I'm a Piano

Chara huffed out pout. "Hey, don't ignore me.." Chara chuckled to Frisk's flashback. How long until this child would break? Oh, it then interested Chara, what if Frisk was to tell Sans the truth? "You know...You could always talk to someone about these troubling thoughts." oh now Chara was just steering drama out of curiosity. "I wonder how Sans would react, hehe.. If he knew the truth....would he kill you? Resent you? Trust you? You know....you can NEVER tell him the truth, right? He'll HATE you..." Surely Frisk couldn't ignore them now. Chara was right, who knows how Sans would react if he was told the truth about resets.

'Here is my Puzzle" the two skeleton's turned to lock there sights on the human. Papyrus listened to the child's choice of words for a puzzle. He wore a dumbfounded look. Silent as he accumulated the words the human spoke as Sans on the other hand had a bead of sweat trailing down the side of his head. "Well this should be good" the puzzle itself through Sans off. He didnt expect the kid to be so creative in such impeccable timing.

"Nhehhhhh...Uhhhhh...." He turned to face Sans. Sans winced upon being spotted by Papyrus.

""Hmmm...I give up." the moment Sans spoke of a white flag. Papyrus face floored the snowy ground. He then lifted his head up to complain, "Dang it brother! Stop being lazy!"

"Hehe! What? I'm BONE-dry of ideas, bro." chuckling at his own joke, he turned to the kid and shrugged, "Okay then..What are ya?"

Frisk hesitantly looked over at Frisk when they were told not to ignore them and simply made a blank expression when they had spoken of the troubling thoughts and who they could confide with. This spirit made of hate which embodied the form of Chara seemed to be rather annoying and it was fused with Frisk, which was depressing. Sans... Wouldn't hate me. He'd mistrust me... Right? He'd still be my friend, right? The human looked at the ground slightly and swayed a bit; making crunching sounds in the snow using their feet. Chara is just trying to provoke you, its his nature. Whether you are going to try and revive them with what remains of their absorbed soul or not, they will not get better until they're whole again. Its the same with the Flower. Frisk held a nonchalant expression now as it appeared that they dumbfounded not just Papy, but also Sans. That was actually rather surprising, though if Sans did help, it wouldn't have been Papyrus who've won.

Giggling lightly at San's joke when he had spoken of being bone dry of ideas before asking what they were, the child simply smiled at them for a few moments. They were tempted to give them another chance and a hint to accompany it, but that would take too long and Frisk was afraid they might just get frost bite. Well, they had to get this done and over with. "I am a Piano." The human stated victoriously, folding their hands behind their back. Looking over Sans for a few moments, wondering if Papyrus noticed he lost weight. Boy, that'd be awkward.

Chara only gave Frisk a shrugged with their cheeky smile of misfortune. Allowing Frisk to ponder on the 'what if's'. In the mean time, Chara turned to look at the undead brothers. Both not getting the answer, meaning Frisk one the puzzle without much effort made. Chara smacked their lips to see they gave up rather easily. Hell, the child was even

Sans' white pupils faded to nothing as he let out a chuckle. "Heh! Nice puzzle, Kiddo." he applaud. As for Papyrus he dramatically fell backwards into the snow to his defeat. Seeing this made Sans smile even more. Now was his chance,"No wonder I didnt get the puzzle..." Papyrus looked up as he turned to look at Sans in the corner of his eye sockets. "Nyeh?! Why?" Papyrus was curious to why his own brother couldn't figure the puzzle out. But of course, he only walked into Sans' pun-filled trap. "Because....I prefer the Trom-BONE, Teheheh!"

Silence lingered in on Papyrus. "Kill me now..." he sarcastically wished. Oh but the puns wouldn't stop there. Papyrus only setting himself up for more failure. "Aw come on, Bro! Killing you would be a little impossible...so you have NO BODY to volunteer."

"Heheh! the comedian is funny for that one. Ironic isnt it, Frisk ?"

"SANS! PLEASE! UGH...Fine Human..You have out bested me this time." he admitted. Lifting himself up from the snow and dusting himself off of any left over stuck to him. "Anyways..You are in LUCK, little human! I, the great papyrus, specializes in the best spaghetti in the underground!" he then leaned down as he picked the child up, plopping it on his left shoulder. "NOW! Come human! I shall treat you to the most spiced spaghetti you ave EVER tasted!" And papyrus choice in words were right, he planned to give Frisk the most hot-filled spaghetti they've ever had. Sans winced to his words.

"Uuuh, wait bro! I don't think it meant spicy.."

"Nonsense, Sans! The human said 'HOT' so I shall give it HOT! Come brother!" he took the lead with following the path to Snowdin. Sans on the other hand sighed and shrugged. "Welp..I tried." he then followed after Papyrus as the tallest brother carried Frisk on top of his shoulder with ease.

Frisk stood there looking up at the Papy before glancing over at the Sans when he had complimented and applauded the puzzle. Smiling happily, the child would clap slightly before blinking a few times watching as Papyrus fell back oh so dramatically only for them to get another flash back of when they decapitated Papyrus and watch them turn to dust before returning to reality. Their happy smile disappeared for a moment as they stood there blinking and looking at their hands again, this time without expression. They were completely spaced up until Papyrus said 'kill me now,' only for Frisk to stare at Papy for his use of words, their leg slowly moving back a bit as if they were going to walk away, but stopped and laughed a bit at Sans joke and nodded in agreement with Chara. Standing straight again, the human would put their hands behind their back again.

Though as soon as the larger skeleton placed the human on their left shoulder, Frisk wrapped their arms around the top of Papyrus's head, not wanting to fall. Which was ironic since they came to the Mountain of Ebott to fall in the first place. They didn't expect to survive the fall. Was that the driving point? Blinking a few times in thought, as soon as they heard spicy the human looked down at Papyrus and let out a sigh when Sans. "Pretty sure hot and spicy are two different things. Would it be easier to say I want the spaghetti to be steamy? If its too spicy, I might not be able to breath." The human tried to continue off of what Sans tried to say to his brother, before glancing over at Sans himself.

Unlike in the Judgement Hall, when Frisk opened their eyes, they were currently a hazel brown which shifted from yellow to green every now and then depending on what they were wearing. Since they were currently in light colored clothing, their eyes were a light greenish-brown with a yellow tinge to them. Maybe they could go to where they wanted after this, the place where they could get something to drink or eat, if that was even possible after eating Papyrus's food.

"By the way, Papy. Who else has had your spaghetti?" The human would ask aloud with their head lolled to the side as the Skeletons were bringing them to their home.

Chara mumbled in slight irritation as Papyrus freely plucked Frisk from the ground and holding the child on his shoulders. Chara was a little irritated by these glitches. Looking to Frisk as the child was only feeding more into this charade. Chara decided to join the child as they hovered to Papyrus' free shoulder sitting with their left leg crossed on top of there right. "Hmmph.." the transparent child huffed to Papyrus silly mindset in confusing the word 'hot' for 'spicy. Though, he did have a point; just different views on it. Chara simply rolled their eyes and looked forward as they were now traveling on ward to snowdin.

Papyrus smiled happily as the child wrapped their hands around his head. Listening as the child explained theirs elf in not wanting spicy, instead steamed. "AH! Now that I can do, human!" Papyrus asked. He then held a steady pace as his boots crushed against the thick white snow to the town. They just passed the sign as the tall skeleton listened to the human's question. "Oh! Well, Sans always enjoys my cooking.." Sans was walking behind the two with his head tilted down. He only listened to the two with a large smile on his face. He was happy to know they were getting along. He was a bit iffy about introducing his brother to a human, but now that Sans knows the child was not a treat, he could let his mind rest from worrying so much. He then peaked up as he heard his name. Listening as Papyrus stated he enjoyed his meal. Sans shrugged in agreement. It wasnt the best, but its the thought that counts. He cared deeply about his younger brother, even though he could be a little too nice. The conversation between Frisk and Papyrus continued.

"Oh! Then there's Undyne! She loves her spaghetti cold of course, but I know how to cook it in any temperature the human would like." it then dawned on Papyrus, the child had already nicked named him, but what was the child's name? "Human. Do you, by any chance, have a name?" of course, if the human didnt, he would happily nick name them something to match their wits and adorableness. Who would have known, humans could be quite delightful companions.

Just as the four (including Chara) enter the town, monsters of all races, rabbits, dogs, etc looked to the bone brothers who traveled in with a new arrival. Those who spotted the child would have their eyes widen in shock or their heads tilted in disbelieve. A human in the underground...was this their salvation? The people of the town cheered silently and gossiped among each other about the seventh soul has arrived to help save them from the underground.

Chara listened in on a near by conversation and narrowed their eyes. "I don't think this was a good idea....." they murmured. Now that the timeline has changed, and changing rather quickly, things would become unpredictable for Frisk and Chara.

Frisk remained seated on the skeleton's shoulder, hugging the upper region of his head still not wanting to fall off whether or not they were held there. Though they probably prefered to be in Sans jacket, which would have probably hid them from view. Though with this display of them walking into Snowdin could possibly make things either better or worse. The problems they could come across would either increase or decrease. However, this would most likely have solidified a friend and friend defense against people whom might want to do Frisk harm. The human blinked when the taller skeleton spoke, "Frisk," the kid said, "Frisk's the name."

As they entered the town, what the human was hearing probably wasn't for the best? They knew a human soul could help them, at least that is what they've been told. A human soul could very well help in destroying the barrier, but they have been sealed away for so long, they don't know whats waiting for them. Plus, even if Frisk were to die because of all these errors, the timeline would reset and the attempt at suicide would have somewhat succeeded.

Who knows, maybe it will pay off Chara, the human thought to themselves in response to what Chara had said after hearing the surrounding conversations. Which was probably rather good for an observation. At least they would believe the human was harmless. There are most likely monsters out there that will not take to Mercy.

"So uh... Why do humans need to be captured?" The human would question with a tilt of the head and a brow arched. The human never really understood even from what information they gathered from the previous run, why is it that the humans had to be captured?
