<Luna>
I shot up from the cold ground. I had forgotten where I was and freaked out for a bit before remembering. Not that it made my situation any better..
Looking over at Estrella, I find myself slowly calming down. She had her head against the wall as she slept. Her mouth was slightly open but she didn't snore like me. Yes, I know I snore and It's not my fault!
It's so odd how by just looking at her, I feel more at peace just by knowing she's close to me.
I scooted closer to her cage and rested my head against the bars that separated us.
"Don't get too comfy, moon. I hear footsteps" Terra said from the cage next to me.
After he said that, I started hearing voices along with footsteps. Shit.
"Estrella! Wake up!" I yell
She shoots up with her arm ready to attack, fully alert.
"Weapon down!" One of the guards yelled "Or we split your friends in half"
Estrella laid her hands back on her lap but glared daggers towards the guards.
The guards opened the gates and tied our hands together and forced us out.
We walked down the jail hall and up the stairs. After being temporarily blinded by the sun, I noticed a small building next to the building we were just under.
I looked towards the others to see if they also noticed it as well. Estrella also saw it but her eyes widened. Looking back I finally see why.
Cielo was walking out of the small house wearing different clothes and a scarf to cover his hair.
The guard at the front sees us looking towards the house and notices Cielo.
"Gun! Who told you you could have a guest over?" He yelled
The person who saved the children from yesterday, walks out of the small house. They wore the same armor as last time as well as the helmet. They bowed and said "I'm sorry for not informing you but he had no place to go and thought I should help.
"Whatever. Just don't let him get close to us" the guards said
The guards pulled us towards the front of the house and walked into town.
<Cielo>
Thank goodness they didn't recognize me. All I wanted was to stretch outside while Gun was changing. After sleeping in a crowded barn for a whole night, I felt cramped. Although, I didn't know the guards would be so close. Or even right next door! But at least I found the others quickly.
"Those were your friends right?" Gun asked
I whipped my head towards him and asked "How did you know?"
"Well I do now." He said "And your sister looks just like you"
"Yeah. We're often told that" I said "Please don't tell the guards. We just wanted to pass through here. We don't mean any harm"
"Don't worry. My loyalty isn't to the guards, as much as they think it is" he said
I looked back at the others who were being taken around to the front of the house.
"Where are they taking them?" I asked
"The leaders are going to decide what to do with them" he replied
"Are they going to hurt them?" I asked
"I'm not sure" he said
"Isn't there anything we can do"
"…I'm not sure"
I started walking in the direction of where the others were taken. I felt Gun tugging on my arm.
"Wait. You can't just march in there. You need a plan." Gina said
"That is my plan" I said and shook off his hand "We've only just met. You don't know what I would do for the people close to me"
As I continued walking, I heard him sigh and start following me.
After we turned the corner of the house I turned back towards Gun.
"Where do you think that went?" I asked
"All that talk and you don't know where they are?" He asked
"Just tell me left or right" I rolled my eyes
He grabbed my hand and pulled me with him "Just follow me"
We walked into the center of the town where my sister and the others where chained up to a large stick in the ground in the middle of the town.
A short and stubby man walked in front of them and pulled out a piece of paper. He started reading off the paper.
"Just a few days ago, we found three weapons. Today, we will find out whether they live as soldiers or die a pitiful death"
He raised a hand out towards the three people seated next to him in black robes with a silver lining.
"Leaders, your decision?" The man asked
The man in the middle stood and said "We choose the death penalty"
