As he took a hold of himself Keiran heard the voice of the man who bumped into him.
"I am sorry, Your Highness, I should have seen you there." The man spoke in a gentle and warm tone yet it sent shivers in Keiran's spine.
His voice made him freeze for a moment as his gaze locked on the now standing man in front of him. A towering six foot tall man with sharp features, dark eyes.
He had an outline of thin black eyeliner.
His black suit complementing his long wavy gray hair. His bow made them sway with gravity.
He looked at Keiran and the apologetic expression still etched on his face.
His face didn't give any sign of deception or trickery. But the red aura that was surrounding the guy was speaking another thing.
Keiran felt suffocated in the presence of the dark red aura.
He felt that it would consume him at any second.
"Did something happen Mr.Bove? Are you alright Keiran?" Airon approached them with his wives as Luna, who had hurriedly held Keiran's arm to support him, now relaxed a little due to their presence.
She, like him, was feeling the same thing.
Her body couldn't move and a sense of powerlessness dawned over her just like her brother.
"I am honestly ashamed that I accidentally bumped into Prince Keiran. I hope you do forgive me." Airon nodded as he looked at Keiran whose gaze was fixed on the man in front of him with any change in them.
" It's fine, Since no harm is done you can take your leave." With that the man bowed once again not before stealing a glance at the twins.
"May we meet again, your highness." With that the man turned and approached his subordinates waiting for him nearby.
"You two can go back to your room as well." Hearing those words the twins hurriedly took their leave and the red haired boy tried to follow them only to be stopped by a powerful grip on his shoulder.
He felt his doom coming after he sensed a cold atmosphere behind his back, as he turned in a mechanical motion to meet Seraphina's cold eyes.
"You aren't thinking of running away are you. We have a long talk ahead of us. You didn't forget that, did you." Her cold and emotionless words made him gulp in fear as he meekly nodded.
Seeing his approval she took her leave while dragging the boy along with her to her room.
His eyes were lifeless as if contemplating his decision regarding everything he did today. After arriving at the room the twins shut the door and approached the bed to sit on it.
Silence hung in the room as the twins were struggling with their own thoughts.
The reality hit them in the face as they felt the strength of the man. But Keiran was thinking differently, he was thinking about Arion.
Who was said to be the 'strongest'. How strong is he really as he never felt anything other than his aura coming out of him.
System had told him that it was due to his control over ether that he was able to hide it inside his body and once Keiran would be able to harness Ether, he would be able to sense people's ether level.
"He is strong, isn't he?" Luna's words cut through the silence as Keiran nodded with a resolute expression.
She approached him and hugged him from the side. " I'll still kill him. System, did he do something when he bumped into me?"
His words made Luna halt her breath as she anxiously waited for the response from the mysterious entity.
[He….]
Hearing those words Keiran looked outside the window as gazed at the cloudy atmosphere that had suddenly taken over the evening sky with a cold expression.
The water droplets started dripping as the people of the kingdom started to scatter away to take shelter.
As Soon as he left the castle, Mr. Bove made his way towards a narrow alley holding an open umbrella over his head, he stopped beside the turn at a T-point on a straight road.
Water droplets kept banging on the umbrella producing a rhythmic noise which drowned in the alley among the footsteps of people running to take shelter.
He stood there and looked at them but this time his expression was neither warm nor kind, there was only pure indifference in his eyes as he stood there as if waiting for something or someone.
He lit up his cigarette and took a puff while he stood under his umbrella.
" Did you confirm it ?"
Hearing a crooked voice from the hidden in the shadows of the turn in the alleyway, he puffed out the smoke inside of him and replied calmly.
"I don't think he knows anything, his gaze didn't contain any hate or any other feeling, just pure indifference to everything. Unless it is his twin sister. I don't think he cares about anything."
The silence once again descended in the area; only the voice of the rain drops remained. The people have already scattered away.
"That might be a good thing. We can take that as an opportunity to control him, but there is no need to go after them for a while."
His words made the man confused as he asked.
" Why, wouldn't it be better to eliminate them both now and control the dimwit little boy." His words caused the atmosphere to turn cold as he heard a cold and a growl like voice this time.
" Don't forget your position here. We are the one who give command here and you follow it."
As the atmosphere returned to normal the voice continued
" The dimwit you are talking about is already more intelligent than many of his age. So when he reaches old age he would already be very mature and calculative. Besides- " the voice paused as it was speaking and released a sigh only to continue.
"Don't take actions anymore until the day of their awakening. You will be exposed if you make any haste in the plan. That is if you already aren't under the king's watch. That would be all for the day."
*Wosshh*
Hearing the sound of air shifting the man sighed as he leaned against the wall and closed his eyes and started to contemplate something inside his mind.
He stood there like that for a while.
After a moment he opened his eyes and the warm and compassionate look returned to his face.
He walked back in the direction he came from, his steps were heavy as his lonely back disappeared in the hazy mist that the rain had brought along with it.
