Starlit Trials XIV Sweet Sisel II

"I had no power to save her and yet she asked me if I wanted to share her snacks before eventually asking me to give her mercy.. and I could do very little else! How dare you appear before this palace! You unforgivable fools.. I'll never ever forgive you!"

"She was truly innocent.. and yet you dare call her a traitor?! Do you fools ignore my warnings on purpose?!"

"Not only have my measures been ignored but it allowed someone to use her face.. her innocent face.. I hate you! I hate that I have to be your first prince! I hate that you dare call yourselves elves! She didn't deserve to die! She didn't deserve this! How dare you do this on her last day! You didn't deserve her!"

The young prince tearily roared, before then breaking the relic and preparing to unleash the strongest silver beam he could produce, resulting in him immediately being restrained by that silver aspect!

"Release me you failure of an Aspect! They didn't deserve her! They didn't deserve her smile! They didn't deserve her snacks! How dare you stop me! She didn't deserve to suffer!"

"She didn't deserve to die! She didn't deserve this! They're no different than ignorant husks who dare believe they're elves! How dare they ruin her last day! How dare you! I will never forgive you!"

The young prince painfully cried, for him this was very much the worst experience in his life!

And he truly hated them for not saving her and for ruining her last day of life! He simply didn't care anymore! He wanted to end them for daring to call her such names!

Unfortunately it seemed, the balance or whoever controls these trials had cut it short.

Causing him to finally wake up having apparently passed his final trial, and prompting him to simply cry his heart out, surprising everyone and causing Kassandra to comfort him as much as she truly could.

Which worked fairly well, however he simply couldn't bear it.. so much so that he was forced to simply show Kassandra his memories directly, causing her after several moments to embrace him even tighter.

And after what felt like ten long minutes of tears and explaining how precious Sisel truly was, he had finally remembered that he had in fact eaten her heart so there was still hope!

Resulting in him calming down albeit his tears were still uncontrollable but his mind no longer was.

Causing him after several moments to release her and soon enough a pure white ball had appeared, and after waiting for several more moments it had finally dissipated revealing that of Sisel.

However it seemed the balance had followed in its tricks, but for the better it seemed?

No mind plague, no blight plague, and her essence had been replaced with that of her own essence. Causing him to immediately pounce, albeit gently causing her to slowly open her eyes.

Before then sweetly hugging him.

"I-It's you.. I'm so happy! Bu-But I don't have snacks-"

Sisel sweetly remembered, in truth despite her previous condition she could look into his soul far easier than others he had met including Sterling, if not for her conditions she would have made the sweetest of Queens.

Unfortunately for The Starlight Elves but as The First Prince she's his now!

And prompting him to happily look into his space ring before then placing down a large cloth and unloading a pile of fancy snacks!

Causing her eyes to sparkle before then breaking apart a long chocolate donut with jelly filling, in half and handing him the other half.

"S-So yummy! I-I haven't eaten anything in three years so it's especially yummy, bu-but what makes it more yummy is sharing it with you"

Sisel sweetly confessed, surprising the young prince having realized chances were she had to endure it all far longer than he initially thought, which in itself was far too impressive while equally sad.

She was able to endure losing much of her essence, a mind plague intended to turn your brain into mush, and a blight plague intended to kill her..

And yet when he sensed her and examined her during their short talk she more or less remained the same as if fortifying her mind and blocking it all as long as she truly could for so many years, she was simply that immense even at her young age..

While as no lesser person would have been cursed in such a way even if it was for an elaborate scheme.

Meaning she was a threat to three entire factions that could put the entire world on edge and threaten stability everywhere while single handedly holding back the floodgates of some kind?

No matter the case, he'd much prefer to ask her later, causing her after noticing his worried thoughts to happily place his donut in his mouth.

Causing him to adorably nod while after several moments Sisel had finally noticed the others causing her to sweetly pat the spots next to her.

"I-I can't eat so much and sharing sweets makes the sweets even sweeter!"

Sisel sweetly invited, resulting in Savani immediately doing so while Kassandra slightly nodded while followed by the others.

Causing Sisel to happily smile as she nibbled on her shared snacks that she would always break in half and share with others.

So much so that she hadn't really noticed Savani was a Starlight Elf?

Or rather simply because she didn't know if she was truly one or not, causing her to sweetly break another cookie in half and hand her the other half. And sweetly whispering in her ear having felt worried if she was sick.

Causing Savani to happily nod as she nibbled on her cookie and prompting Sisel to glow within that of a pure holy light or rather simply it was more or less her starlight white complexion whenever she uses her abilities.

All of which slightly surprising Kassandra having sensed something similar.

Causing Sisel after several moments to sweetly giggle.

"Savani is an interesting person! An-And don't worry I-I forgive Senex, bu-but now that you're not Senex you're a Lesser Princess of Starlight! S-So we're sisters!"

"I-If sister Savani ever wants me to remove The Mark of Senex o-or hide the memories of the soul then I'll do it for sister Savani!"

Sisel sweetly reassured, surprising everyone while Savani having realized that wasn't normal even among Princesses of The Starlight Elves to shamelessly nod.

"O-Only if you tell me why you're more impressive?"

Savani shamelessly asked, confusing Sisel causing her to sweetly shake her head.

"I-I'm not impressive sister Savani, I-I'm.. not a good princesses an-and sharing sweets and looking at pretty souls are the only things I'm good at? I-I mastered magic and entered The Sacred realm bu-but I don't like hurting others"

"S-So I-I'm not a very good princess, but I'm happy you think I'm impressive! Thank you sister Savani"

Sisel sweetly thanked, before then happily kissing her cheek surprising everyone even further, to be able to reach such feats and passing off her mastery of souls as something that wasn't impressive and genuinely believing such a thing.

While after Sisel had purified and cleansed her soul and removed such a mark while leaving that of a mark of secrecy that not only hid her past relating to that of Senex but also politely warned others not to examine her soul or rather not her memories or attempt to go even further.

Which in itself was a mark that ensured by tradition meant such secrets shouldn't be revealed even to that of The Starlight Elves?

While Savani knew how special Sisel truly was, what she did was what very few could have done without reaching that of The Queen of The Starlight Elves or saints.

Of course, she made it near mythical while the marking of secrecy itself was something no ordinary princess could have been capable of doing.

Giving markings of approval was one thing but removing or adding any other was off the table since they simply weren't allowed to. Causing Savani to adorably nibble on her cookie having not truly cared after all.

In truth even if she knew all of this it was simply empty knowledge to Savani, and outside of being shameless or adorable she simply wanted to live her best life.

However not that she had a pureed bloodline and could technically being considered a real princess and protected by that mark..

That meant she could be either of those things! Causing Savani to happily munch down on her cookie and laying her head on Sisel's shoulder. While soon enough the young prince adorably whispered into her ear while hugging her arm.

Causing Sisel to adorably contemplate herself, before then sweetly nodding before then looking through his memories after he offered a direct link.

Which naturally resulted in a sweet sound of giggles while only taking some glimpses and looking over his trials having not believed in being nosey or taking advantage of her sweet hero.

"You-Your mommy is so pretty! An-And your sisters are the cutest! I-I wish I'll be able to see the same future an-and share my snacks with them!"

"I-I'm so happy! An-And you've already completed The Starlit Trials, bu-but you'll have to wait to receive the reward until you've returned to your future?"

"Bu-But don't worry I'll be there to conduct the ceremony! Bu-But until then.. I-I want to reward you"

Sisel sweetly promised, before then sweetly kissing his forehead before then happily hugging him as much as she truly could.

"I-I can't wait to share snacks with Aurel in the future! I-I'll forever share my snacks with you!"

Sisel sweetly giggled, causing the young prince's heart to melt and Kassandra to slightly smile.

However soon enough he remembered Keira's plans and his promise to Silvy causing Kassandra to softly reassured him that no matter what happens his safety and her promise will forever remain on her mind.

And soon enough the young prince had returned to Silvy's Shrine, however seeing as Sisel had been stuck within her palace for so long,

And because she was shyly trying her best to work up the courage to ask him if she could join him, ultimately resulted in Sisel happily tagging along.

She was simply happy to be outside, not to mention the feeling of fresh air and the view of nature was simply luxuries she wasn't afforded for the longest of time due to her impending death becoming the ultimate party pooper.

Causing the young prince after putting away the teleportation crystal to lovingly smile, her reaction alone was priceless! She was simply so happy!

To breath in the sweet scented air that the cherry blossoms produced without her lungs burning, to walk around freely without the feeling of sheer pain.

All of which was simply things she never believed she'd be able to experience after being cursed.

Causing the young prince after finally seeing her in perfect lighting to try his very best to hide his stubborn blush.

Sisel was simply gorgeous, as was her personality and nature. Thankfully before arriving via the teleportation crystal, Sisel had taken a bath, eaten, and dressed into her official attire she hadn't worn in years.

Albeit after she removed her insignias due to time related reasons? Meaning she had ultimately transformed quite a bit and looked much healthier and even happier.

Of course, she was always happy despite her circumstances, but it was the equivalent of a dying kitten.

But now she sparkled, she was simply a peerless beauty like his mommy and Kassandra!

She wore a mythical white dress covered in shined ornate starlight silver laces, white bows, and starlight pearls, flowery white hair ornament, starlight white necklace with an especially gorgeous starlight silver gems and boots.

Complimenting her long sparkling white hair, fluffy brows, soft elf ears and starlight white eyes with traces of starlight silver, and soft angelic features.

Giving her the charm of a sweet mythical being that radiated sheer warmth and kindness.

Causing her after noticing to sweetly smile and the young prince's heart to beat as butterflies ravaged everything else all the while forcing him to shyly look away as to hide his now noticeable blush.

And prompting her to sweetly smile before then teasingly pulling him into her kind embrace, unfortunately after doing so the young prince's mind as if acting on its own voiced his innermost thoughts.

"Marr-Marry me-"

The young prince shyly mumbled before then immediately cutting himself off and covering his mouth, surprising Sisel albeit for a moment before then sweetly nodding.

"One day my most precious hero.. b-but until then.. I'll learn what this era has to offer and become worthy of my hero first! Bu-But that'll be our secret?"

Sisel sweetly teased, causing the young prince's blush to break its limits and him to quickly become flushed. Nothing she said was a lie.. causing him after several moments to ignore his lie detector or whatever his bloodline told him.
