Ember is Evolving!

Why did the energy turn fivefold? Although I was curious as to the reason, I was also not given enough time to think about it.

A silent scream escaped my lips as the pain from the energy feedback hit me. Blood spurted out like a fountain from all over my body, as if all my blood vessels had burst at the same time. This is dangerous, definitely! My body wouldn't be able to take in this much energy!

I quickly activated the combination flames, trying to control the energy that was rampaging inside my body. However, a problem suddenly appeared.

*SHUUUU!*

With a hissing sound, the flames went out!

'I ran out of bad karma?!'

I should still have a bit left! How? Why did this happen?!
