IV - [Gray's Magic Trick]

''M-Mommy?..''

Aqua questioned with stuttered voice , she was indeed shock knowing that this soon-to-be son of hers was asking for a mother's love and comfort when she herself never felt that feeling. She could not--no...would not reject the offer of this kid. She was not the only one shocked by the question , Eugene and Scarlet was too.

''I would love to be your mommy!''

Aqua genuinely smiled at her ''son''. Hearing that sentence made Gray smile brighter than the sun itself. They both embraced each other tightly. This is what Gray wanted , everyone deserves to feel this kind of attention. Now that Gray has felt this feeling , he will never let it go. He will make sure to survive through this hell together with his new family.

Eugene and Scarlet's eyes softened as they saw a heart-warming scene infront of them. Aqua finished dressing her son , they all flinched as a voice ringed into the speakers.

''Survivors , Thank you for your cooperation. You are proudly the 7th Batch in this game. As you may all know by now , this is a game where you survive and slaughter any enemies nearby. The Security will handle your team and escort you to our main base to prepare your granted weapons. Please be aware that the limit of how many weapons you could bring or wish for in the battlefield is only two weapons. Anything else will be limited. And of course , we will be handing out backpacks for this whole 6 months trip in this game. Please do your best in this game! Show no mercy or else... ---The tables will turn---... Thank you for lending your ears , do your best to survive and be treated like royalty!"

Her voice ringed in their ears. Aqua harshly started to sweat out of nervousness , Eugene gulped as he tried to relief himself , Scarlet quietly closed her eyes hoping this was all a nightmare and Gray dumbfoundedly stared at the door for no reason. The door was forced open and saw the security waiting for them.

Like an obedient puppies , they all formed a line and walked out of the room without an irritating noise. In the hallways , it looked devastating. Some were crying their eyes out , screaming to the top of their lungs , begging like a slave and fainted. All four of them just silently looked at them , with their eyes filled with pity. They could not do anything other than pity them from a far. Aqua observed them , trying to remember each and every faces she could see.

They arrived to their location. Groups were already there , waiting for the others. These are their enemies. Some looked frightened and very fragile and some looked tough and ready to fight.

As they enter , everyone looked at them. They were the center of attention--more likely , Gray was. Not him alone took the attention , Aqua's reputation and her sharp-looking eyes with a soft cheeks. Eugene's attractive aura and foreign look. Scarlet's intimidating aura that clearly does not match her innocent look. Their presence itself was very special , it made one group hissed at them.

The attention that they have received made them feel uncomfortable. Well , Aqua did not care about them. She was used to it. They were silently looking around and out of nowhere , a group with fierce faces. They innocently looked at them as they got closer , it made the approaching group's leader feel disgusted.

''What can we do to help you?''

Scarlet talked to them with a cold tone. She was not blind to see their intention.

''It's nothing , just did not expect the murderer to be here with such special people''

A man replied to Scarlet while facing at Aqua , he was the 'so-called' leader of their group. He was too obvious. Aqua looked at him with no emotion , Eugene clenched his fists. Gray went behind Aqua. The way that arrogant man called Aqua -'A Murderer' made Scarlet rage in fire.

''Who the fuck are you calling a murderer?!''

Scarlet cursed at him , the arrogant man smiled in satisfaction. Scarlet and Eugene was annoyed at his expression.

''Aqua Violet , obviously''

A girl with such revealing clothes spoke and wrapped her arms around the arrogant man seductively. It made them all feel disgusted just from one look. They cannot believe that these two were together in the same group , same goes for those other two who looks arrogant and disgusting. Was it pure coincidence that they were together in the same group?

''Sorry but we do not accept insults here...''

Gray spoke up with a soft voice , gaining the attention from the arrogant group. Scarlet nervously looked at Gray , same goes for Eugene. It was indeed shocking to hear a child going up against an argument between matured adults. Aqua immediately grabbed his arm and pulled him beside her.

''You talking , kiddo?! Huh?!''

The arrogant man quickly got closer to Gray and grabbed his chin harshly. Before , they could do anything to stop him. Gray grabbed the man's hand with an intimidating aura. They thought he would ask for help but no. His aura made them feel frightened. Gray looked at the arrogant man in the eye , to the other perspective point of view. Gray was just staring at him and the arrogant man stared at him back , frozen.

''H-Hey! What are you doing , kid?!''

The whore stuttered. She could feel the aura around this kid. It felt like everything was dark. He is dangerous. In a blink , the arrogant man screamed in fear. He took a step back and tripped with a traumatized look on his face. Everyone was shocked by his sudden reaction. What did Gray exactly do to make him act like a coward infront of everybody?

''Y-You! Stop t-that! Let's go! W-We need to leave!''

He pointed at the smiling Gray and ordered his subordinates to leave with him. When they were having a staring contest , the arrogant man felt like he could not breathe as he was hugged tight by a snake. Gray was there earlier standing , looking at him with a happy expression painted in his face. As Gray went closer , he slowly turned into a snake , wrapping the arrogant man in his slender snake-body tightly. He kept swirling around him going to the top , it felt tighter. The arrogant cried tears--blood--! He felt like he was in a verge of death. Gray opened his mouth widely , like a predator finally eating his prey. CUT!

It was not finished. His group left as his whore tried to comfort and asked him about what has happened. Everyone was indeed shock , how come a young boy bring terror to a man? It was unbelievable.

Scarlet , Aqua and Eugene stared at him with an open mouth and widen eyes. They started questioning him about what did he do.

''What did you just do?''

"Nothing really , other than staring at him , i guess''

They applaud for his victory in that 'staring contest'. They kept chit-chatting and laughing about how that arrogant man reacted to a mere staring contest that Gray just brought on. It was entertainment for them.

'No one will believe him if he says all that... , yes...no one will..'
