Eli's childhood part 4

Checking up, Kyrie held the ball and drove to the right, finishing with the left hand, he saw a huge shadow, 'I attacked his lead foot, and yet his recovery is this fast?' wondered Kyrie as Eli just snatched the ball like a kid snatching candy.

"Damn, what a block."

Eli walked back to the top of the key, looking at Kyrie who was bringing the ball up, he said, "You should've never given me possession."

"What?" asked Kyrie checking up the ball.

Dribbling once, Eli stepped back 6 feet and shot. Just as expected, Eli's shot was money as if a robot shot the ball.

"1-0," said Curry.

Checking up again, Kyrie said, "Lucky make."

Grabbing the ball, Eli swiped through Kyrie's hand check making Kyrie freeze for a bit but Eli had dunked the ball with one step. "Golly, he took one step..." said James Harden.

"2-0"

Retaining possession, Eli crossed right, and seeing that Kyrie bit, Eli spun the other way and stepped back. Being late for the step back, Kyrie almost fell but used one hand to stabilize himself on the ground.

*Splash*

"3-0"

Kyrie being fed up with Eli, finally started to be more physical, handing the ball to Eli, he tried to push Eli out of position but found himself on the ground. Noticing Kyrie on the ground, Eli shot the three and looked down.

*Splash*

"4-0"

Getting up, Kyrie was not finished, "Fine, good shot."

Retaining the ball once more, Eli turned his back to Kyrie. Looking at the camera, Eli said, "Shout out to Kobe and Michael..."

Turning his shoulder, Eli faded to the left and shot the ball. *Splash*

"5-0"

"Bro, are you serious? Are you a god or something?" asked Kyrie laughing.

Eli tilted his head, "No, I am something better," said Eli with no emotions.

"6-0"

Splashing another fadeaway from the free throw line, Kyrie sees that he has no hope of coming back unless he can make sure Eli doesn't hit the next shot. Grabbing the ball, Eli spun it once and dribbled to the right side.

Cutting him off, Kyrie then sees Eli dribble once and spin to the left as he jumps up and tries to contest but the space is too far and his feet are crossed. Tripping, Eli spun into a shot and you know how it goes. *Splash*

"7-0"

"Impossible, he didn't even miss a single shot..."

On that day, Eli 1v1ed every single person in that gym and won...

Walking down the hallway, Eli could feel the whispers, walking beside Eli was Lin who was very impressed. Punching Eli's arm, Jin blushed, 'What mighty arms,' thought Lin gulping.

Looking down at Lin, Eli was a bit confused, nobody had made him talk as much as this boy. 'Am I secretly gay or something?' wondered Eli.

"Basketball is just a hobby..."

"What, you beat Team USA and you say it is a hobby?"

Shrugging, Eli walked out of the school, waiting at the entrance, he was waiting for someone but she wasn't there. Lin popped up from behind him, "Who are you waiting for?" asked Lin looking around.

Suddenly a car stopped in front of the entrance, then suddenly a beautiful woman got out. Blonde wavy hair, with blue eyes as bright as a neutron star. With a figure of a goddess, many boys began drooling.

Walking confidently towards Eli, Lin was confused until she suddenly started to run towards them. Jumping up, Eli caught her in a hug as she wrapped her legs around him. "So, what happened?"

Smelling his scent, Sunny smiled and then she looked down to see Lin...

Squinting her eyes, Sunny knew this boy was not a regular boy. "Oh, I see you got yourself a friend."

Eli turned around and looked at Lin, "I guess, he is Lin Fei, he is a friend."

Jumping off of Eli, Sunny saw the glare Lin was giving her. "Oh, a friend, that's good then, haha!"

Gritting her teeth, Lin smiled, "Yes, I am his friend, who are you?"

Hugging Eli's arm, Sunny said, "Can't you see?"

"Are you his girlfriend?"

Eli smiled, "No, she is my best friend, she is like family."

Lin smiled as she saw Sunny looking down as if she was a bit sad, "That is good then."

Suddenly Sunny and Lin began to glare at each other, sparks flying towards one another as if two cats were about to fight.

"Well, I and Eli have to go home, so goodbye," said Sunny as he dragged Eli to the car. Sending a victory look towards Lin, Sunny flipped her hair.

"Don't tell me...they live together?" asked Lin to herself. Clenching her fist, Lin smiled and walked away.

"What was that for?" asked Eli as they were driving home.

"So, what do you think of Lin Fei?"

Looking down at his phone, Eli answered bluntly, "He makes me feel like myself, I don't know why but he is comfortable to be around with."

"So, you are not comfortable with me?"

Turning his head slowly, Eli gulped, "Um, I mean, other than you, haha."

Sunny smiled sweetly, "That is good then."

Walking into the house after departing from school, Sunny went to her room and locked it. Eli noticing this was quite confused, "Is she mad at me, wait, I didn't ask her about her audition..."

Slowly walking to her door, Eli knocked on it, "How did it go?"

Hearing sniffling noises, Eli began knocking and trying to unlock the door. Suddenly he gets an idea, walking to his room, he takes out a card. Walking back to Sunny's door, he slides the card in between the lock and door.

Fidgeting, Eli opens it to find the room completely dark, while the only light is the lamps from outside of the house. Walking towards the lump in the corner, Eli removed the blankets from Sunny who was a crying mess.

Looking down, Sunny didn't dare to face Eli at this moment...
