--Sky's Perspective--

"After a few days of training, I'd say that you understand most, if not all techniques when it comes to fighting opponents. As long as you can debunk their strategies and work on your own, there shouldn't be an opponent you can't beat... Avie," Umbra said, frowning at my body while Avie was taking control.
My training was... not going the best.
Something I was starting to fundamentally lack in was strength... I felt like I was nowhere near as strong as I used to be, which is total bullshit considering the feats I pulled off.
Avie was sucking my stamina away to support her own needs, which wasn't a problem, but meant I had to train an entire body over again.
Everything I had built was given to her. I wasn't sure why at first, but she explained it in a simple way.
Basically, Avie was using my body, which meant that in order to support herself, she needed my strength and stamina. Otherwise, she would only be a voice within me.
Now that we were two separate entities living in one body, I had to double my capacity for stamina. When I became the Deity of Wrath that could deflect an entire Isle... I sort of maxed out on my stamina and strength.
The only reason Avie was able to maximize her power and defeat Quake was that she was using my stamina... so, the solution is to increase my stamina even more so we can switch between bodies.
However.
Umbra proposed another idea to us.
"When you two bond enough, your strands will become synced, which means that Avie will be able to pull out her own body and exhaust the power of her own volition. This would be impossible, in theory, because you guys haven't been together for long enough," was something Umbra told the two of us.
When Umbra explained things to Avie while she was in control of my body, she just blankly stared at the sky behind her. I was upset, but almost closely related to Avie on the same level. Listening to Umbra talk for long periods of time was like slowly drifting off into a nice sleep.
I wanted to learn, and I truly did, but Avie controlled how I focused and where I placed that focus at. I learned a lot about the way we functioned together while trying to live simultaneously, and it was almost all awful.
In the nicest way possible, Avie was a detriment to my progress and took up precious stamina that I had in reserve to fight myself. She kicked once or twice and I needed to rest for half a day just to replace what she spent.
"Switch with Sky, Avie. I'd like to talk to him about his capabilities," Umbra told the blue-haired demon. She yawned in irritation and nodded, switching my body back to me.
I was bombarded with an inhuman amount of fatigue and basically fell to my knees from the quick amount of pressure.
"What's the matter with you?! You can't fight, you're always out of energy... what's your problem?" Umbra asked me.
I felt irritated that she even asked, and stood back up after getting a quick amount of stamina back.
"Look, Avie is sucking all of my resources down to their bare minimum to support her own needs, and I have to catch up with those resources she spends," I told Umbra, but she shook her head.
"You two are not syncing up properly. Avie, you're not free from blame either. Sky isn't using your stamina, so stop using his. Stop trying to support more than what your body needs. Geez, you two..." Umbra set her hand on her face in a disappointing matter and I felt annoyed with Avie.
"I don't want to make somebody as strong as Umbra mad, so stop using more than you need to, got it Avie?" I asked her.
"I don't hear you at all. I need energy, and I'll use however much I want," She told me.
Why was she being like this?! She did nothing but help me before, but now we're butting heads like there's no tomorrow...
"She's unresponsive to your scolding, Umbra. I won't switch with her anymore until she learns her lesson," I told Umbra.
"What?! Not fair! I want to experience the outside world too! Just because your body is too weak to handle what I need is not my problem! Maybe you should've did a little more cardio in The First Trial," Avie yelled at me.
She's like a kid!
"I was too busy trying to kill Providence to worry about that! You know that, you were there! Why don't you work on syncing up with my strands so I can get you out of my body?!" I shouted out again. Nobody could hear Avie but me, so it sounded like I was yelling at myself.
"Sync up with your strands?! Why would I go that slow?! That's defeating the purpose of my existence entirely! My point is to go fast, you need to hurry up your strands to match mine, not the other way around," Avie scoffed in my head again and I held my eyes closed tightly to let the irritation soak before I spit it all out.
"YOU TWO! Arguing like that will not bring any sort of bond between you guys... Avie, switch with Sky again, and you're going to explain to me what your problem is," Umbra said, crossing her arms.
I denied the switch and Avie started to curse me out.
"Oh, don't you be a child too. Let me talk to Avie," Umbra said to me.
"This is pointless, Umbra. There's no way Avie understands any lesson you have to teach. She's too concerned with being faster than everybody. She's not even focused on you when you talk. Meanwhile, I'm trying to learn. Maybe she should sit in the back lines from here on out," I said with my eyes closed.
"You bitch! Why would you snitch like that?! I didn't know you were such a nerd," Avie scoffed again.
Umbra grabbed my collar and pulled my face closer to hers. Her eyes were scary when they turned into that bright-orange color, so I decided to listen and let Avie switch with me.
"Sky thinks about dirty things when he looks at Dani," Avie said in a low tone.
"Avie, I will kill you!" I screamed out. I didn't have a face, but if I had one, it would be beet red right now.
"I couldn't care less what goes on in that teenage boy's brain. Look Avie, your point may be to go fast, but if Sky cannot sync with you, you'll be trapped in his slow body forever. Either you slow yourself down, or you sit there until you die," Umbra said again.
