Unlike what some might have assumed, no fight occurred.
Jia Bi Yu and the strange baldy shook hands and smiled as they introduced themselves to each other.
They hugged like brothers who haven't seen each other in years, and hand in hand, they skipped back gleefully to the man's home to catch up some more.
Jia Bi Yu met his wife and three children, two boys and a girl.
The baldy insisted that he stayed for dinner, and they happily chatted the evening away.
As they laid down side by side on the baldy's rock hard bed, they stared into each other's eyes, feeling the emotions and sentiments that were welling up in their hearts.
They slowly leaned in closer and closer, their faces now mere inches apart.
Soon, their noses touched and they slowly closed their eyes and with a slight tilt, their lips....
Little Ian swung his tail at that cloud of illusions and shook his head left and right.
Cold sweat poured down his sleek black scales as he threw those stray thoughts that should never be mentioned far into the void.
Back to reality, the bald man ran away as soon as Jia Bi Yu saw him.
Jia Bi Yu stood there not knowing what to do.
Should he follow him?
He took out his phone.
Despite it not being able to receive any signal down here, it still functioned perfectly as a clock.
There was still time before he had to return.
Putting his phone away, he strolled towards the direction the bald man ran towards.
Even if he ran, it was impossible for him to be fast enough to leave Jia Bi Yu's line of sight.
In addition to his much superior speed, mainly his instantaneous movement skill, the bald man could not run away from him.
Jia Bi Yu laughed evilly to himself.
*cough cough*
Soon, he caught up to the bald man.
The latter did not notice his presence and thought that he had successfully run away.
He looked left and right before carefully tapping a few places on a large rock's surface.
After a final tap, the rock slid to the side and opened up to show a dark passage behind it.
The bald man checked his surroundings once again before stepping in.
The rock slid back in place, closing the entrance behind him as soon as he entered.
Jia Bi Yu walked up to the rock and touched the ragged surface, feeling nothing abnormal or out of place.
He placed his ear against it and tried to listen for any sound inside, but only silence returned.
He stepped back and observed it a bit more before copying the bald man and tapping the points he tapped in the same exact order and with the same exact timing in between each tap.
He wasn't sure if doing anything different would have activated some sort of trap device, so he had to be careful.
It was good that he had his powerful memory at the ready.
The rock slid open again and Jia Bi Yu stepped in with caution.
He wasn't sure if it would alarm the bald man when the door opened.
The passage was dark and he did not know how long it was.
Placing a hand on the side for support, as well as some sort of guide, the light suddenly came on, brightening up the whole passageway.
All of those peaceful years on Earth has really dulled his cautiousness.
If it was before, he would have never randomly touched anything, especially walls, in an unknown place.
Those were the typical spots for traps besides the floor.
With a bitter smile, he made his way forward, but this time a lot more carefully.
Fortunately, nothing happened, and soon, he came upon a large open area at the end of the passage.
Stone dwellings can be seen packed into this underground space.
More people like that bald man he had seen were moving about like regular humans, tending to their daily work.
As soon as he stepped foot out of the passageway, he heard a sharp cut through the air that stopped right in front of his throat.
He shifted his eyes down to see a spear sitting threateningly against his neck.
He then looked towards his right and saw a bald man who looked 90% similar to the one he had followed here.
This one, unlike the other, had a fierce and stern look on his face, as he glared at Jia Bi Yu.
"INTRUDER! WHAT IS YOUR BUSINESS WITH OUR BALD HEAD TRIBE?"
The surrounding people all turned to look over at this place when they heard the bald man's shouts.
Jia Bi Yu raised his hands in a surrendering pose.
"I mean no harm," he replied with a smile. "I just followed one of your people here."
The bald warrior pushed the spearhead closer to Jia Bi Yu.
Still keeping his eyes on the intruder, he commanded another bald warrior behind him to go notify the elders.
