Chapter 49: Return to the City

At the edge of City No. 0237, a large group of flying monsters led by a Horde Leader Black Crowned Golden Eagle flew towards the human base city. Among these flying monsters, several had human fighters standing on their backs, laughing and chatting. Next to them, a dark blue saucer-shaped fighter jet accompanied them in flight. Sitting on the back of the Horde Leader Black Crowned Golden Eagle, Qin Mu looked at the people around him and couldn't help but feel speechless. He never expected these guys to be so enthusiastic. After getting their own flying monsters, they no longer cared about the intelligent fighter jets. Even Li Shun, a Wargod expert, was having a blast.

As they flew over a city ruin, Qin Mu glanced at an abandoned subway station not far away. There, the Mother Nest was continuously analyzing more monster genes and hatching more Zerg units. These Zerg warriors were expanding outward along the subway lines, hidden from view.

Further away, a group of newly hatched medium-level Commander rank Iron Armored Crocodiles and high-level Commander rank Purple Lightning Pythons crawled into Taihu Lake. These were the first batch of Zerg amphibious monsters. They would open up a safe area in Taihu Lake for the Zerg to hatch an underwater Mother Nest.

The Zerg would soon welcome its first batch of aquatic units.

Beyond the line of sight, in the wilderness, packs of wolf-type monsters roamed the forests, hunting monsters and bringing them back to the Mother Nest.

The entire Zerg swarm was growing stronger, a scene of prosperity.

The city ruins gradually receded from view. At the speed of the flying monsters, it would only take a few hours to travel from City No. 0237 to the Northern Military District of Jiangnan Base City. The Wargod expert known as Old Tong curled his lips. "I'm anxious to see my more than a thousand flying monsters. Li Shun took a high-level Commander rank Black Crowned Golden Eagle first. That was originally ours from the Northern Military District."

"How did it become yours from the Northern Military District? You're dreaming. Many people are eyeing this batch of monsters."

"So, I have to grab some first."

As the two chatted, a roar of monsters came from the distant sky, and the ground rumbled as if some giant beast was running.

"They're here." Looking at the dark mass of flying monsters approaching from the distance, Old Tong said with a smile.

As the flying monsters arrived, there was a commotion in the camp, but it soon quieted down. Everyone saw that among the group of flying monsters, there was an intelligent fighter jet belonging to the military flying alongside them. Some of the more powerful fighters even saw that there were human fighters standing on the backs of several powerful monsters in the group.

As the group of flying monsters approached, three monsters appeared on the ground from afar, with a Horde Leader monster leading the way. Under the watchful eyes of everyone in the Northern Military District, the group of flying monsters led by a Horde Leader Black Crowned Golden Eagle slowly landed in the square. On the ground, the three Swamp Newts sprinted and entered through the open camp gate.
