Survival Evolved: Incarnation

*ALL CHAPTERS ARE FREE* With little to no explanation for their wiped memory, several survivors, referred to as Arkians, wake up on a beach on what seems to be Earth. These survivors have many differences, but the most defining one is Sky; The one with a White Stone on the back of his left hand. What kind of journey will Sky undergo because of this White Stone? Survival Evolved is meant to take place through the eyes of a teenage boy (mainly), meaning that some things he doesn't pick up on or connect in his mind are done ON PURPOSE. 2. Survival Evolved often describes gore/wounds in a gruesome way. There are many scenes in which slavery, human trafficking, or torture are talked about, so read with caution!

The Isle

"What an intro," Fudo said, wiping sweat from his forehead.

Faith put her hand on my shirt and tugged downward. When I looked down at her, she was frozen and wide-eyed, staring up into the sky.

"Holy shit," Shike muttered.

It took me a while to realize what they were talking about...

When I looked up, I felt immense pressure. A pressure so intense that I could barely stay focused on the huge chunk of rock falling toward us.

That wasn't any chunk of rock, however.

With snowy mountains, giant trees, beaches, and swamps in an infinite quantity, I realized that this chunk of rock...

Was The Isle.

"What the hell do we do?! Holy shit, that's massive!" Alexia shouted out.

"Stay calm! We might be able to get most of you out on the Ship! But... won't that come from Earth after it's done with this Isle?" Fudo suggested.

Dammit...

I looked up at the Isle, slowly closing in on our position. We had plenty of time... but Fudo was right.

The Isle would crash into this Isle, and then get sent down to Earth, or whatever he said. But, what the hell could I do? I can't move The Isle! My strands aren't that strong!

"Then, go. Get everybody out of here. Leave Illya and I. We'll find a way to deal with this." I told Fudo.

"Hell no! I'm staying!" Shike yelled at me. Boo stood up next to him after Belle and Alexia were convinced to run by Shike.

"You can count me in too," Carl said with Lia and Lily standing beside him.

"Lia, Lily, you two return to Earth with Fudo. Carl, you can stay, and Shike and Boo, you can stay as well. Everybody else, is down to Earth, no exceptions." I demanded from everybody.

"Why are you splitting us up again?" Charlie asked me. I smiled, crossing my arms and looking at him with a side-eyed smile.

"Splitting-up is the ultimate form of trust. You've been with me since the beach, Charlie. Since we worked to make you a bow. I know you're trustworthy, and I know that if I don't make it back to Earth, at least you'll be there to change it." I told him. I turned back to Fudo and Alatus and pointed to Dani.

"And you take her as well. Don't let her beat you up if she wakes up, she will." I told them again.

"You're serious about attempting to move that Isle? Good luck, It's too big for strands to wrap around. You'd have to stop it completely, and an object that big? That's like stopping a moon with your bare hands." Illya said as everybody began to leave.

"Hands..." I muttered. I looked at my hands, then smiled.

"For a lady watching over me this whole time, you sure don't have any faith in me. As your leader, I'll show you firsthand what I'm capable of." I told her. I patted my forearm and pointed to my White Stone.

"Are you sure, Avie?" Faith asked that Entity, staring up into the sky as if she was above her.

"Hm... okay." Faith said again. She looked back down at me and held out her left hand.

"Avie says she can help." Faith explained to me.

"This Avie person is talking? She barely ever talked to me since we first met." I told Faith.

I grabbed her left hand and found my vision filled with words again.

[ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE RECEIVED]

So... she was still silent with me? I wonder what this Entity's problem was...

"Hey, you can hear me, right? Avie... thank you for all you've done for me. What's your plan for this Isle? I'd like to hear it before considering my own." I said out loud. I wanted to purposefully communicate with her without taking her stamina... but she was short with me.

[It Is Your Idea. I Will Help.]

Geez... Well, as long as I have her help. I didn't know what Avie was capable of, but I did know that she was qualified enough to save my ass on multiple occasions, so I had to trust her on this.

"Why did you guys stay?" I turned to Shike and Boo as I made eye contact with the very bottom of the Isle.

"It took a lot of convincing to get Belle and Alexia out of here... but we've known you for so long. We're not just going to leave you here alone." Shike explained to me.

"And... you need to take responsibility of me. After all, your child's mother killed the only thing I've ever loved." Boo told me. She wasn't making eye contact with me, but I knew she was still being sincere.

I looked back toward the Isle and observed the situation.

Right now, the Isle was slowly coming down on us. The Isle's bottom half, a thing I hadn't seen before, was spiraled to the very end, where it came to a fine point. A point that was so fine that it could've fit through the eye of a needle.

My plan would work...

But... was I strong enough?

There are enough trees on that Isle to supplement building a structure as big as this Isle alone.

There's enough water in the oceans to flood this Isle as well. The weight of that entire Isle barreling down at us... was insurmountable.

I felt the weight of the sword when I deflected them with my White Stone... damn, this is making me nervous.

Standing against an obstacle this large was scary... but it wasn't the craziest thing I've done.

I took off my shirt and flexed my muscles, preparing strands in my left hand.

I put everything I had into my left hand, tensing it up.

"I'm sorry, my old home, but I'm pissed, and I'm at my limit. I'll show you why I have my title. DEITY MODE, ENGAGE!" I screamed out.
