Prologue: The Truth

Every single day and night I would pray to be reunited with my family again. That's just wishful thinking though. I would always be trapped in a cage forever. Which is behind the palace walls. I was sent to the Moon Empire to become a concubine for the Empress. In a world where women are superior more than men. 

The women work to bring home money for their families. They can also attend school, join the military, and even be advisors for the Empress. While the men are expected to cook, clean, and even look after the children. Some can't even attend school due to the stigma that males shouldn't be in school. Unless they're from noble families to qualify to join the palace harem. 

  Though the rules to join the harem are very strict. Since only 30 men can join the harem. As the royals have high expectations for each candidate. They need to be passed each test such as sewing, poetry, music, cooking, and everything else. How do I know so much? Especially about joining the harem?

  Well, this is a reverse harem novel that I read to review as part of my job. It became increasingly popular internationally. I've heard great things about it. Which led the company to make us critics read the novel and review it. After reading the final chapter, I must've fallen asleep without realizing it. 

  Now all of sudden I woke up as one of the side characters. That is barely even mentioned much in the novel. Though is one of the protagonist's friends, he helps him defeat the "villain". Which is Imperial Noble Consort Giovanni Bianco. The one and only son of the Bianco family. The defeat of Giovanni led to him being burnt alive at the stake. 

  Happy ending right? The protagonist gets the position of being Emperor. Along with being with his beloved Empress. Wrong, oh so wrong. Came to realize that the protagonist is the true villain all along. He framed Giovanni for multiple schemes and manipulated the Empress to behead all the rest of the men in the harem. Even the ones that help him to become Emperor. Now being reborn before the novel began. Now I will change the ending and help Giovanni to be the true Emperor of the Moon Empire.
