CHAPTER 4O: Apologize.

After MJ went to his room to play the elders sat in the couch.

" Why don't you want the child". Mia said first breaking the silence.

" Mia you and I know that the baby won't be safe with me". Xiu Mei replied.

" Since you did not want a child why did you sleep with Mr. Yang then?". Mia asked angrily.

" This us my baby so shut the fuck up". Xiu Mei also replied coldly.

" Fine then, but if you don't try then how will you become a good mother". Standing to her feet Mia coldly said " If anything happens to the baby then you are a bad mom and not even your child will forgive you".

Sighing Mia sat back on the couch and said " Meimei you are clearly taking good care of Xiu Yufan so I don't see what is stopping you from taking care of your own child. If you want hard you can protect this baby".

As Mia said that Xiu Mei just stared at her for a while before saying "Fine, I will try my best". pausing for a while she said " I will visit the Yang mansion today to apologize and I also have something important to say to them".

She stood up expecting for them to leave, standing for few minutes and seeing that they were not ready to leave she raised her brow in question and they replied at once saying "You won't offer you guest anything".

Sighing she went to the kitchen and brought cookies and drinks with her then she kept it on the table and sat where a pouting MJ was already sitting.

Yang Feng, Mia and Huang Yihan started feeding themselves while Xiu Yufan continued pouting.

" What is wrong?". Xiu Mei asked seeing his pouty lips.

" Mommy's cookies are only for Yufan, and you gave it to them".

" Don't be greedy, I thought you well didn't I".

" Okay, mommy". he said and paused for a while before asking "mommy, is it true that you are going to give me a baby soon?".

Smiling Xiu Mei nodded and carried him to go change his clothes as she also did the same. Her trip to the underworld was cancelled, she wanted to fix things.When they were all ready to go they headed for the Yang mansion.

All the people present were shocked to their core when they saw Xiu Mei kneeling to the floor with her two hands joined as she asked them to forgive her.

" You people should just forgive this brat". Mia said breaking the silence then she paused before saying " Xiu Mei apologising means she respects you a lot. After all the mistreatment she has never apologize to me".

Xiu Mei frowned before saying " Why should I, your just two years older than I am".

" Hmm..." Mia hummed before glaring and said " And can the two years be bought?".

" Whatever, as old as you are you have never given me a good advice, than to get us into trouble". Xiu Mei replied with a smirk.

" Don't lie now Meimei, I have always taught you to capture the heart of a wealthy handsome young man, I told you to pick the one with a lot of money. I am such a good sister". Mia said excited.

A smirking Xiu Mei who now had imaginary horns turned to Li Peng and said "Brother in law I can not imagine your marriage without you being rich, My sister always loves to squander people's cash".

" Really?, but she doesn't take money from me since I left one of my credit card with her and till now the amount isn't coming lesser". Li Peng said in a serious tone then he turned to Mia and asked "Why don't you spend it, I told you that it is for you".

" What do you want me to buy, you buy my jewelry, my clothes, my makeup kit is complete too, you have already given me everything so I don't have anything to buy". Mia replied.

" Sorry, I did not know that, I will stop buying you everything from today". Li Peng gave his wife a sorry look.

Giggling Mia reached forward and kissed his cheeks and whispered to him "Your so cute".

" Ah..., when will Xiu Mei ever treat me with so much love". Yang Feng unknowingly complained loudly making Xiu Mei frown then said " You are saying I don't treat you with love".

" You do but, it isn't as gentle as this".

"Fine then, go and marry my sister... HUMPH".

" Mom what did I do, i-it was his fault".

" You are on your knees apologizing and you haven't been forgiven yet you are still fighting with them".

"You are forg....". Jiang Meilin was about to say that but was interrupted by Yang Feng's grandmother.

" You are not forgiven until you make me a promise".

"Okay what is the promise grandma".

" Promise me that you will do everything I say from now on".

" You can't promise?".

" No grandmother, ask for something else. That's just too hard for me to do".

Now it was Mia's turn to smirk "Who would have thought that my perfect sister finally found something to be scared of. COWARD" She said emphasizing on the coward.

Xiu Mei's veins popped out of her head as she turned to look at the devil who was givingoff her beautiful smile.

" I am not a coward".

" Really?, then why are you not promising our grandmother in law".

" if you were in my position I am sure you will be doing the same thing".

"Fine. I promise". *Slap*. Xiu Mei said unknowingly due to frustration and she hurriedly covered her mouth but it was too late.

A now smiling grandma Yang said " Thank you. I heard about your grandparents but they are not here".

" Oh grandma and grandpa always travel around, they don't sit in a place for too long".
