--Lia's Perspective--
"Is he okay?!" Lily cried out. I nodded.
"There's a very small chance that actually did any damage. He's a tank, you just don't know it. Look, if we all go at once, we can take him out. One of Sky's weaknesses was his stamina and his rage. Does anybody know what Orion is the White Stone of?" I asked, but nobody knew. I guess that information wasn't accessible to us... shit... I was running out of ideas.
"Lia... if something bad happens to us, I want to know what happened to you. When you were taken from our home that long time ago, what did he do to you?" Lily asked me. I thought it was strange to talk about now, but I was just as curious as her. We were at a standstill, so I guess it didn't matter.
"I was kept as a slave and starved for most of my time. I'll tell you the rest after we beat this son of a bitch." I told Lily. She smiled.
"I can't handle being left in the dark, how fast can we finish this?" Lily asked me. With Noboki, Ellie, Charlie, David, Richard, and Tyler behind us, Lily and I were excited to run in again.
"Lia! Lily! I'm going to analyze something, I'm sitting back here." Ellie shouted out. She ran back as Noboki walked forward with us and we finally had our team.
Lily began our charge by running in towards Orion. She slipped right by his sword by deflecting the strike and sliding past. I jumped in from above, pushing my daggers against his blade and behind thrown to the side.
Noboki ran in next to David and they both slashed downwards on Orion. Orion couldn't block both, so David put a large cut on his chest.
Even if we were doing damage, he was just healing it back. We needed a new approach... but if Ellie was thinking about a solution, then we had to keep going!
Lily threw one of her daggers at Orion's head and I followed by throwing one at his knee. My dagger connected and Orion fell to the floor, while David slammed his glaive down on Orion's neck.
The deflection skill Sky had shot off and David's right hand was blown off of his body due to the force. He was thrown backward and bounced off the deck before completely stopping as he hit a cabin on the side of the boat.
Lily and I only had one dagger to use, but Orion didn't show any signs of slowing down. That dangerous skill he had was gone... was Ellie going to come up with something soon?!
Lily ran in again and dodged backward, uniquely tilting her body as Orion tried to strike. She flipped around and kicked him in the face, slashed at his chest, and was kicked back to the ground next to me.
"I was trained... as Orion's soldier... I know all of his moves because I sparred with him every day until this war started. When I saw you, I switched sides as soon as possible because I would rather be dead than fight against you. I don't want to scare you, but I'm starting to get weaker and weaker." Lily told me. I nodded and turned my head.
Shock shot through my body as Orion's sword slid through my right arm cleanly and his foot planted into my chest. I was thrown back to where David was after Orion's attack, but I was still conscious and able to fight.
"LIA!" Lily yelled out, running toward me. Orion tripped her and turned around to punch Noboki down from coming up behind him.
"You people... you are so pathetic. How in the world did my soldiers fall to you?" Orion commented. I held the blood from pouring out of my arm and watched a similar mark Sky once had appeared up his arm. His shirt tore all around his left arm and I could see the markings on his left arm.
"What the hell is that idiot doing?!" I pushed my body up and ran back to where Sky was thrown. I pushed past the broken wood with one arm left on my body. I was surging with adrenaline, and all of the splinters stuck in my arm didn't even ache at this point.
There were strands enveloping Sky right now as he laid on the ground. It was covering his entire body and his eyes were rolling into the back of his head. "Move out of the way." Orion grabbed my shoulder and threw me across the boat. I hit the wooden pillar in the middle holding up part of the sail and coughed up blood in my lap. Dammit... I could heal fast, but this was way too much damage that I was taking.
Ellie jumped in behind Orion and grabbed him by the nape of his neck. She pulled backward on his and he couldn't move at all. He had a bad angle and couldn't swipe at her, but there was something else interesting about Orion. His stone was pulsing with a red color.
"GET OFF ME!" Orion yelled out. He summoned another metal pipe and missed Ellie's head while trying to stab her. On her way off of his back, she bent the metal pipe around his neck and kicked him in the face before dropping right next to me.
"I can't believe you, of all people, would fight me. You haven't forgotten that you are still a Danafall, have you, Ellie?" Orion asked her.
"Unfortunately, I couldn't forget that no matter how much I tried. I know the White Stone's weakness." Ellie said. I was confused, how was grabbing onto the nape of their neck their weakness?
"You all have tunnel vision. When your eyes turned red, you aren't able to focus on things around you. And, if you ask me, Orion... I don't think you have control of that Corruption you're flaunting around. Do you?" Ellie asked him.
"The point of a Corrupt State is to not have control of it. It's a state far away from your normal one." Orion explained. Ellie held up her finger, closing her left eye and blocking Orion's head from it.
"Even now, you still have tunnel vision." Ellie grabbed onto the rope on the wall and pulled it back while gritting her teeth. Afterward, rope wrapped around Orion's body and threw him into the pillar right behind us. Ellie helped me move before Orion hit the pillar.
"Thanks, Tyler. Seems like my theory was right after all." Ellie said to Tyler. Tyler must've designed everything in the meantime...
With a burst of strands from the pillar, Orion ripped the rope with some mysterious power and stood against everybody once more.
