Dear Kevin Eugene,

You have been shortlisted for the final stage before you can join the FC Barcelona football academy.

Kindly attend the tryouts and send a return mail if you will be available on the day.

VENUE: Teslim Balogun Stadium Complex, Surulere, Lagos, Nigeria.

DATE: Thursday, 1st December, 2022

TIME: 9:00 am prompt.

I was so joyous when I read the mail and I couldn't believe my eyes. I had been selected to tryout to be a member of the academy of one of the best clubs in the world.

Before I knew it, I had a panic attack. Many thoughts were running through my head. My dad calmed me down with his most encouraging speech, "You are the best footballer in the world, the world just needs to know that. You are #BossMan". As I listened to my dad I resulted that all I needed to focus on was training and to give it my best.
