Emerald City

After meditating on his gains for a while, he returned to the inn with He Mao.

It had turned dark so he just went to sleep before taking off for Emerald City in the morning.

Bei Youer and others were curious about what Long Chen did, but since he did not wanna share, nobody pushed the issue and the rest of the journey was met with no obstacles.

After a day's worth of journey, a towering city came into sight.

Emerald City was situated on the top of a mountain, just beside the Dark Forest.

The city walls were twice the size of the Southern Phoenix City, It seemed to be heavily fortified.

"Let's make the carriage less inconspicuous I don't wanna deal with any other clan heads" Long Chen suggested to which they agreed.

They hid the Long Clan's symbol and covered the hounds with armor making them look like a common horse-type demonic beast.

"10 silver per person"

2 heavily armored men were standing at the gate. They had staunch expressions on their face and gave no face to Long Chen and co.

Fang Qian gave him 100 silver and their carriage took off.

"Inform young master Qin Song, he will definitely be interested in this group"

Long Chen and others traveled all around the city, enjoying the local delicacies and buying souvenirs.

After a couple of hours of that, they made their way towards the inn of the city.

Qin Emporium was the name of the inn owned by the city lord's clan.

It was a multi-story building, they appeared to be built of wood and stone.

They had multiple tiled ledges on each floor.

The inn was surrounded by a large open field, giving it an exotic look.

They parked their carriage outside and made their way towards the top floor of the inn.

The top floor served wine which was famous all over Grand Xia.

"Woah the sitting arrangement is amazing " Fang Qian Loudly exclaimed.

As soon as the waiter bought the wine, they were immediately hit with the faint smell of wine.

It was quite mellow containing just a few rough edges, it felt soothing to the heart.

"Delicious" Long Chen wasn't too artistic when it came to wine, he wasn't the one to judge a wine on its depth or complexity.

No one spoke a word everyone just drowned in serenity, feeling the present moment.

A young man barged into the scene followed by two lackeys.

He was very feminine, with looks so pretty it could make a woman jealous.

With flashy clothes and colored hair, it was as if he was afraid he wouldn't attract enough attention.

Despite their veils, their beauty was very eye-catching.

The Inn's staff started scrambling in a panic, although the Qin clan is the big shot of the city, judging by Long Chen's age and cultivation base.

Even an elder from Qin Clan was there, but he was just at the first layer of the essence gathering realm.

He just couldn't shake off the feeling, still, he was confident in his abilities so he didn't take any action.

They all enjoyed themselves for a couple of days before a mishap had occurred.
