Chapter 99: Luna's Obsession. (Final)

Karin calmed down but she still looked at her grandfather with a little wariness, seeing her acting cautious against him. The old man could not help but smile wryly and scratch the back of his head as he tried to change the topic.

"Umm- So what did you want to ask?" he asked with his signature grandfatherly smile.

Karin sighed and asked, "What was that attack?"

Hearing the question the Daiki Kurosaki sighed and looked towards the sword Luna was holding, it was starting to crack at some ends.

"That was the peak of swordsmanship our family used to pursue but since we awakened Sword related abilities many forgot about it and it disappeared in history. This was not a technique but an attainment in swordsmanship."

"Not a technique?" Karin mumbled in shock as she looked at the distant figure of her friend.

"Yes It is called Sword Intent. The peak of swordsmanship." The old man sighed once again as he looked towards the stage, a strange glint flashed through his eyes.

'I also have been trying to pursue this peak my whole life and yet I have never gotten to even have a glimpse in it. Today I have finally seen it with my own eyes. Maybe I will be able to learn it too now.' he watched with full concentration as he saw Luna charging forward at full speed.

Evan who was still in the shock of his attack being destroyed suddenly felt his body flying in the air and hitting a hard surface.

"You, a mere Insect wants my big brother? Do you think I will Let you off easily when your father tried to kill us both with that poison. At first I was thinking Where did it come from? Thanks for telling me."

Luna's cold voice reached Evan's ear. It seemed like his heart was in turmoil when he heard his father tried to assassinate the person he loved too.

In the room assigned for the Smith family, head of the Smith family, John Smith clenched his hands breaking the glass of wine in his hands.

He looked coldly at the woman trembling while kneeling on the floor.

"It's not my fault master, I had watched as he ate the poison myself. I know for sure he ate it!!" She repeatedly tried to reassure him but the man did not seem to care about her words and waved his hand.

Suddenly the voluptuous woman turned silent and her head fell from her neck to the ground. Without turning to look at the men standing in the back John ordered. "Take the body away, use however you guys like and investigate how they survived the poison."

He got up from his seat and cast a last glance at his son lying on the ground of the arena and thought. 'I need a new Heir.'

When he walked out of the room the men suddenly started looking at the body of the woman like a wolf and removed their clothes before walking towards her.

On the stage Evan's face paled as he saw Luna coming closer towards him. In fear Evan slammed several gale slashed in her direction which Luna slashed through easily.

She just waved her sword using the tiniest amount of sword intent on it and cut through the slashes like a knife through butter.

As Luna slashed through all of the strikes, Evan's face turned more and more pale. He was using his ether at an alarming rate and his fear clouded his judgment.

Luna arrived in front of him and slashed across his chest causing his Armor to rip off and blood to gush out.

"Aahh!!!!..No, I cannot die. I wanna live with him."

Evan declared in horror as he fell to the ground and Luna snorted in return.

She gazed deep in his eyes with her hollow one. Evan froze in fear and felt a chill rush up his spine.

"Do you think I would let you die that easily?" Mockery was evident in her tone as she raised her sword.

She secretary used her yin energy inside the sword and cut, she stabbed her sword in the veins ether flowed from and the amount of pain Evan faced was like something even worse than what a woman experiences giving birth.

"Where did the insect like you gather the courage to look at my brother?" she spoke and stabbed her sword through the gaps between his knee cap.

"AHHH!!!!!!!"

"How dare you get between me and my brother. hmM~" her voice was no longer cold, it was more emotionless and melodic at the same time. Luna did not even look at the horrified and screaming face of the boy as she continued to stab in various places.

"HMmm~~ Hmmm~~" after some time she started singing a melody and did not even notice that the boy had stopped breathing long ago let alone stop screaming.

The ground did not dare to interrupt nor did the commentator dared to announce anything.

It was not until she heard the voice most dear to her saying 'It's enough Luna.' did she let go. She looked at the dead body and saw that she had unknowingly started carving on the man's body.

What she carved was the name of her brother.

"What did I do!" she gasped in horror. Everyone thought she was suffering a panic attack because of how cruel she was but her next action spoke otherwise.

Luna immediately used her sword again with sword intent. After destroying every single bit of his body did she sigh in relief.

"Trash like you don't even deserve the name of my brother on you." saying that she walked down the stage leaving everyone shocked and speechless.
