Chapter 31: Beating the Fifth Best

The fact that she had to walk out surprised her. Everybody loved a hot nurse, she knew that as everyone just stared at her lewdly, even that guy next to him stared at her. In addition, it's mainly the reason why she still has this job.

She does not have a professional degree but an ok degree form an ok school. But what kept her going where she looks, and so she got the job. She knew she would get old and people would not find her attractive, so she just learned from all the mistakes she made.

She was also confused how she got the job as its her first job and had not so good qualifications, alas she still got the job.

Its always the looks.

She sighed.

All the times she did they would not mind. The nurse felt uncomfortable about what happened to the boy. Then a bit later, before she could go in, there were the detective and boys carrying injured people.

This made sense to her as she could work out that there was a fight, normally one person a day came to her, rarely two, but multiple people came once in a blue moon. She walked over to then, "hello, detective, was there a fight?"

She asked, acting cluelessly.

He replied, "yes, however I did not see it."

She nodded, "hurry up then, please, the patient needs treatment," she waved her hand at the door. They did so, they took small glances at her, tried to stay conspicuous but failed.

So it's not my looks.

She knew some people don't stare at her, but they are all above twenty like the detective, being twenty one years old. They all went in in the order: Adam, peach, apple, detective then Charlotte.

She looked around to see if anybody else was there, it was empty as a ghost town. She walked in, they placed the unconscious bodies on the beds. Then she walked up to them, "thank you so much boys, now can you please leave?"

They took a long look then left, and when they left the room they talked about what they saw, not hiding the fact. The detective sighed and the nurse sighed, knowing this happened a lot.

Charlotte just looked puzzled, but looked at Eader." that is the kid I saw," she saw Samuel next to him, giving a puzzled look. Then the nurse called him over, "here," she gave a paste, "smear this everyday on your face and the bruises will go away."

Samuel nodded, blushing then left. Now it was silent until Eader broke it, "this is meant to be a school for prestigious people and posh people, right?"

All gave confused glances, but Charlotte laughed. The nurse just looked away, and the detective smiled, "so, you are gonna ask me about that place?" He was completely different than that night.

The nurse sat down, snooping on the conversation.

"You were the person that attacked the warehouse, right?"

Charlotte got confused but understood it.

"Yeah," this surprised the nurse.

The kid attacked a warehouse.

"Why then did you give off being kidnapped, and act innocent?"

Her hands were on her hips, Eader gave a cheeky smile, "Um, well, I was scared that I might get into trouble, and you might think I am a kidnapper."

The reason was logical for the detective, "any how, can you tell me what you found out," Charlotte was shocked and impressed, mainly because she got tricked by him.

She then explained everything which confused the nurse completely, but made a simple deduction.

Maybe, the kid is like the detective, no, he stared at me the first time we met.

She still thought about closing her eyes.

Eader spoke, "then one got away," she replied, nodding.

Eader got a thought, "tell me the name of the corpse in the room," this confused the detective but she understood.

"It's Jimmy *****."

Eader's eyes widened, and both knew he knew him, "who is he?"

The detective said it, calmly, since it was personal, but he laughed.

"That guy deserved it," he took a long deep breath, and winced in pain, giving Charlotte a sociopathic feeling," he was a person that stalked me, and when I caught him, he lied like a rat's tail, but he actually told his real name."

Charlotte gave a giddy gaze at the detective. He sighed, accepting that her guess was right.

"But there is another guy," that caught the attention of both.

"There was a guy, his sword was green," he stopped to take a breath, "green, it could be the guy that I fought."

He carried on, "but it was Jimmy that I fought," he then got confused.

Eader remembered something the mysterious man said, "he might have the ability to copy a person's face, but I am not sure," this then made her also remember something, "ok, I think I get it, thank you very much, we have to go now sadly, bye," they both left the door, as the detective was too befuddled to do anything.

"Why did we leave?" hissed the detective aggressively.

"We know that that Changer guy is him, so we don't need any more info."

He sighed, but thought about it and accepted it, "let's go," leaving the nurse and Eader both awake there. He cursed in his head, and then played his head down.

The nurse felt annoyed as her looks and body made him not look, affecting her genuine pride she discovered a few minutes ago. She spoke, "hello, um, can I check you up, as it is my job," she smiled innocently, making the Eader look at her, sighing he said, "fine."

This still annoyed her, but she took it positively.

He leaned forward out of bed, and she rolled over on the office chair. She examined his body, as he took off his shirt, covered in rashes, "how do you get this?"

He pointed at Adam, then she finally realised that he fought Adam, one of the school counsellors.

She was not surprised, as she did not like him. She nodded and then she examined it more closely, seeing a few minor cuts.

He did a good job minimising the damage.

As she examined him far away, Eader checked.

Where is the sword?

"If you can summon it, you can leave, and I will give you just a cream."

Eader could not find it, then he thought someone must have taken it, so he thought but he did not drop it. So it meant Samuel had it, but he did not take it.

Now that I think about it, my hand was getting lighter and lighter.

Eader said," I can't summon it," he said sadly, she nodded, "you have to stay here then, and I will let you go, when you are better or when it's 7.00."

she looked away, so he just fell asleep.

The floor was smooth and plastic, the walls were nicer being bright white, and it had a few bumps with robust concrete keeping the tiled grey floor up, there were seven hospital beds, all with their own curtain, blending in well with the room.

The beds were normal hospital beds but they were cleaner, as the nurse cleaned them once a week. And the woman was typing away doing her work as a school nurse, but noticed something.

As the floor was fairly light, it was easy to notice odd things like a pet hamster (a student, who was being treated brought on in, the nurse found her and everyone knew that).

However this was not an animal, it was a pile. A pile of ash and dust, but it looked like there were bubbles at the bottom.

What's that?
