I curse you

Upon arriving at the academy, she dedicated herself to working for Professor Jones as a secretary. Between comings and goings to the library, Helga, the director of the archives area, decided to propose her to become a national archivist, but her lack of studies could prevent her from doing so, so she studied tirelessly and with the credentials of Jones and Helga, she agreed to the exams by passing them success, ranking among the top 10 students.

Her path was hard from the beginning but everything was improving in her favor. Nora had just turned twenty and as was customary, her coworkers decided to give her gifts. She was happy and she believed that blind happiness would last. While in the archives room, Orb guided her to a bookcase at the back in the archeology and archaic language section.

She found several books that seemed indecipherable and she took them with her to read in her room. In her books they described her situation with the compass on her arm and that over the years it acquired a definite shape. .

Nora was stunned, she was being told that her brand was a divine symbol and she didn't like the idea

Nora was in the library ordering the latest returns, when a boy comes over to ask about a book. She tells him where to find it and continues with her duties. After a few hours, the boy returns to thank her and they end up chatting for a while about her interests in books and other topics. Both were happy to chat, without noticing that there was a blonde woman watching them furiously.

The young man leaves and the woman arrives to claim Norah. The young woman introduced herself as Princess Charlotte, then indicated that the young man with whom she was chatting was her fiancé Jeremy Lafinour, then she began to insult her and call her in derogatory ways in front of all the student body and then slap her. She did not know what to do with this problem, she concluded that the young woman was the wrong opponent and tried to appease her by diverting the discussion to a less hostile environment.

Charlotte pushed her and Nora almost fell to the ground, but she ended up holding on to Charlotte's clothes by instinct and making her the princess who fell to the ground. Jeremy began to feel terrible about his behavior and trying to forget the guilt he went to meet Charlotte. Nora was frustrated, it was the first time in years that she had a terrible feeling of loss in her heart.

In her room, the orb began to spiral out of control scaring Nora. Over the years they began to understand each other and she was indicating that she prepare to leave her while she pointed to the closet. Tomorrow would be a terrible day and she should have her bags ready. The next day, she went with her suitcases to the library. Helga and Jones had to give her the bad news about her firing and they noticed that Nora was already carrying her travel bags. They gave her the last payment, a letter of recommendation from her and hugged her from her, wishing her a good trip.

When she was walking towards the exit gate, the orb was moving back and forth, warning her of an unpleasant encounter. She slowed her steps and without looking back, she addressed the person behind her.

-You will be satisfied. You and your girlfriend have only brought me trouble. I wish I had not met you and I hope that one day they will pay for the damage that you caused me- Nora finished speaking and moved on

Jeremy wanted to stop her and apologize, but Charlotte showed up and prevented him from doing so, so she gave up on even trying. He saw the back of someone who, deep down, seemed to understand him. Nora never regretted his words and cursed the couple.

The spirit was very upset, she did not think possible to find such shit of people after the dukedom. Nora took the train and headed east. She would try to rebuild her life and continue her investigation.

More years passed and each meeting with new people would go from bad to worse. People not only began to betray her but even attacked her mercilessly. But for every attack she received, the curse of bad luck fell upon them.

Her destiny was proposed to cross her with the least indicated people and who would be the cause of her early death.

The Prince of the Rubins royal family ran into her one day and accidentally discovered her compass mark. Wanting to take her with him, she began a crazy plan to make her his wife.

Nora's repeated refusals only strengthened the Prince's desire to possess her, and in the face of her constant harassment, he ended up hiding her and then savagely raping her.

Seeing an escape route thanks to the orb, she took the opportunity to flee. She ran in pain and as she could she reached the edge of a cliff but that would be the last she would see.

On her deathbed, she cursed the prince, her family, and she wished for her, to have had a more pleasant life. The orb floated desperately and settled on her. Nora began to visualize a woman just like her stroking her head while she cried.

After saying goodbye to her traveling companion, the spirit began to fade.
