Theo realized that he would have to buy water from other players or else he would get thirsty today, but luckily for him, he had a target in mind. After looking at the world chat, he realized that those players were in isolated places, such as deserts, ice plains, or plains without a forest nearby. Would need wood to build shelters, and he had this in abundance due to being in a forest.

So he decided to post an offer in the commerce area of the menu. He published the following advertisement.

[Wood 25 logs]

[Items to trade: Ice, snow.]

[One unit of log per three units of ice or snow.]

Soon, many of the players from these colder regions were happy to exchange logs with Theo, as with these logs they could create shelters to escape the cold and also fires if they could get stones.

In a few minutes, all the logs were sold and Theo's inventory showed 36 units of snow and 38 units of ice. He now just needed something better to put this ice to melt.

A stone bowl that could be used cost two units of stone, and Theo only had those two left. He was torn for a while about whether he should use it or not, but thirst spoke louder, and he used it.

The bowl appeared in his inventory and was quickly removed and placed on the bonfire stone to heat up, after a few minutes, he removed an ice unit to see what it would be like. It was a slab the size of his hand and a good four centimeters thick.

Pouring it into the bowl, it didn't take long for it to melt and turn into water, Theo let it boil for a few minutes to make sure it was safe to drink. He then called his skeleton and asked him to carefully remove the bowl from the fire and place it on the ground to cool.

He did this because he knew that the hot stone would not hurt his skeleton, and he would not be afraid of the task either. These were another of the blessings of having an undead soldier, they wouldn't be afraid or feel pain.

The soldier returned to his chopping task since they had lost a few units of logs to get water, and he would need to work harder than before. After the water cooled, Theo drank until he felt full and then went back to helping his skeleton, as he now really wanted to be able to create a home and could no longer be content with a temporary shelter.

When it started to get dark, Theo had already taken two short breaks to rest instead of giving it his all and becoming exhausted again. With the help he gave his unit, all the trees closest to the barrier were felled, but for his 360° vision, even more would need to fall.

Once he finished collecting all the trees, he got an impressive 80 logs, which, combined with those left after his sale, would total 110 logs. Passing the goal for building the house, which was great news, as night was coming quickly.

He chose to create the small house in the craft section, and again the projection appeared in his eyes, showing what the house would look like and its size, as well as the space it would occupy. He decided to place it next to the mausoleum to make it easier and faster for his skeleton to come to his defense if something happened.

After selecting the location, the small wooden house was built, and it didn't look very comfortable or welcoming, but it was all he had. Entering the house, he realized that it was actually quite small, consisting of a single room about three meters high, two meters wide and long.

Despite this, he threw himself on the floor in a corner, as he would not be able to make the necessary things like a bed or other furniture. So he would spend his first night in this new world, in which he must survive.

After thinking about how he would do things tomorrow, he took one last look at the regional chat and then went to sleep.

When dawn came, he woke up to the sun shining through the small window in the wall. With that, he got up and left to give orders to his skeleton and take a look at the mausoleum.

As he approached the mausoleum, his skeleton came out and bowed to him, showing reverence, before standing up again. Theo ordered him to finish cutting down the trees, and then the skeleton left to carry out his orders, he then approached the mausoleum and focused his vision on it.

The information from before appeared again, and then the one he was waiting for came.

[The building is full of energy, would you like to recruit immediately?]

[Yes] [No]

Theo didn't think twice before selecting, yes, and the glow of the invocation appeared in the mausoleum. Then another skeleton came out, but this one looked different, in addition to having a bow instead of a sword, he also wore frayed leather armor on his chest that protected him.

Despite not suffering such high damage from slashing or piercing, this skeleton still wore armor. This wouldn't be effective against blunt blows that would be his and, but still, because it was such a shabby armor, Theo didn't consider taking it for himself.

He ordered this skeleton to go hunting, so he could gain experience faster. Before the skeleton left, Theo took a look at its status.

[Skeleton Ranger]

[Level: 1 0/100]

[Skills: Hunt, Track.]

"Well, this skeleton will be perfect for hunting animals and monsters. This is what I needed right now." Theo thought.

Having observed the skeleton's statuses, he let it go, then joined the skeleton in cutting down the trees. He spent half the day like this, stopping occasionally to rest and returning to work.

He also sold more logs to get ice, or rocks he needed to build more amenities like a well to get water.

Theo was selling a unit of log for 3 units of stone, as those in the mountains would have plenty of stone to sell but almost no wood to build shelters.
