Kevin was crying so much in guilt after discovering what had actually happened, is completely different from what he thought and blamed Mother each time; when SHE was the one protecting him always !

When she talked about leaving us, Kevin denied her that.

Amber said and was about to go to him but I grabbed her by her waist and made her stand close to me.

Kevin stopped speaking when, mother slapped him hard in the face and I couldn't stop chuckling.

Mother said to me and I controlled my laughter with atmost effort.

Then she turned towards him.

Mother pulled him into her embrace and they both started crying.

Amber too wasn't able to control her emotions.

" Why did you steal only MY ability to cry, mother ? I am feeling like I have no emotions that, I can't cry even after watching so many people crying their hearts out infront of me ! "

I said crying inside and mother smiled and opened her arms for me as well and I ran into her arms.

I was carving for her warmth for so many lifetimes now! We were hugging for a long time.

Amber said crying and we all laughed.

Mother opened her arms for her as well and she too came running to her.

I know what is she feeling. She have already accepted mother as her own mother. She had told me this once when, we were talking mother's coffin.

Mother said kissing his forehead.

" We are the party poppers here Ethan ! Let's go we are not needed here anymore. A mother and her favorite child are here let's go somewhere else where, we won't feel like outsiders ! "

Amber said teasing mother.

" Now now, you are way too young to tease me young lady, you know ! "

Mother said seriously and Amber got scared and we all laughed at her reaction.

Kevin said laughing out loud and unable to control his laugh.

Mother laughed along with him. I didn't dare laugh at her having her so close to me that, she could hit me.

Her expressions changed from scared to confused watching them laugh.

She looked at me, trying hard not to laugh and she got mad.

She said like an angry toddler and started to leave the room stomping and that made us laugh even harder.

And this time I didn't stop myself from laughing. But I went behind her and grabbed her waist before she could leave the room and brought her back picking her up in my arms.

She was struggling to get out of my grasp; as if, she could !

Kevin said coldly.

I put her down and she didn't leave again.

She too knows, it's better to not provoke Kevin on this sensitive matter of touching her in front of either of us because we are more than possessive for her, to accept easily the other one touching her.

Mother said grabbing her hand and pulling her close to her and kissing her forehead lovingly.

Mother said and she hugged mother tightly and started crying.

Mother said caressing her lovingly trying to calm her down.
