Chapter 4 - Magic Circle

Vasco gets up and started walking towards the front class. He stand in front of the crystal detector and begin touching it. His right hand feel the surge of power coming through it and then the color of the crystal started to change. It went red to black.

"Wow! Fire and dark magic huh? You should be thanking God just now because that is a rare combination of magic. You could be an assassin you know? Anyways next!" Miss Kylie started to call other people names.

The reason Miss Kylie said that because light, dark, time and space magic is a rare magic that people could have the aptitude. It is also considered as one of the gift from the nature or God towards those that have the aptitude of the magics.

While Vasco went to the front of the class. Peter were in his own thought "Humprey? I think I had heard father said that name before."

Vasco sat down and then the magic detect test continued for a while until the last person. Peter got some balanced magic which is lightning and earth. After that Miss Kylie said "Now that you guys know what your magic aptitude is, we will learn how to control mana and create the magic circle." She shows her hand and with her index finger pointed upwards and then comes a circle of magic which had a simple pattern and then muttering slowly to herself "Light.". Somehow on her hand there is a little fire burning without hurting her finger. "As you can see, this magic is a simple magic called 'Light' that can lighten up your surroundings. Although it may not be that bright like light magic but it is also useful in case you don't have any light mage in you squad or team. Remember what I told you that controlling mana is important? That is because if you let you mana flow to the magic circle without controlling it then it will be like this." Suddenly the small fire from her index finger became bigger and hotter that it almost reach the ceiling of the class while making the students who sits in front of the class terrified. Then the fire disappeared. "See? This is what happens if you don't control your mana and your mana reserves in your body will be emptied faster. Now then, any questions?" She asked at her students while smiling.

"Can we create magic that our predecessors have not created and how do we even create the magic circle?" Someone raised his hand and asked.

"Yes we can but only geniuses or luck can a new magic circle be created." She replied.

"Does our mana reserves have a limit? Or can we train our mana reserves to get bigger?" a fat boy asked while chewing a gum.

"That is a nice question indeed and my answer is yes and yes. Why? Because there are records of a person trained his mana reserves and somehow it stops at his limit even though he kept training and there are also an old records that a person can have bottomless mana reserves just like our first king which is King Max known as The Chaos King." She hugged her body that highlight her huge boobs which makes the boys in the classroom drooled watching the scene.

A girl with spectacle and freckles raised her hand "Is there a way to train our mana reserves?" she asked.

Miss Kylie the replied "Yes there is two way to train your mana reserves. One is to use or train your magic every time, everyday for the rest of your life until you get to your limit. The second one is a bit hard which is you need to battle and get in a life and death situations. Many prefer the former than the latter because it is safe and no harm done but some magician with resolves takes the second option because your mana reserves will get bigger faster." She smiled. Vasco look at her and then felt cold in his spine because it reminded him of his father when he was thinking of doing something dangerous while trained him. "Seems like some of us won't even be alive at the end of the year."

Class ended at afternoon and the student was dismissed. Vasco and Peter walks to their academy cafeteria and starts to queue up to order food. "Hey I wonder what might happen at the next class." Peter said curiously.

"You mean the aura class? I'm very sure the teacher will teach us on how to activate our aura." Vasco replied and pushed Peter to the front. "Now it's our turn to order, go now."

The first year students have 5 classes which is Basic Magic, Aura, Magic Battle, Hand to Hand Combat class and Qi Gathering. One class per day started from Monday to Friday and then they had their own free time.

"So we have our own free time. Where should we go? I suggest we go around the academy or go visit the other cities." Peter asked with high spirit.

"Nah you go by yourself. I want to sleep after this and be on my own." Vasco replied while stuffing his mouth full of food.

"WHAT?! We have our own free time and you wanted to sleep? Let's go sightseeing or pick up some ladies or just go shopping or something." Peter feel dispirited.

"I'm too lazy and I have my own things to do after this." Vasco replied.

"What do you mean you had things to do? Fapping while watching porn? Fucking some girls? or are you gonna sell your holes? and for the LOVE OF GOD EAT SLOWLY! NO ONE GONNA FUCKING EAT YOUR FOOD!" Peter yelled while banging the table bringing themselves some attention.

Vasco stops eating and looks around. "Can you please shut the fuck up and don't be such a dick? Fine! I'll go sightseeing with you for a week starting tomorrow sounds good you son of a bitch?" Vasco then continued eating.

"Now that is some good news. I don't want my friend to be lonely and besides I don't have any other friends for now other than you hehehehe." Peter gets up and said. "I'm finished so I'm gonna go first so see you tonight."

Vasco looks at him at a glance and replied "Yeah see you tonight. If there is anything just call me." Vasco finished his meal and walks away.

After he arrived at his room, he sat down on his bed and starts to ponder. "I have been wondering about the weird words lately. Let's test this." He then said "Stats" and then something pop out in front of his eyes.

Let's try Inventory." and then somehow there is a small interface of many empty slot and one black hole in front of him. He decided to take the chair and put it in the black hole and then the chair disappeared.

"I guess it can stored items and it has a limit but I wonder how big of an item can it stored." he then put his hand in the black hole and think of the chair. Then the chair appeared. "Now then let's try scan" then information about the chair came out.

"So it shows about the targeted information. This is useful if I wanted information about enemy or beasts." Vasco then continued to 'Equipment' but nothing happened. "I wonder if it is something that I need to unlock or it is just broken." The sky is dark and after the try and error, he felt tired and fell asleep.
