feel something powerful entering my body, and it got so overwhelming and painful to bear I couldn't contain my screams. Ethan and Kevin came rushing to me but didn't touched.

I was in so much pain and so my Eve. But my strong little and brave child bared it all for Mother's and my life's sake ! She isn't little anymore. She have grown up into an very concerned and selfless person and I am proud of her.

After the spell ended, we all fell on ground. Ethan screamed my name and came to me. I couldn't keep my eyes closed and fainted.

When I opened my eyes, all of them were sitting beside me; except for Evelyn !

" Where is Eve ? "

I asked panicked.

" Calm down. She is still passed out. "

Mother said caressing my head.

" Still ? Since when I was passed out ? "

I asked confused.

" Three days. "

Ethan said grabbing my hand.

" What ? There days ? And why haven't she conscious yet ? "

I asked impatiently.

" The spell was way too strong for her. She is resting. She will up soon. "

Mother said assuring me.

But I couldn't wait to see her. I got up from the bed and couldn't stand because of the weakness.

" You aren't recovered yet, my child. You need to rest. Your daughter is safe, trust me. "

Mother said.

" I do trust you. But I need to see her with my own eyes, mother. "

I said.

Kevin picked me up and took me to her room. Suzy and Daniel were with her.

" Suzy ? How come you... "

I asked confused.

" You can get the details later. Meet your daughter first. She is subconscious and continuously asking for you. "

Suzy said grabbing my hands.

I sat beside Eve and grabbed her hands in mine and kissed her forehead.

" Baby, I am here. Mom is here. You don't have to worry. Come to me soon, my sweet child. "

I said kissing her cheek.

" Mom... Where is... my Mom... "

Eve said with her eyes still closed.

" I am right here, sweetness. Open your eyes baby. Mom is here with you. "

I said rubbing her hands gently.

" Mom... "

Eve said getting restless.

I hugged her and she wrapped her arms around me and screamed out loud,

" Mom ! "

As if, she woke up from a bad dream.

When she saw me in her arms fine, she started crying and hugged me tight.

" It's ok dear. Mom is here with you, see. "

I said kissing her forehead and wiping her tears.

" You are up, sugar. I can't describe how relived I am too see you open your eyes. "

Daniel said hugging her.

I am sure everyone heard her scream and ran to her room.

" She is up ? "

Ethan and Kevin asked.

Ethan and Kevin hugged us. Ethan and Kevin kissed our foreheads.

Kevin and Ethan cooked lunch for us and we had it and Eve and I slept together to gain back our strength.

After a few days of just eating and resting a lot, mother decided to check if, the spell was successful and I turned into immortal and which qualities I gained.

Ethan was there ready to bite his wrist and feed me his blood to cure my injury. Mother cut my finger a little bit deep.

" Ahh. "

I moaned in pain.

It hurted a bit but the injury healed on it's own; just like mother's injury heal on their own ! Eve needs the vampire's blood to heal but I don't need it now.

" Mother, it heald on it's own ! "

I said excitedly almost jumping happily.

All of them were happy too. I guess I have become immortal. But to check that, I won't risk my life and get someone try to kill me and see if, I survive it ! I will let time decide it.

I tried running fast but I couldn't so, that means I am the same as I was earlier, just my injuries heal on their own.

" Mother can't you give me speed ? Just like Ethan and Kevin ? I want to experience it and want to be able to experience the speed ! "

I said pouting to mother.

" Darling, your aren't a vampire or a wolf to have speed ! "

Mother said.

" Can't you give it to me just the way you gave me the ability to heald on my own ? "

I said.

" We can try, granny ! "

Eve said winking at mother.

" Oh, yeah. But for that Ethan and Kevin have to go through what we went while sharing our immortality with you.

If, they are ready and you are willing to go through the same pain once again, I can customize your pack as per your wish. Just tell me what qualities you want from them and I will give them to you ! "

Mother said teasing me.

" We are ready ! "

Me, Ethan and Kevin said together; without planning.

We looked at eachothers surprised.

" What ? Like seriously ? "

Mother asked.

" Yeah ! "

We said together again.

We decided a day next month and mother did the spell and I didn't felt as much pain as I felt for the first time. But Ethan and Kevin were in so much pain were screaming; but again we couldn't leave each other's hands or either of us would die !
