Moving in next door

Esmeralda walked out of the suite and looked at Kain who was seating at his desk and going through files. She stood at the door and was watching Kain in all his seriousness and he scanned all the files in his hand. She had just resumed after a two days break and was already tired and she had not even broke through half of the files. She sighed and shook her head vigorously then she walked over to the desk and sat beside Kain. Kain didn't look up at her as she sat down beside him. She looked at her watch '03:56 PM' and groaned then she grabbed a file and joined Kain to fight through the bulk of files that occupied three quarter of the desk. 

Kain sighed and leaned back. They had been working for many hours non-stop since they had their late lunch. It was way past closing and he suspected they were alone in the whole building. He stood up and Esmeralda looked at him and dropped the file in her hand.

"What is it?" he asked her.
