Chapter 17: Happy Birthday

It's been four years since the twins had their talk with Seraphina.

Today is the day Keiran and Luna turn five years old.

In these years the twins gained all the knowledge they could get from the library, one could say that they have already thoroughly read the whole library.

They came across several books that explained to them what it meant by the difference between man and woman. They have started to grow aware of each other's differences but that didn't change anything between them.

They still kept on bathing together alone.

They are not that much bothered by being naked in each other's presence. They have been like that since they were born, suddenly changing these things just because they gained knowledge about something they didn't know ment that their bond isn't strong enough.

As they gained insight in this knowledge they came to realize what happened the day their sleep was disturbed when they were one month old.

When they were just a month old their so-called father brought the maid Isabella in their room to have an intimate relationship with her.

He didn't care about the children being there and started having sex with her infront of them when they barely had any knowledge about the world.

They were so disgusted with their father that they couldn't even bear to see his face for a few days.

They roamed the castle and nearby areas in these years out of curiosity under proper protection.

They saw many such scenes involving different people who tried to sneak in some activities in the middle of their work with random people.

They didn't care about the fact that anyone might catch them or they would be seen, they were just too engrossed in their acts while having a depraved expression on their face.

They were once again reminded of the state of the world they were in. As the time went by they grew numb towards others as their attitude towards them turned colder and colder.

They attained knowledge on advanced math, science, etiquettes and manners. The last two were compulsory due to the fact that they were Royalty, they had to learn these things from a very small age. 

They learned etiquette and manners without any difficulties, they even liked it a little due to the refined moments in some of the actions like eating and walking but when they were taught how to talk to others and behave with the noble families they outright ignored them.

They didn't care about the nobles as they didn't deserve their polite behavior.

The world can die for all they care; they only cared about how they behaved with each other and whom they considered family.

Seraphina and Aiden were the only ones they considered as families, since the day of their talk her aura grew warm for the duo to know she had moved on from her difficulties and gained some long lost light inside of her.

Her genuine and sincere care allowed them to open up to her as they started to confide in her little by little. Aiden was growing up as well and he started to learn the basic awareness of the world around him.

His closeness to his brother never faded out but only grew, Luna was getting annoyed a little as Keiran too showed a little affection back to the boy by his actions. She would always take extra time with Keiran as if asserting her dominion.

She would be extra clingy to him which Keiran loved more than anything as sometimes he would deliberately show a little extra closeness to the boy.

Right now they wereKeiran was in the middle of handling the aftereffect of such a situation, inside the bathroom 5 year old Keiran with a height of 4 '9'' feet was sitting naked on the edge of a small pool filled with warm water.

In his lap sat a 4 feet tall girl with white hair hugging his body as her front side faced him and continued to sniff his body at different places. Sometimes she even licked a little and bit to place parks and giggled to herself.

"Brother~~ you shouldn't be close to him, if you want me to act like this just ask~~. for you I'll do it anytime~~"

Seeing this behavior of the girls, Keiran smiled and hugged her even more tightly as he took deep breaths of her own scents as well.

After a few minutes of continuous similar actions they stood up together with reluctance visible on their face, but today was a special day.

Today was their fifth birthday and they had to attend their first public function with all the noble families being present among them.

They moved towards the clothes as Keiran picked up towels and started drying Luna's body with his own hands, his gaze roamed all over her body as Luna felt it being focused on a few spots which didn't bother rather made her giddy inside.

As she grew up her chest also started to bud a little which made them seem like they were pointed towards the outside.

His fingers grazed past her nipples, tickling them a little.

"Don't tickle me~~" she said as she laughed a little. Keiran shook his head and moved to clean the rest.

Moving down on her legs he rubbed all of her body parts thoroughly.

Luna took a towel and mirrored his actions, likewise to his height his body also grew with age, his muscles started to form although barely visible his baby fat was already shaded like that of Luna's. His skin didn't have any excessive fats on it.

Luna dried his body with a soft and careful manner.

After that they helped each other wear a dress assigned to them for their party tonight.

Arion was dressed in a black suit which matched his eyes and contrasting to his hairs.

Luna was wearing a golden gown that draped down to her feet although the gown was not heavy, it was extremely detailed and suitable for a girl her age. They walked out of the bathroom and started to wear their accessories.

" Your Highness, let me apply makeup for today's event. it is an important event so you have to be prepared for it thoroughly."

A maid asked Luna if she wanted to apply makeup but got rejected by her.

"No need, I will be attending the event without any makeup." her voice was as childish as it was cold. the maid bowed her head and decided to back down. Even Erla had difficulties dealing with the twins. What can she do when she already made up her mind?

Luna never really liked to wear makeup especially when she had to dress up for others.

Keiran has also told her that she looks good even without makeup so she doesn't see any need for her to apply it.

After getting ready they took a look at the clock and saw that the time of the party was already drawing near.

Before they could speak any further the door of the room was opened as a figure of green haired walked in with an air of maturity and grace.

As she entered the room, the expression on the twins' face changed to that of indifference in an instant. There wasn't a time she didn't approach them with hidden intentions.

They have already made a defensive wall against her, which even she was aware of but always kept her motherly persona.

" Ara~~ You both look lovely in those outfits~~. It seems i chose the best outfit for you both, you both already look the most good looking duo in the kingdom~~"

She spoke in a motherly yet teasing manner trying to get some emotions out of them. Their indifferent look stung her heart but she ignored those feelings as she always did after that incident.

"Well, here this is a gift I bought for both of you. Happy Birthday~~." In a merry tone she said those words and took out two pendants in two long velvet covered boxes.

The pendants looked rare and expensive with the amount of gold used in making the strings although the strings were not too thick, they held very detailed engraved patterns on it.

But the most eye-catching thing about the locket was the small stone engraved in the middle of it.

The stone, although looked ordinary held some complex designs and engravings.

'What is she planning this time…?' This question kept on running inside Keiran's mind as looked at the necklace which he took from Erla's hands.

In the midst of his confusion he heard a voice, he hadn't heard for a few days.

[ Host that the piece of the meteorite that fell on earth and caused destruction.

It is also the reason all life forms on earth gained access to Ether energy. 

It is formed with the mixture of @&%%& energy and Ether but the amount of ether overwhelms the other energy so most  of the humans gained ether while awakening.]

These words stunned Keiran and Luna, who could also hear this explanation. Looking at their stunned expression, Erla thought they liked the gift and smirked inside her mind.

' What was the name of other energy? Why couldn't I hear it.'

[ It's because of the restrictions on the system I can not go into much detail. You have experienced this energy first hand when you heard my voice.]

Hearing this the scene of Luna's injury came to his mind as anger started budding him, Luna sensing these changes held his hand tightly puzzling Erla with her actions.

The blurry face of the figure covered in dark red aura flashed his mind.

' What is the use of this stone? why did she give it to us?' Luna's question brought Keiran out of his thoughts as his attention was averted.
