"I'm sorry, Qin Chen," Li Yue'er said.
"What are you doing, Li Yue'er? Long Tian kidnapped you. How can you return to him?" Qin Chen asked, his eyes widening in disbelief.
Long Tian's grin deepened as he wrapped his arm around Li Yue'er, pulling her closer to him.
"You see, Qin Chen, Li Yue'er has made her choice. She chose me over you," he said, his tone dripping with mockery.
Qin Chen's eyes widened with anger. "That's impossible! What trick did you use on her? You must have hypnotized her!" he shouted in rage.
Li Yue'er quickly responded, "No, Qin Chen, I wasn't hypnotized by Long Tian. I... I feel safe with him, and I hope you can move on from me. There are plenty of other girls who are better suited for you."
Hearing this, Qin Chen became even more incredulous, utterly shocked. His body went limp, his heart feeling as if it were pierced by hundreds of swords.
