CHAPTER 7: Are you happy?.

{NEXT MORNING, IN THE YANG MANSION}.

The Yang family had woken up and were already having breakfast when they heard a scream. They look up to see the girl who Yang Feng brought home last night coming down the stairs.

Xiu Mei who had remembered everything that happened last night screamed "YANG FENG" and then she pounced on him and started hitting him in the chest.

Yang Feng sighed and said " tigress, you should be a little shameful at times like these you know, how can you immediately pounce on me in front of the Yang Family? I didn't know you missed me that much, if you did you should have just called me to your room and we can spend alone time together".

"Who wants to spend time with you, you shameless idiot you are so annoying"

"I am sure you missed me, did you know what you did yesterday?, you pulled me by my collar and then you kissed me forcefully and when I pushed you, you pulled me again, Tsk you took advantage of me last night". Yang Feng said while clicking his tongue.

" No, you are lying" Xiu Mei argued.

"Why would I lie, you even said you love me and I was very shocked, then after saying that you removed my shirt and started kissing my chest and...." Yang Feng was suddenly interrupted

"I-I DIDN'T DO THOSE THINGS, YOU ARE LYING" Xiu Mei didn't believe him at all, but she was still flustered.

While they were arguing they completely ignored the rest of the Yang family. " My child, don't mind him, he is always like this" Madam Yang(Jiang Meilin) said breaking their argument while Xiu Mei blinked and turned around, seeing that the Yang family was sitting right in front of her she immediately turned naive and gentle. While smiling politely she said, "Good morning Elder Yang, Mrs.Yang, and the young miss, I am sorry for the inconvenience I caused and because of that I will gladly take my bag and leave".

Before she leave to take her bag Yang Feng said" Tsk you were never this polite to me"

"And why should I be?" Xiu Mei asked him with a glare.

"Whatever, anyways you can't go out that way go get changed then I will drop you off," Yang Feng said with a smile.

"What do you mean by dropping me off?, where are my car keys?"

"Your car keys are with my Secretary, I told her to fetch your car and drop it at your home and tell your mum that you would not be able to make it home last night".

" I don't know if I would make it home today with you in the same car as me, and since you could track my house why didn't you take me home?"

"Because I wanted to" Yang Feng answered with a smirk.

Just when the theatre was about to argue again, Madam Yang immediately said "My child go get cleaned up I will send you a new set of clothes" when Mrs.Yang finished talking Xiu Mei just nodded and went to the room upstairs to clean up.

{20 minutes later}.

she came back downstairs and went to the dining room where the Yang family were sitting seeing Yang Feng's parents and his sister sitting there she said: "I gotta get going sir, ma'am, thanks for the hospitality".

father Yang(Yang Yuxuan) who has not said anything to her since morning suddenly said" eat breakfast before going or it might harm your health".

"Yes eat something" insisted Yang ruoxi. seeing that the family will not let her off she sat down and took a plate of fruit salad and began to eat. A few minutes later Yang Feng walked into the dining room and sat close to Xiu Mei who ignored him, then he poured himself a glass of champagne.

"Why are you eating only fruits and veggies?" Mrs.Yang asked.

"I prefer them to non-vegetarian foods" Xiu Mei answered politely.

"Oh, so you are a vegetarian, "Yang Yuxuan said.

" No sir, I just prefer them" Xiu Mei answered politely.

"Do you have a boyfriend?" Yang Ruoxi suddenly asked and Yang Feng's face darkened while Xiu Mei suddenly got up quickly, seeing her reaction Yang Feng asked "What happened?".

" Darn it, Yang Feng this is all your fault, my mom will bury me alive today If I am late for the foolish appointment".Xiu Mei said as she quickly grab her bag. Yang Feng was very annoyed because he planned to spend some time with her today and here she was rushing out of the house, so he pulled her and tighten his arm around her waist, then he asked her "What is the appointment about".

Xiu Mei didn't know why she answered him but she did" My mum wants me to get married so she found a guy for me and today he and his family are coming to visit us," Xiu Mei said with a bitter smile.

Immediately she said that his face darkened and the temperature of the room dropped, but he controlled himself and asked her "are you happy?".

Xiu Mei just smiled bitterly and said " it doesn't matter if I am happy, my mum is very lonely and my dad is no more, she always tells me to get married and bear her grandkids, so as long as she is happy then I will do it". Xiu Mei looked down to the floor as a tear rolled down her eyes and she quickly clean it but the Yangs still witnessed her actions.

looking up Xiu Mei smiled and said" Common let's get going, or else I will get into trouble". After that Xiu Mei dragged Yang Feng to the car, while the Yangs stood stupefied at how quick she was at changing her emotions.
