Perfect mate

In his room, Robert paced back and forth wondering what was the cause of Leon's sudden interest in the case.

He had promised to help her no matter what and he would not allow anyone not even Leon to find out.

After a hearty breakfast at the restaurant, Kayla took a can and left for Leon's house.

Reaching the magnificent building, Kayla couldn't help but feel amazed. It was built following the European style, each corner was meticulously thought for.

As Kayla entered, the Chandler which was the major source of light. Kayla was welcomed by Peter's handsome smile.

"Welcome back Miss Kayla" Peter said with a respectful tone.

"I told you, just call me Kayla," Kayla said with a pout.

"I am sorry, it's the boss's order," Peter said.

"The last time you came, you did not know the corner around the house, i will take you on a tour when you are ready. But first, I will lead you to your room" Peter said as he packed her laugage.

Peter showed Kayla her room and later took her on a tour showing her the hidden gem in the house.

Kayla was amazed, it was bigger than it seemed. She was shown a beautiful garden, a clean jacuzzi, a cinema and many other exciting places.

"This is the life of a tycoon" Kayla thought inwardly as she followed closely behind Peter who showed her around.

After the end of the tour session, Kayla got exhausted and went to her room for a rest which led to a nap.

In her sleep, she found herself in a dark forest with a red blood moon hanging in the sky. The cold wind sent shivers down her spine.

It felt as if she was in another world where no human existed except her.

As she looked around trying to find an existence out of this place, she saw a black wolf with deep green eyes which shone in the darkness.

Fear gripped her, she tried to run but her legs felt stuck, she was frozen in fear. The wolf looked familiar and Kayla tried to remember where she saw it.

"Yes, the vivid picture of the wolf in the mysterious man's room," Kayla thought inwardly under the watchful eyes of the black wolf.

"Awoooooo" The wolf gave a loud howl to the moon before moving closer to her slowly.

Kayla remember a documentary she watched about wolves, which says when confronted by a wolf stand your ground. Running will worsen your case.

The green eye shines like two big emeralds.

The wolf walked to her before curling up on her feet as if telling her to per him.

Kayla looked at it with shocked eyes, "A wolf which is a wild animal behaving like a cat? This must be a dream" Kayla thought inwardly before stroking its long fur.

In reality, Kayla's face was covered with sweat as her body temperature increased at a fast pace.

She turned left and right on the wide and soft bed drenching it with sweat.

******In the King's Company******

Leon suddenly felt worried, "Kayla" Leon muttered as he dropped the files and got up from his chair walking briskly to his car.

Mark quickly followed him with a confused gaze. He knew now was not the time to ask what was happening, "Something must be wrong with the boss mate" Mark thought as he followed.

"Take care of all the business" Leon said with a commanding tone as he entered his car.

He speeds passing the speed limit and heads to the penthouse slithering and dodging cars like a snake.

*Ring Ring Ring* Leon's phone buzzes.

Leon looked at the caller, "What does dad want this time?" Leon asked as he focused on driving.

*Waaaaahhhhh" a loud high-pitched siren buzzed as a police car followed Leon.

"With the authority of the police force, I order you to stop" A male voice was heard through a megaphone.

All this fell on deaf ears as Leon'striving speed only increased. The more he got closer the more worried he felt and the ringing of his phone felt annoying.

Soon, Leon left the police car trailing him far behind.

******Andrew's house******

In a sitting room, Andrew and Alexia could be seen sitting face to face on a sofa.

"Join me as my mate," Andrew said to Alexia breaking the silence.

Andrew who took a pill which caused the injuries he received from the fight between him and Leon healed fast. He both the pill at an astronomical amount and he only used it when his injuries were severe.

He has done his research on Alexia after finding out she is his mate. It turned out that she was the ex-girlfriend of his arch-nemesis.

The fire of flames burned deep down in his heart but he concealed it with an expressionless face, he knew she could be a major help on his quest.

"She is his mate and he will always choose her over you, join me and I can help you exact revenge on them," Andrew said again striking the nail on its head.

As a werewolf, he knew the significance of a mate to a werewolf, she is his fated better half from birth given by the moon goddess.

Alexia's face darkened as anger boiled within her. "How did you know?" Alexia asked Andrew who relaxed on the couch with his legs crossed. He knew he had struck a nerve and it was moving in his favour.

"I did my research, with you alone, you have no chance against them but together with me, we will be unstoppable," Andrew said cajoling her.

Alexia knows about the existence of werewolves but the term mate is surprising to her. Funny enough, she is the mate of her enemy.

"Can you help me?" Alexia asked. "I want to see him suffer for choosing her over me," Alexia said.

"Of course, but you have to be part of the plan to work," Andrew said.

"Me? How can I be of help?" Alexia asked. She. knew she was not as strong as a werewolf and did not know what she could offer.

Understanding her thoughts, Andrew quickly said." You don't need to get into the fight, leave that to me. All I want is for you to provide me his details and whereabouts" Andrew said.

"I can do that," Alexia said with an evil grin. "I will show you I am ten times better than your so-called mate," She thought inwardly.

Even though she is his mate and she feels some sort of connection towards him, she still feels attracted to Leon's cold demeanour. A trait that seems only Leon could offer.

"Perfect, with you I can finally fulfill my long promise. You are the perfect mate for me" Andrew said with a mischievous grin.

They both look like a perfect evil couple brewing a storm.
