The Empty Throne
--The Nydisian Kingdom, The Castle, Outside The Throne Room--
The uneasy night had now come and gone and the council had taken over the castle. Lord Michael Rothenberg stood at the entrance of the throne room trying to decide if now was the right time to speak with his uncle.
It was no doubt that Michael had his reservation about Lucian but this was not the way to challenge him. Using the law was in their benefit but truly the only language Lucian understood was power and he had the most of it.
Just as Michael was about to enter the throne room he was stopped by the Captain, "Do what do I owe the pleasure?"
Llewellyn scowled at the relaxed manner Michael had composed himself in, "There is nothing pleasurable about speaking with a traitor,"
Michael turned sideways to look at the Captain before revealing that dashing smile of his, "Don't be so dramatic, Lucian's only getting a tap on the wrist if you ask me,"
