The big day

Dads met Marcus just the three of them and did God knows what but in the end they approved of our relationship and welcomed him in the family. He is very new to the family to know the whole truth of our family just yet.

He might freak out just by knowing I am a witch along with granny and he will die when he'll come to know that, not only one but all of the men in our house are vampires.

And the cherry on the cake ? Kevin Dad is a hybrid; not just a vampire but a wolf as well ! And too original one.

I won't freak him out by telling him everything just yet. He must figure out few things himself before I tell him the whole truth just the way he discovered I am not a normal human being like him !

Granny promised mom that after I stop growing, I will achieve the power she needs from me to turn mom into an immortal creature without turning her into either a vampire or a wolf. I guess since my birthday I have stopped growing.

All of them have noticed it. Mom kept a measurement record and kept it updated every single day what changes occurred in my height. From my birthday, she haven't recorded growth of even of a millimeter !

Granny and Dads and uncles have their eyesight so strong and sharp, they don't need any measuring tape to notice it !

Even Marcus said that I have stopped growing. He haven't noticed any change in my height. He used the criteria of the level he had to bend to kiss me !

my Dads or uncles found out about him kissing me even before they approved of us, he is a dead meat !

We tried certain magics which needs the witch who is performing it, to be a complete grown-up and I successfully achieved those. So, Granny decided to go for the chant which all of us were dying to perform on Mom.

" Are you ready, my child ? "

Granny asked Mom.

" I don't care about myself mother, is Eve ready ? Nothing will happen to her, right ? "

Mom asked Granny while hugging me.

" Don't worry about her, dear. She is ready and nothing will happen to her, don't worry. "

Granny assured mom.

" Don't worry mom, I can do it. We will be together forever. All of us ! "

I said kissing her cheek.

Mom hugged me tight and didn't let me go. She was worried because, Granny had told her it's a very powerful magic and can drain us out of energy.

I had told Granny not to tell this to mom because, I know how worried she can get when it comes to me !

" Yes, I am very excited and scared at the same time baby. I don't want you to hurt in the process of staying with all of you. "

Mom said crushing me into her arms like she was afraid of letting go. As if, she will let go of me and I will vanish.

I hugged her back. I know how much she loves me and care for me. I too love her and don't wanna loose her.

If, anything wrong happens to me during the process, I will be glad knowing that at least, she can be with my Dads forever without having to kill people for her survival or facing the pain of turning every full moon night !

" Don't worry Mom. Your daughter is strong just like you. I will not get hurt, I promise. "

I said kissing her temple.

She finally calmed down after like hours of convincing and we all went to the garden as granny said the magic is very powerful, it can destroy the home.

" Mother, why not go to the pink lake then ? Nobody visits there. It is far from human habitat and nothing can get destroyed there ! "

Ethan Dad suggested.

" Well, not a bad idea. I just don't have good memories with that place ! "

Granny said shivering at the memory of getting buried there for thousands of years.

" It's ok mother, we can do it here. We can get our home fixed if, anything goes wrong there. "

Mom said grabbing granny's hand.

" But Ethan isn't wrong. That's an isolated place and it's the best choice of humanless place. "

Granny said determined and we left for the Pink lake. I always wanted to visit that place but nobody allowed me to.

This place is actually creepy as hell ! I can only feel the negative vibes here. I just hope it doesn't affects our magic.

A witch's magic is something she can use even after she dies ! And Mom's mom have killed many witches and I am sure they would be mad at these messy sisters.

" Granny, they won't create any trouble for us, right ? "

I said almost talking to myself.

" I hope not ! "

Granny said unsure.

We grabbed each other's hands and tried to cheer up the other. We called Mom and grabbed her either hands.

" No matter what happens, you won't let go any of our hands, understand ? And none of you guys would try to separate us till we let go of Amber's hands. I repeat, NOT DOING ANYTHING FROM THE ABOVE ! "

Granny said seriously.

" But... "

Kevin Dad tried to interrupt.

" No buts. The magic is very powerful, either of can die if, we lost the support and energy from the other. Understand ? "

Granny said seriously.

I have never seen her this serious ever since I met her. So, this isn't something to mess up.

" If, it is this dangerous I don't want it Mother. Turn me into a vampire. I will rather suffer killing the unknown people than, killing my Mother or my daughter ! "

Mom said almost crying.

" Don't act stupid, Amber. I am telling what can happen if, we let go each other's hands. So, we just have to hold each others tight and not let go no matter what ! "

Granny said convincing Mom.

" But Mother..."

Mom said unsure of the process now.

" No ifs and no buts now. Just remember no matter what happens, don't leave our hands. Not mine nor Eve's, understand ? Or else you will be responsible for killing either of us.

The process might hurt us a bit as, it requires our power and strength. Remember I told you that it will require more power than I have and Eve can help in it. So, it will hurt just a bit because of the power it requires and nothing else.

Ethan, you are stronger emotionally, compel Steve and Daniel to hold us in place unless we are done here and leave with Kevin. "

Granny said to Ethan Dad.

" No mother, I am not strong. It's my daughter we are talking about. I can't imagine something hurting her and me leaving her in pain ! I won't go. If you want you can go Kevin. "

Ethan Dad said.

" She is my daughter, don't forget that ! I am also not leaving mother. I can't run away when my daughter would be I pain ! "

Kevin Dad said hugging me as if, protecting me from the unknown danger.

" Dads, we need mom to become an immortal. That requires strength. It's just gonna hurt a little bit and nothing else. But look at the end result, she will be with us forever and we won't ever loose her ! "

I said hugging him back.

" But love... "

Kevin Dad was trying to say something but I didn't let him.

" No Dad. You will leave or swear on me that you won't try to do anything to take me away from Mom ! I don't wanna spoil the magic and then regret the outcome. And I wanna prove my teacher that I am the only and best student she ever had and ever will ! I can do it Dad, trust me. "

I said hugging Ethan Dad as he came close to me.

" Ok. We won't disturb you guys but we won't leave as well ! "

Ethan Dad said.

Granny held Mom's hand and I held the othera and Granny and I held our hands too. Dads were standing away and Daniel uncle and Steve uncle held our hands so that, we won't let go.

Granny and I started chanting the spell and slowly I felt the energy leaving my body and a slow burning started inside me. I badly wanted to get rid of it but Granny's words echoed in my ears,

' If we let go of our hands, either of us three can die ! '

I don't care about it being me. But I don't want to be the one killing either Mom or granny ! So I held on tightly on Granny's hand and continued chanting the spell.

Mom was in pain as well and she started screaming. We basically were transferring our immortality into Mom and her mortal body couldn't bear it.

Dads ran to Mom and struggled hard not to touch her and pull her away. Uncles tightened their grip on our hands so that, mom won't snatch her hand away to get rid of the pain.

" Ahhhh... "

Mom was screaming very bad. Her screams were deafening and I couldn't watch her in pain and so I closed my eyes and continued chanting.

The situation was overwhelming it was hurting me to death and it was hurting mom as well and so was granny in pain.

Granny and I were loosing our power and Mom was gaining it and so it was painful for all of us.

After sometime the spell finished and we all collapsed on ground.

" Evelyn ! "

" Amber ! "

" Mother ! "

I just heard the men screaming in panic and darkness engulfed my eyes.
